I forgot to add. The fighters fight based on a truly documented fighting style like in Bloodsport with J.C.V.D You have a character for example that uses Monkey Kung Fu and another Ninjutsu or Dirty Boxing or is a street brawler that carries a knife. And the moves and combos are well studied from real martial artists. I would prefer something like this a million times over than any MK any time of the day.

I am against DLC and shops. If I pay for a game, I want it to be komplete, otherwise I'm not paying at all, simple as.

I used to like the idea of DLC, the idea of keeping a game fresh and relevant with new additions AFTER the game has been out for a year or so, so you can continue to enjoy that game and they don't have to make a whole new game.... Now I hate it, because DLC is announced before the games are even out, which means they plan to delay content and make a half ass game.

Looks like we wont be getting the 1995 movie skins next season according to Fate Unknown I hope thats not true and if so I wonder what new skins theme we will get next season anyone have ideas.
I have a new concept for a fighting game. There is no health bar, no time limit. The fighting is based on realism and your aim is to break the other opponents defenses like dodging, blocking, side stepping, parrying and others. And you win the moment your opponent cannot recover from a blow. You have a recovery button when you get hit and have to mash a button like test your might in MK. It gets harder after the second hit or third. But everything depends on the severity and the force of the blow. An uppercut followed by a hit to the ribs could be impossible to recover giving your opponent time to break your limbs one by one and stomp on your head. So basically in this game all you need to do to win is perform a combo that your opponent cannot recover from. The fight might be as long as 1 minutes or 5 seconds. Also you have dozens of ways to finish your opponent in the fight. There is also a weapon mode and a survival mode were you can only win the fight by throwing your enemy into a pit, cutting him to pieces with a sword and so on. I think this sounds better than MK.

I agree with you it is too easy my problem of the game mk1 is 1.the other players being to toxic 2.is the player allways spam the same moves and 3.i hate most of all is player's are always running away when i try to make a move back to them.
Still not enough for me to love the game or at least reconsider my opinion. Cause despite that small shift with Ermac update, game is still trash. And we all know why. But if anyone forgot why, then I will remind you. Because, there is no single player content, there is almost no defensive options, there is no new interesting game modes, the game still have technical problems on PC (I don't know about consoles), game has microtransactions, crappy kameo system, crappy guest characters that should not be in MK in the first place. And just in general, this game is a live service game. Not to full extent but still, there is things that make this game a live service game. And the final nail in the coffin of this game will be the fact that, they simply had to released finished and polished game from the start. Like, they even did a beta test before launch, and yet the game still ended up been bad. So yeah, all these patches and stuff will not make me return to the game, unless if they make it to work and play like, at least MK9. But since we know that it is not gonna happen, I see no point of playing it. The only thing that somewhat is interesting to me, is characters dialogues for the laughter purposes and that's it. Everything else is just not worth my time nor money.
Seems there's a lot of whack a mole going on with the devs. Everytime they fix one thing, ten more things break in its place. Thus an endless cycle of needless patches. When they announced the game as "Early Access" after its release, that was a big red flag. And surprise, game turned out to be a complete disaster. No kameo, or superheros DLC is ever gonna change that fact.
I agree with almost everything that’s said the video. It’s something we can’t deny and we gotta give credit and their flowers because I do see MK 1 moving forward into the right direction.
Gonna wait for a steam special, for the Kombat Pack. Maybe I'll feel different about the game when I test out Quan and Ermac. Still pissed about Tsung though!!!

Funny, they'll get praise for giving Ermac a mask, but heaven forbid if they remove the game's abhorrent DRM, a system that nags at you for being disconnected from the internet, preventing anything from being unlocked. An issue they've knowingly had since MK11, yet they refuse to rectify. Priorities I guess. NRS): Fixing the core game < Fixing a small design issue that was probably done on purpose for easy PR stunt. Giving the illusion that they're listening, when in reality it was all planned beforehand. Wouldn't put it past them if that was truly the case.

I think it's finally turning around. They need to keep it up there is a lot that I wanna see happen with this game, but gotta give credit where is due. They are listening. Seems they are finally caught up with the adding crossplay/fixing desync issues so they can finally fix some stuff & make the game better. I don't personally mind if it's live service game as long as iit actually plays like one. New unique/fun content every month pls. More game modes pls. Better invasions pls. More story pls. 1v1 mode pls.

Well, i'm a bit late to the MK1 party as i only just got it a Couple of weeks now, but i'm really enjoying the Game, i agree MK11 had a more grounded Feel on the Fighting mechanics, and i still miss Characters Like Sonya and Jade, but i do have a blast playing Johnny, Sindel, and Li Mei, i do kinda Like Scorpion as i used to have some issues with the Ninja's and their combo's etc, the Background Lay-outs are so much better then Tekken 8 from an Artistic point of view, even Street Fighter Backgrounds Look weird sometimes and bit washed out, to much exposure and washed out colours, i Think MK and King of Fighters do these things Best in my humble opinion

Nrs does what their boss says WB, implementing Esg, then Nrs themselves can't make a fun video game to save their life, while harming the staff with ptsd. I can't speak for gameplay, I didn't buy mk12, but the art side of Mortal Kombat is trash. That's what Nrs does, fucks up everything, then small fixes here & there as live service. Until everything is fix, which is probably never, I have no interest supporting or playing Mk12. I hope it goes well, but honestly I think mk12 is a sinking ship.
Already sold my MK copy. Glad things are getting better. But as long as it has Kameo's. I'm not interested. Sticking with Tekken 8. I'm not interested in a assist game period. If they made a one v one system and got ride of the SweetBaby INC The MESSAGE bull shit. I might reconsider buying again. But until then not interested in MK at all. The MESSAGE and the Kameo System killed this game for me.
Honestly assist fighters need to be a thing of the past. Either make it full tag, or scrap the idea all together assists are just lame.

You know what I hate? Playing with Friends that are clearly better than you and they always go for the most optimal combo. If I play someone that is clearly worse than me I would just do mid damage combos
