This video isn't meant to be taken 100% serious. I know some of my points are hit and miss lol but this mainly a satire video with some points I'd like to bring up. I don't hate either of the games if that's how it's coming off. I love them both for what they bring. I'm just pointing out in my opinion the game as it currently is, isn't better than MK 11 for the fact it really hasn't offered us anything else besides new characters. Maybe that's a little more clear. ( This was supposed to be in the BIO but I had to scrap the original upload because it wasn't the right resolution haha)

Agreed. I like MK 1 but MK11 hits different. I miss the variation system from MK11. MK 1 seems watered down and like an Injustice Game. Do netherealms WB think us long time fans since da beginning and the new gen are stupid? It is clear as night and day, dat MK 1 was rushed and Injustice 3 was really da one being worked on. Look at Omni Man and HomeLander, Peace Maker they are clearly built for Injustice 3. Omni Man clearly got some of super man's moves. I hate da kameo system its tacky and cheap rip off of fighting games dat have done the assist way better. 99% of MK fans did not ask for this crap. Also a PC engineer nerd found out that we can actually play kameos with da main roster. But it's 🔒. Possibly paid DLC or free download later. I'm looking forward to next character pass. I'm bored with MK1 at da moment. Just grinding invasions for costumes. I like ermac but not bothered about him, Takeda was cool as hell in MK XL. But not into da whole LGBTQ thing. Not happy they changed Tanya to an African Americana. I'm mexican and africano. Tanya was hot in MK XL, now she looks men and completely different ethnicity. Sindel looks like a generic Chinese female in my local mall yawn, Lei Mei was done dirty too, Now she looks like a basic Beesh. At least Mileena still looks hot and has a killer top game (ouch). Nitara looks thrash. Melinda Fox or what ever dat no talent actress is straight up thrash in my opinion, they did Nitara dirty, Nitara was hot asf in previous appearances God dang it. Raiden looks pathetic as cocky young punk, I much prefer his manly elder self in MK11. I miss da old fart. Sub's and Scorps like like to Chad Calvin klein models, pathetic and weak with da same slick tied back hair styles, Nah they still look cool. Just having a dig.

MK11 is AAA Tier, I prefer MK XL over MK11 in some ways, Just because it was Kusoge asf, janky asf, busted asf, variation system is fantastic, da roster is S Tier, Busted stupid fast gameplay WTF is dat speed setting. Just watch any ninjakilla Liu kang videos. Bruce Lee himself ain't got nothing on dat game when it comes ta speed. All MK XL's faults, dang infinite combo's loops, still a great game, aside from dat muddy aesthetic. Mk11 da variation system is perfect for MK games. I am salty it is not in MK1. I don't care for da sorry kameo system with da same combo loops via kameos. Most of us fans didn't ask for pathetic kameos. Yes it gives more gameplay routes, but da precious variation gave us individual more room for expression, And made each character feel very different. What you think. It is not. MK1 is half baked. All the characters have crippled moveset, game has STILL no KOTH crossplay, invasion is tedious and sucks ass, and the balance updates are underwhelmingly bad! Stop coping you sad lil f*CK!

The must use cameo turned me off from mortal kombat 1, still playing mk11 till date... wish cameos were just a mode on its own and not a must use everywhere, all the time...

I played all Mortal Kombat games, including the spin offs, and I've never been this dissapointed in an MK game, just for Special Forces. The gameplay is nice, but there is a lot missing from this game, and Invasions fucking sucks. I would have prefered the krypt from 11 instead of Invasions. At least, in 11, there was a lot of content to unlock, and most players had some motivation to play 11. Also, the DLC characters have no extra skins. Remember when a DLC character from 11 dropped, there were skins included for the DLC characters, and a skin pack for other 3-4 characters with each DLC release? For the same price in 1, we get just the DLC character. In 1, there is no motivation to grind for unlockables, because the game feels too repetitive, and most of the "recolors" of the skins are bad.

It's a fighting game. The core is fighting. The fighting is better in MK1. That sums it up for me, in my opinion. MK11's gameplay was flawed by the variation system. Breakaway sucked. Krushing blows were unbalanced. Wake up was a joke. MK1's fights feel and look like they should, cool. The packaging around MK1 is less than adequate at this day and age, tbh. Customization is severely lacking. And invasions are boring.

@@Ririmo382 There is a counter to poking. Gameplay levels vary, for me the experience has been as described. The same argument you've mentioned can be made for every single fighting game in history, like fighting Victor's in Tekken 8 is somehow more enjoyable.

In a fighting game, the primary aspect that matters the most is the gameplay. MK1's gameplay is exponentially better than MK11's. MK11 does have more content, more polished graphics and a better netcode than MK1, but even with all the stuff that MK1's players have gone through as far as bugs, missing content and microtransactions, the core gameplay is so good that players have ignored those aspects. For its many faults, MK1 does tend to reward the better player, meanwhile, MK11 rewards the player using the character with better resources. MK11 had too many gameplay mechanics that rewarded players for getting their asses kicked: Fatal Blows, Krushing Blows, Wakeup Rolls, relatively poor AAs and Breakaways. The vast amount of players that prefer MK11 to MK1 are upset that mechanics like these don't exist to give them chances of beating people that they have no business winning against, even if they don't say it aloud.

Nah my guy MK11 is fundamentally flawed the only problems I’ve seen with MK1 is just content (that really shouldn’t matter), the gameplay being slow compared to the past games and of course something the gaming community will absolutely tear a new asshole on twitter that being microtransactions

I think kameos are hard to use as high damaging combos cannot be done without kameos so i prefer mk11 where it was a solo person combo

Someone said it best in the comments . It’s a fighting game, the core of the game is fighting, the gameplay and core mechanics of the game is the best in the series . I really don’t understand the complaints about micro transactions and costumes 😭, the game is fun the community just nitpicking💯

I am very disappointed in MK1. I like the game play. But the cameos should have been thought out better on how they work. Not all of them. But about half of them. Invasions was a horrible decision. They should have just stuck with the towers to earn coin. And brought the crypt back and do seasons in the crypt with random battles and boss fight there for the new season of invasion storyline.

What sucks about MK 1 the most is why is khai Yang is scorpion and not Hanzo Hasahi as Scorpion that’s what really killed MK 1 story mode and killed MK 1 And where is Jade MK 11 is better

I actually don't mind the story that bad. I think one MAJOR drawback for me is the Multiversal aspect of it. Being a fan of Comics and Geeky shit in a whole has been pretty daunting recently cause everyone wants to do the Multiverse route now… So when it popped up I was shook haha. I like Kuai Liang but I would like to see Hanzo return to the role. I was really thinking they’d make Smoke Hanzo at least haha but I guess not.

my reasons why Woke-tal Kombat 1 is bad. WARNING : Sensitive Topic. Dont read if you are Wokey or some Karen :D 1- the game is an unfinished mess. there are even rumors that it was originally gonna be Injustice 3 but but changed to MK and rushed 2- story is now literally a joke, they abandoned all the classic MK lore and atmoshpere, resetted everything twice yet managed to make it even worse and worse, turned MK into some marvel multiverse B S 3- roster is few, lacking a lot. and they keep adding B S guests from comic like Dumbi-Man, Piss-Maker, Home-Invader, which takes slots of legacy characters 4- kameos should have been optional and it should have been tag team modes, not just assists 5 - ruined the character origins, subzero is now scorpion, some edgelord is now subzero, baraka is now a good boy, reptile is a soi boi, shao is now a generic goon, reiko is a shao fan boi, and and havik is now dariou with darius story and meat's moveset, and worse he's a commie hahah :D 6- worst char designs. gave subzero and scorpion granny buns, smoke having a karen haircut. and especially fems. Tran'ya, Li Man'i, Bi'Leena. bunch of de-femine woke designs hahah :D 7- absolutely most pointless customization ever. no costumes, 1000 awful recolors of same skins 8- lacking game modes. invasions are BS. no krypt no kaf no konquest 9- they dont care about the OG longyear fans. their target community are TW weirdos now.. which is a shame :D 10- the game is ruined because of Woke too, look at how they added a traps version of Cage to please alphabet community. they are even in the dev team hahah :D and the game is associated with SweetBaby inc a.k.a the biggest woke mob of gaming then they wonder why Woke-tal Kombat is dead. they simply put agendas before game's fandom. then they cry on TW when their game is dead :)

I like Kuai Liang but I would like to see Hanzo return to the role. I was really thinking they’d make Smoke Hanzo at least haha but I guess not.

I think MK11 looks more fun to play than MK1. Plus it's cheaper, nowadays.

Neither one of them are bad give it time to show you it just started. Peacemaker is one of the best dlc I played.

my reasons why Woke-tal Kombat 1 is bad. WARNING : Sensitive Topic. Dont read if you are Wokey or some Karen :D 1- the game is an unfinished mess. there are even rumors that it was originally gonna be Injustice 3 but but changed to MK and rushed 2- story is now literally a joke, they abandoned all the classic MK lore and atmoshpere, resetted everything twice yet managed to make it even worse and worse, turned MK into some marvel multiverse B S 3- roster is few, lacking a lot. and they keep adding B S guests from comic like Dumbi-Man, Piss-Maker, Home-Invader, which takes slots of legacy characters 4- kameos should have been optional and it should have been tag team modes, not just assists 5 - ruined the character origins, subzero is now scorpion, some edgelord is now subzero, baraka is now a good boy, reptile is a soi boi, shao is now a generic goon, reiko is a shao fan boi, and and havik is now dariou with darius story and meat's moveset, and worse he's a commie hahah :D 6- worst char designs. gave subzero and scorpion granny buns, smoke having a karen haircut. and especially fems. Tran'ya, Li Man'i, Bi'Leena. bunch of de-femine woke designs hahah :D 7- absolutely most pointless customization ever. no costumes, 1000 awful recolors of same skins 8- lacking game modes. invasions are BS. no krypt no kaf no konquest 9- they dont care about the OG longyear fans. their target community are TW weirdos now.. which is a shame :D 10- the game is ruined because of Woke too, look at how they added a traps version of Cage to please alphabet community. they are even in the dev team hahah :D and the game is associated with SweetBaby inc a.k.a the biggest woke mob of gaming then they wonder why Woke-tal Kombat is dead. they simply put agendas before game's fandom. then they cry on TW when their game is dead :)
Mk1 is unfun to watch, I can't imagine it's much more fun to play.

The game is not fun to watch. I can't get hyped about players using the same strings every single game. Everyone using the same top-tier characters and Kameos (stupid and should be totally removed) every game. Literally the most boring game state Mortal Kombat has had in years.

Woke-tal Kombat 11 was already a trash game. and you thought it wouldnt get any worse. WRONG. Woke-tal Kombat 1 took trash to another level. WK1 has worse gameplay, worse customizations, worse char designs and even worse lore than WK11, they dont care about game anymore, they just care about ESG/DEI Woke B S, they even created a traps version of johnny cage called janette or whatever hahah WK1 is an absolute circus :D
