  • Just think, if Rodgers would have been drafted by the 49ers he probably would have been forced to start right away, not allowing him to change his throwing motion, not making him as accurate, which wouldn’t have made him as great.

    • Brady had time to watch from the bench as well. Great college QBs need a couple years of bench to make the necessary changes to their game. So many amazing college QBs that go on to start their rookie year in the NFL don't translate well. College football is so different than the NFL it's dam near a different sport.

    • He doesn't usually get that much time, and he didn't rack up his stats because of that. Part of his genius is that he has been able to adapt to every type of situation that has been thrown at him, and do what needed to be done. His mind and body are as close to one as I've ever seen in a QB.

    • Montana was the ultimate qb, pure consistent magic during his career. However, from purely skills and talent perspective? AR is the best to ever play the position. We're not talking about team success, charisma, leadership, etc. here. No, solely in terms of individual skills and talent Aaron Rogers is the greatest.

  • I've watched a lot of Arin throwing and I feel like so much of his actual throw is in getting flipped and perfectly squaring his shoulders to his man as he releases. And then he has that mechanized wrist that puts like 2000 rpm of spin on the ball.
