    • I think people caught on pretty fast. Humans are dumb, but not that dumb. The skill he exhibited in his climbs made it obvious who he was. Watch it and look at the people's faces -- they knew who he was. Now, what they couldn't figure out was: why the f was he there pretending to be himself? And what would he do if confronted? All in all, really odd.

    • I agree in comparison to other content creators who take such things for granted, in relation to normal people you cannot say that indicates "down to earth" as it could also indicated just enjoying attention.   • So much fun having you at our event! We hope you had fun :) What Magnus doesn't really show in this video was just how long he had to stand there and take selfies and sign chalk bags and stinky climbing shoes once he took off that mask haha, and he did it with humility and graciousness.     • I think my favourite part of this video was getting to see Magnus just interact with climbers at your club like he was just another member. Hanging out with other climbers and working on a problem is probably my favourite part of climbing. I can imagine I’d miss being able to walk into a gym Unnoticed by anyone else and just climbing with the public if I was in magnus’ position.

    • @@danielkunkler7293 Yeah he mostly always used to climb after hours in one of his own gyms that he's part owner of. Also, if magnus is just at a gym, I think people respect that he's there to climb and for the most part leave him alone, but as this was a party, I think people didn't mind so much as he was just messing about with everyone and not seriously climbing only. Also when he is climbing in his home gym, he probably knows a fair few of the regulars as well, so they most likely see him about the place relatively often, so it's not such a big deal (as this was filmed across the globe in Australia if I'm not mistaken).

  • I would think if it was some other person, it might be a little arrogant to go dressed up as yourself. However, to get to that level of climbing it takes a lot of humility, and therefore know he's doing it for the genuine humor of it. What a great and fun idea.
