On November 22, 2019, Coldplay premiered their new album, Everyday Life, live at the Amman Citadel, Jordan. The first half was performed at sunrise, the second at sunset. It was the first and only time the album was performed in full, broadcast live around the world.

The reason that this album is underrated is because it’s not made for the regular youth or pop public. It’s a gift made by the band to themselves, for the joy of music and to show their love for humanity and diversity ❤
Absolutely
I agree, only true fans love it, it's one of his best albums.
Absolutely 3x
It's a hommage to the human kind 🙏
EXACTLY. People lacking cute music and messages of world peace and love don't like something of quality.
unpopular opinion: this is the best Coldplay album ever
I’m starting to see your point of view. Truly remarkable from start to finish
Agree
I can’t put it above rush of blood to the head but I love you and I wish the best for you
In my opinion too!
i wouldn’t totally agree , but i am actually starting see how people rate this higher than others
Make no mistake…Coldplay can make all the commercial music they want but they’re extremely capable of making amazing stuff when they want to. This album and Coloratura on their latest are proof of it. Their talent is undeniable.
Commercial doesn't automatically equal not amazing... though of course, some of their more commercial albums are a bit more inconsistent
I honestly think Coloratura is my favourite song of all time. It's really something else.
I was one of the audience at the back and will never in my life forget this amazing experience! Thank you Coldplay for everything! سلام
🎉🎉❤wowwwww
How lucky!!❤
How did you get picked. What was the process? Curious!
this is amazing. Tell us more
Everyone it seems was at this concert
They sing about love, they sing about revolution, they sing about freedom, they inspire, they cheer people up, they make you cry over 'Daddy', they scatter colours on your life, they make you to do hymn to the weekends, they make our sunrises & sunsets more yellow, they make us dance under a sky full of stars, they make us want to go back to the start as we regret our mistakes, they make us to promise that we'll learn from our mistakes, they make us believe that if we never try we'll never know. So tell me, why can't a band be nominated for nobel peace prize?
anything abt religion ??
@@pushpikasunimal I think When I Need A Friend is the most religious song Coldplay has released over the years, although not explicitly.
I concur
Very nice use of lyrics there
Yes I applaud you for this comment - abso- freakin- lutely!
It breaks my heart that this is the least sold Coldplay album, because I truly think that the band went on a very different direction while making this. It’s so experimental, so unique, and it almost felt like Coldplay went back to their roots for this one. It feels old, and new. I’ll always remember this album as one of the most underrated records made by Coldplay. Rock on🤘🏽
I realised that a few days ago. With their new record out, Everyday Life seems like the record they needed to put out first, before going more mainstream again.
Don’t worry, they didn’t market it as much, I don’t think Coldplay kind or expected it to sell a lot. I love this album, better than music of spheres
totally agree
Seeing the Music of the Spheres, I understand that Coldplay has two sides. They can put out mainstream popular music very well but they can also produce music like Everyday Life which is masterpiece/classic level... I don't complain about how most people missed this masterpiece etc. it is cheesy. I'm rather thankful this happened and I'm here to appreciate...
Beautiful is often overlooked. This band is one of the most real, raw . This shall last beyond money or time
I listen to Coldplay when I'm feeling down, when I'm happy, when I'm studying, when I'm crying, when living feels like too much, when I'm cooking, when I'm driving...I listen to Coldplay everyday everywhere anytime...Coldplay is my home
Anke iooooooooo
Unpopular opinion: Church is the greatest song of Coldplay in YEARS.
I agree 🎉
Only if it had real drums instead of artificial ones on the album version
i am a simple man, i see Coldplay.. i click, like and share. its the little things that change the World
:)
my father always told me that he lived in the era of pink floyd, I will tell my children that I lived in the era of coldplay💜
La mejor era obvio colplay
The collective inspiration of music passed on from generation to generation
i lived in both :D
And I'm gonna tell that I lived in the eras of One Direction, Coldplay and BTS! 🥺🤧🤩
Hello, i lived in the era of Queen Bowie Pinkfloyd but i live in the Era of Coldplay too.
I once wanted to do some house chores, so I decided to put some music video in the background, a long video, and I'm a big fan of coldplay so I saw this and clicked. Let me tell you, I was supposed to do the dishes, the dishes were abandoned and I stood there watching the entire video. It captured my whole senses. And ever since, this live audition is always playing in my house when I'm seeking comfort.
me too!! I really like listening to long mix videos while I'm doing my homework. And I love coldplay and saw this video so I clicked it. I can also say that my homework was abandoned and I ended up watching the whole video. Now I have this video playing in the background while doing work. :)
The first note, tears well up in my eyes... why? This music is undeniably talking to our soul. I can listen to the entire album over and over and over ..... it's fresh everytime.
Me tooo !! Agree with every word!❤
I couldn't agree with you more. Amazing!
It's pure energy of love and joy 🙏🏻

💔
I HATE HOW THIS ALBUM DOESN'T GET ENOUGH CREDIT OR RECOGNITION. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES.
Not everybody has the same sensibility, some people might find it too hard to listen to. Certainly not my case and yours.
I have a soft spot for Coldplay. I like their story, I like their views on life and cultural differences, I like their joy and positivity, I appreciate their approach to environmental issues and when I'm in the mood, I dance to their pop songs and sing Viva la Vida when I drive. BUT when I want to immerse myself in musical beauty, I listen to Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head, some songs from X&Y and some songs from Viva La Vida and Coloratura. When I feel like I need a psychologist, I listen to Ghost Stories. Ghost Stories is actually Chris's therapy and has very powerful therapeutic effects. When I need to ground myself, I listen to Everyday Life and for 52 minutes and 56 seconds this crazy world is completely okay.
Yes, agree
ME TOO
This is Cold Play's best album. I bought it the first day it came out here in Poland. It is for all of humanity. It was also very prophetic. Covid and Putin's Attack on Ukraine and many other world conflicts came after this album...."Look at what everyone's going through." May the peace and love shared so gracefully and with so much talent by these incredible artists return to our planet.
Coldplay can unite the world and heal it at the same time.

Dear Coldplay, your existence is a gift to the whole world. We never deserve it. Seeing all the chaos and tragedies happening everywhere while you guys are doing the best you can to help us, I just want to say: Thank you so much. Chris, Guy, Jonny, Will, Phil, and everyone working with the band, Thank you all! Keep doing what you are doing!
They really are a gift to this world! They make so many people happy and the encourage us to unite as citizens of our planet! Coldplay also wants our planet to be sustainable to live on. Did you know they aren't touring again until they find a way to make it environmentally neutral at bare minimum? It is truly amazimg how great they are and how much they dream for our world!

Lovely words....perfectly put.
This is the most serene and beautiful thing in the world. That ending is surreal. It's the attention to details that makes this so heartwarming. The two men hugging behind CM and JB during Old Friends. The call to prayer. The birds. The way this city seems to stretch to infinity. I've heard so many people saying these guys didn't deserve a Grammy nomination. "Coldplay who?" I can't fathom how people would hate on a band whose ultimate message is "believe in love". This is the purest thing. It gives me faith in mankind, faith that one day, soon, we will all be together again.
The more successful a person or thing is, the more animosity it will bring. A pretty basic path of the human condition.
Faith in mankind... well said! Music should bring people together, not separate them and not make them envious. Coldplay
Well said brother

Not to mention all their b sides to. Like even the hidden gems that are on their albums that are underrated, are still not really in comparison to some of their b-sides, which some of them are better than the songs they went with for the album imo. The only song I don’t really like by Coldplay is Major Minus, and that’s it! Imagine that man, out of all the songs that Coldplay have written, there’s only one that I wouldn’t just go and listen to. I lived in Amman, Jordan to study the Palestinian-Israeli conflict during university two years ago. This video filled my heart; I miss those skylines. If I’ve learned anything through my uni days and the years studying afterwards, it’s that, the path to peace is pathed in humility. Restorative justice, forgiveness, and peace is brought through the unrelenting hands of those who do not think themselves above others, but are empowered by their love for their neighbor whose experiences are as valid as their own.
Amazing words, filled my my heart for the future of my grandchildren and of all of humanity thnx

Arguably the greatest Coldplay performance for reasons very different than any other performance. This is as authentic and imperfectly perfect as it gets
Music that goes straight to my veins through my skin and reaches my heart.
This whole album feels like a prophetic, deeply spiritual precursor to all that followed a few weeks later, when Covid-19 became visible in early 2020. Hymns of hope, of coming back together, gospel choirs, multilingual, multiracial, celebrating one global community with the same blood running through its veins, a plea to overcome senseless gun violence, incarceration of fathers (Daddy), police discrimination (trouble on the streets), and looking to someone higher and holier to hear our plight
Love this - thank you deeply for the band for the journey to Jordan and the rush of a yellow morning ❤❤🙏🙏
