2023 Mercedes A45 Engine | 421 HP (M139) - PRODUCTION. New Mercedes-AMG four-cylinder turbo engine from ultra-modern production: The world's most powerful four-cylinder engine in series production, made in Affalterbach #AMG #A45AMG #PRODUCTION
Four wins: with an output of up to 310 kW (421 hp), the completely newly developed Mercedes-AMG 2.0-litre M 139 engine is the world's most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine in series production. With this engine, Mercedes-AMG has even exceeded the previously most powerful M 133 by 30 kW (41 hp). Maximum torque has also increased from 475 to up to 500 newton metres.
With an output per litre of up to 155 kW (211 hp), the new Mercedes-AMG high-performance turbo engine even ranks ahead of many well-known super-sports car engines. The new, highly efficient powerpack is produced on an innovative production line in Affalterbach, on the "One Man, One Engine" principle.

By the way I am a former motorist engineer...I worked on refining engines eventhough I did not created one from scratch.

Realmente no solo el motor, el AMG A 45s es bastante perfecto en todo, menos en diseño exterior y el cuadro de instrumentos/ pantalla gigante como añadida al salpicadero el día antes de ponerse en producción.

Great that you have a rig or dolly that can move "smooth" the probrely DSLR you are shooting with isn't smooth at all with moving shots. Some moving shots are great for some liveliness to the overall video but saying this is to much is underrated. Low shutter speed, rolling shutter and continuous movement make this video impossible to watch.

  • what I find so completely hysterical about AMG is that everyone gushes over their engines, reviewers and influencers go "OMG LOOK AT THE BADGE WITH THE SIGNATURE OF MARKUS BAUMGARTEN ON IT", then a couple years later reports start rolling in about major design and build failures, but then the influencers don't want to mention that. Everyone loved the V8s from a few years ago that were in just about every AMG 63, but then let's not forget their head bolt failures and numerous other issues. These are German cars and they are all built to destroy your finances. German cars today are the Italian cars of yesteryear.

Didn't you hear about Dieselgate and how the Germans are behind on new car technology, like electric? 3. it has been proven. Are you saying the c63 engines didn't have head bolt failures and other AMG engines don't have horrific failures of design and implementation that one could easily find all over the internet and on youtube and in recall bulletins? Outside of that, no idea what you're talking about. You sound like those internet commenters from India and Pakistan that talk about stuff they have no clue about.

    • SquillyMon I’ve just seen that too, don’t think that’s to clever either, So what happens when the plastic chain guides go brittle like in some other engines that had the chain inside n46 etc, take half the engine to bits to replace or are the chain guide made out of metal?

  • Driving the water pump oil pump and cam drive idler from the back of the crank is a first for me! Apart from a W/pump change from behind the flywheel - it's seems like a great idea!! OK the RR Merlin also drives the cams from 'behind' but via drive shafts and not a common idler.
