Tiger Woods' 2000 season is probably the greatest year in golf history, and we may never see better golf played ever again.
You forgot to mention that Tiger also one the Players in 2001 meaning he held all 5 biggest tournaments at one time. This will probably never happen again.
Scottie has 2 of them and he's not backing down.
@@gregrizzo8054 Scottie is a great golfer. Is it possible he could win the last 3 majors, yes. Is it highly unlikely this will happen, yes. We will have to wait and see. He has a great chance to become one of the greatest golfers of all time if he can keep up this type of dominance and consistency.
@@jadonnoble5621 The best thing about Scottie is that every single round of golf he plays is just another round of golf against the course. He does not care about anything other than breaking par. That focus is what makes him the best golfer in the world.
Good luck to the next Grand slammer..
@@gregrizzo8054 Long way to go. His stats are not as impressive as Tigers but obviously looks good in his own right. At least against the current field. So that's something. We shall see over the years if he can sustain it as Tiger has shown for a decade+. Probability and talen-wise its unlikely he nor anyone will achieve this 4 majors feat. Let's not forget something similar was said of Rory, Spieth, Kepka but we now know how that turned out.
The tiger slam is bigger than this, because the “5th major”, the players championship, he held this as well. He had all 4 majors, and the players championship. Greatest golf ever played
Well done mate. I’ll highlight that his 2000 US Open win wasn’t only the greatest US Open ever played, it’s arguably the greatest tournament of golf ever played.
Can't argue with that
Ik you just started KZhead so I’m here before this channel blows up
Appreciate it bro!
Keep grinding brother!! We love it!
For real the other day I was thinking how golf lacks content like this on KZhead.

Bro these videos are so good, I can't believe that you just started making videos. Keep it up!
Amazing video. Please keep them coming. Your content is great!! Thank you and God bless🙏
It's still unbelievable that tiger shot -12 while no one else could even sniff level par. Talk about being on another level. Maybe only Rory has come close at the 2011 US open at Congressional. Where he shot -16, 8 shots clear of second. Crazy Rory hasn't won 7 or 8 majors by now.
Rory’s win while impressive, was on a soggy Congressional and many players shot under par so while he won by 8 those were atypical scores for a major compared to -12 and second place +3. Tiger was also the only under par golfer at 2002 Bethpage in New York. The best way I heard it explained was modern golfers talking that they wanted to play against prime Tiger and when he came back from his back injuries in 2018 they wanted that guy and Phil, David Duval, Ernie and even Vijay said “no you don’t” because he was better than they were too.
Mint editing bruv 🔥 Supporting from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Love this video bro, Tigers era of dominance was absolutely incredible and as someone who is too young to remember this is a great recap of it !
Wow this is REALLY good editing...this channel is gonna grow fast
I’m glad I’m going to be one of your OG fans. Your work is fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Subscribed!!
Thank you Alek I appreciate you
Just a few minutes in i already like it. Some folks just don't have an ability to tell stories. I'm enjoying this.
Thanks man! I’m just trying my best to improve video by video. They’ll be crazy good very soon👍🏻
If Tiger had left his swing alone from that 2000 era that Butch Harmon helped him to craft he would have won over 100 tour events and over 25 majors. That's no joke. It was the greatest swing in the history of golf and he decided to change it in the idea that he wanted to continue to get better. Sometimes you have perfection and you should just leave things alone. I still can't believe he changed that swing. It was unbelievable to watch.
Great videos am subscribed

Tiger is the goat of all goats, there has never been someone so dominate in thier own sport compared to tiger.
Phelps comparable? Usain Bolt also
@rkim1991 nope tiger is in a category of his own
Great vid! Subbed before 100,000.
I remember watching it live.
Great video. He also won the players championship (which is considered the 5th unofficial major). Was incredible
i thought the 5th unnoficial major was the tour chip. Could be wrong
lmao the old golf shirt sleeves are hilarious. Why do your short sleeved shirts need to go past your elbow? LMAOOOO god I remember those days
My sleeves on my golf polo go as high as possible because I’m friggin yoked
this guy is about to have a lot more viewers soon
Tiger the goat
This some great stuff man. Glad I can say I was one of the first here before you blowup
Good stuff we will never see another like him. personally looking at the tiger slam I think that 2001 masters is just as impressive as his 15 win at pebble simply because of the period of time between the 3rd and 4th so he had 9 months to stew on it and that’s all the golf world and sports media could talk about at the time the pressure was palatable and tiger is one of those rare once in a lifetime athletes like MJ , Brady, Ali, Gretzky, etc can you imagine winning the masters by 12 strokes then upon watching the broadcast coverage decide you hate the way your swing looks so we are going to do a complete overhaul everyone said he was out of his mind but this stretch of golf proves he made the right choice. But from what I understand the next 2-3 swing reinventions after that were meant to minimize stress on parts of his body that were starting to break down really it’s the method of he went about chasing history and perfection that brought him so much success was also a contributor to his downfall physically he was fanatic about practicing and physical fitness he admitted running so many miles a day when he was younger just destroyed his legs and joints along with the heavy weight lifting and hitting golf balls for hours straight he was always pushing and never got the amount of rest and recovery he needed and sports medicine wasn’t what it is today he was mentally tough enough to play through the pain the 2008 us open proved that but as soon as the back started to go that was something he couldn’t just block out and play even though he sure as hell tried I think it would make a good video to talk about what major was his best win which I think would be tough to choose there’s a lot of crazy ones to pick from like his 2000 win at pebble and St. Andrews? Maybe his first major and masters in 1997 or the 2001 masters to compete the slam? Maybe the 2008 US open he won on a torn ACL and a fractured leg and went into a 19 hole playoff? For me the one that sticks out the most and IMO was even harder to win than the ‘08 US open and that’s is the 2019 masters when he gave us the magic one last time after slip ups in 2018 when he could’ve easily won the British and the PGA and even better this young generation got to play against him at their best and the leaderboard was stacked with the best and playing well. When he almost holed out on 16 I knew it was over even though he was in the same scenario as 2005 he made that miracle chip but he went bogey bogey after and had to go to a playoff with Chris dimarck And I’m not ashamed to admit it but this is the first sporting event I’ve ever seen that welled me up with tears because I knew everything he’s been through both physically and professionally and this was completing the comeback and ironically it’s the first and only major he won when he was behind in the final round
Tiger during 2000-2002 won so many of the tournaments he entered, you could argue he never lost. It was something we had never seen before, and I don't think we'll ever see again. This year, the PGA goes back to Valhalla. Looking forward to all of the content going back to that awesome 2000 battle.
scottie schefler
This is exactly what I need before my 1pm tee time
Hit ‘em straight🫡🫡
I was waiting for you to say TigerSlam word was invented! Alas…
Damn broski. I get actually stoked about watching your videos. Just curious whats your handicap?
Eh, it's probably like an 18 right now. I haven't played enough in the past two years to get something accurate (there's a reason I'm not going into great detail about how they hit these shots in these videos😂)
@@RoluGolf haha that's awesome. Love your outlook on the history of golf. You're a scratch video maker for sure. Keep up the great work
@@benjaminsmith5676 Ha love it man, thank you!
@@benjaminsmith5676haha great way putting it 🤟🏽
G.O.A.T.
You showed the Triple Crown just before discussing the PGA, but for the wrong reason. He won that when he won the Canadian Open that year along with the US Open and Britisj Open.
this is crazy
It's crazy to think tiger and phil have been professional athletes for over 2 decades
Here at 12k expecting at least 20k let the algorithm cook
Scottie is typing…
Here before viral 🎉
Here before 10k
All aye need is the Scottish open and I've done it difference is I'm on a game lol
how dare you.... make a video so good
As Crazy-GREAT as Tiger's pro career is, his Amateur Career will never, ever be touched... 6-STRAIGHT years of USGA Match Play Championships!!! 1991 - U.S. Junior Amateur, Boys 15-17 Junior World Golf Championships, Orange Bowl International Junior 1992 - U.S. Junior Amateur, Insurance Youth Golf Classic 1993 - U.S. Junior Amateur 1994 - U.S. Amateur, Western Amateur, Pacific Northwest Amateur 1995 - U.S. Amateur, College All-America Golf Classic 1996 - U.S. Amateur Stanford (1994-1996) - William Tucker Invitational, Jerry Pate Invitational, Stanford Invitational, John Burns Invitational, Southwestern Intercollegiate, Tri-Match, The Brawl, Cougar Classic, PAC-10 Championship, NCAA West Regional, NCAA Championship
Yeah it’s absolute insanity. Might have to make a video on that as well
@@RoluGolf It's already been done, but maybe you could do your own version? kzhead.info/sun/eb5_fs-Ijaqkf6M/bejne.html
1st and only oh well deal with it!
What about the greatest golfer to ever play The Game Bobby Jones?I think did that
Did he not mention that?😂 I swear I heard him say that
Scottie schefler grand slam????
So you saying Els would have been the goat if it wasn’t for Tiger 😂😂
Hogan’s Triple Crown in 1953 is arguably as impressive
It's called The Open Championship. Not The British Open.
It's not the British open. It's just 'the open championship'
Less talk...more golf shots...

All these comments are friends, family and sponsors. Except for me. Don't be obvious.
Bro what 😂
there is no difference in difficulty of a grand slam and what tiger did. Its such a dumb talking point.
Tiger slam counts
