  • The reason that this album is underrated is because it’s not made for the regular youth or pop public. It’s a gift made by the band to themselves, for the joy of music and to show their love for humanity and diversity ❤

  • Make no mistake…Coldplay can make all the commercial music they want but they’re extremely capable of making amazing stuff when they want to. This album and Coloratura on their latest are proof of it. Their talent is undeniable.

  • They sing about love, they sing about revolution, they sing about freedom, they inspire, they cheer people up, they make you cry over 'Daddy', they scatter colours on your life, they make you to do hymn to the weekends, they make our sunrises & sunsets more yellow, they make us dance under a sky full of stars, they make us want to go back to the start as we regret our mistakes, they make us to promise that we'll learn from our mistakes, they make us believe that if we never try we'll never know. So tell me, why can't a band be nominated for nobel peace prize?

  • It breaks my heart that this is the least sold Coldplay album, because I truly think that the band went on a very different direction while making this. It’s so experimental, so unique, and it almost felt like Coldplay went back to their roots for this one. It feels old, and new. I’ll always remember this album as one of the most underrated records made by Coldplay. Rock on🤘🏽

    @JP-pm5hj@JP-pm5hj2 жыл бұрын

    • Seeing the Music of the Spheres, I understand that Coldplay has two sides. They can put out mainstream popular music very well but they can also produce music like Everyday Life which is masterpiece/classic level... I don't complain about how most people missed this masterpiece etc. it is cheesy. I'm rather thankful this happened and I'm here to appreciate...

    • I have a soft spot for Coldplay. I like their story, I like their views on life and cultural differences, I like their joy and positivity, I appreciate their approach to environmental issues and when I'm in the mood, I dance to their pop songs and sing Viva la Vida when I drive. BUT when I want to immerse myself in musical beauty, I listen to Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head, some songs from X&Y and some songs from Viva La Vida and Coloratura. When I feel like I need a psychologist, I listen to Ghost Stories. Ghost Stories is actually Chris's therapy and has very powerful therapeutic effects. When I need to ground myself, I listen to Everyday Life and for 52 minutes and 56 seconds this crazy world is completely okay.

Covid and Putin's Attack on Ukraine and many other world conflicts came after this album...."Look at what everyone's going through." May the peace and love shared so gracefully and with so much talent by these incredible artists return to our planet.

  • This is the most serene and beautiful thing in the world. That ending is surreal. It's the attention to details that makes this so heartwarming. The two men hugging behind CM and JB during Old Friends. The call to prayer. The birds. The way this city seems to stretch to infinity. I've heard so many people saying these guys didn't deserve a Grammy nomination. "Coldplay who?" I can't fathom how people would hate on a band whose ultimate message is "believe in love". This is the purest thing. It gives me faith in mankind, faith that one day, soon, we will all be together again.

  • I watched almost all the "Sunrise" part in live streaming exactly before entering the operating room where I underwent an invasive neurosurgical operation that 22nd of November. And Coldplay could not but be with me that day, just like all other days in my life. Fortunately, the operation went perfectly so that I could watch the "Sunset" part too 😂 Thank you Coldplay for has been the lifeline of my "Everyday life"! ❤ Love from Italy

Like even the hidden gems that are on their albums that are underrated, are still not really in comparison to some of their b-sides, which some of them are better than the songs they went with for the album imo. The only song I don’t really like by Coldplay is Major Minus, and that’s it! Imagine that man, out of all the songs that Coldplay have written, there’s only one that I wouldn’t just go and listen to. That is beyond incredible, since I have high tastes and high standards! Coldplay are truly something else, a miraculous gift! ❤️😌

  • I lived in Amman, Jordan to study the Palestinian-Israeli conflict during university two years ago. This video filled my heart; I miss those skylines. If I’ve learned anything through my uni days and the years studying afterwards, it’s that, the path to peace is pathed in humility. Restorative justice, forgiveness, and peace is brought through the unrelenting hands of those who do not think themselves above others, but are empowered by their love for their neighbor whose experiences are as valid as their own.

  • I’ve decided now. Everyday Life is my favourite album. Ever, I don’t care what people say. It’s so beautiful and so underrated. I hope they do something like this again, maybe with their final album, Coldplay. They probably won’t, but this was an interesting decision you guys made but it was a great decision. A beautiful album, and magical performance. No lights, no fancy performances, just true music and I love it!!

  • Arguably the greatest Coldplay performance for reasons very different than any other performance. This is as authentic and imperfectly perfect as it gets

  • This whole album feels like a prophetic, deeply spiritual precursor to all that followed a few weeks later, when Covid-19 became visible in early 2020. Hymns of hope, of coming back together, gospel choirs, multilingual, multiracial, celebrating one global community with the same blood running through its veins, a plea to overcome senseless gun violence, incarceration of fathers (Daddy), police discrimination (trouble on the streets), and looking to someone higher and holier to hear our plight

    • @Darren Richards...I've been in love with Coldplay since "Midnight". I stumbled upon this concert and couldn't form the words you wrote here. Daddy and Trouble on the Streets are thought-provoking and both just stopped me in my tracks. The jam session on Arabesque...OMG! The production value is so tight. The videos are sharp, the music is flawless, and of course, Coldplay knocks it out the park. How in the heck did they do this? Fantastic!
