  • Well done by all, seems a fantastic event. Shame the likes of traditional bricklayer are using their platforms to have passive aggressive attitude towards it.

    • Hi user-dt6hz2ir3y it was an amazing event and it has had a positive vibe on the industry, I think everyone has the own point of view and it’s important that we respect everyone view even if we do or don’t agree with it. We all deal with life in different ways that’s what makes the world so interesting have a a wonderful weekend all the best Tony 👍

    • Passive aggressive? All people that enter competitions need some sort of aggression. Bricklayers, whether they have a platform or not compete on site every day of the week. It might be against the clock, the weather, a site agent or themselves but one thing is for sure they are trying to lay bricks as fast as they can to an acceptable standard. Horses for courses comes to mind.

    • It’s funny social media how people can have an opinion about someone or something with out really knowing the person or circumstance. The person who is watched will either be judged or commended if he doesn’t or does share his life on line and the person watching doesn’t really understand what’s going on in his or her head or what it has took to get their we should really all support each other and if not talk directly to that person and express your thoughts in a proactive way life is really to short. Stu that I know has been on a massive life journey, he has had huge lows and highs but I don’t know anyone who hasn’t. Keep dreaming and keep pushing so many people complain about their circumstances but do they truly help themself it’s alway the mind set. Mental health has been a huge issue within the construction industry as long as I’ve been in it and it really only been talked about in the last four years and that’s how I was really made aware of it, by people like Rob, Steve,James and many others promoting it big one Lighthouse. Have a awesome weekend Tony 👍
