@@uletitlinger She was asked how she thinks she will do at naming those no1 players and she replied she's not going to focus on predicting how she will do, but she prefers to just do it, let's start naming them. the "action" just being this particular task.

Azarenka deserves extra credit for being able to name Goolagong since Evonne was number 1 for only two weeks and she was only crowned years after she retired (albeit fully deserved) due to missing data. Barty of course was also able to name Goolagong because she is Aussie herself and Evonne is her mentor.
Azarenka is best friends with Barty so maybe that’s why she knows
Sakkari knows her tennis history well.
But managed to forget Seles and Steffi
if you forget Steffi and Monica, your tennis history knowledge is close to zero.
I'm super proud that Sakkari was the first to remember Hingis. And she was so proud. Maria's pretty sharp though
I totally forgot Pliskova was #1 for quite a while.

Why both atp and wta are not combined still remain questions to many tennis fans. It will be a much better dynamic and competition in general and really boost the popularity of the sport worldwide.

Wow, I can get almost all of them…surprised someone like Barty didn’t know more, even if they were before her time. I guess they’re tennis *players* - not scholars 😂. And to be fair I’m a lot older and have been watching tennis since the early 80s, maybe even as a kid in the 70s 🤯 (feel old now).
