    • 100%, and what I love about this video is that you see a great deal of insight and warmth from the YTuber, and none of it’s conveyed in contrived way. There’s no narrating or blabbering on from someone that loves the sound of their own voice, and Patrick G portrays a sense of “this is who Leon Edward’s is: beyond the Leon the sports start and beyond the framing by UFC”, and the focous is brought back to the ridiculous challenges him and his team has faced and showing Leon from the perspective of a brother, trainer, countryman of 2 different countries and most importantly… as his mother’s son. Just brilliant work in every way.

He isn't filming anything, but his storytelling abilities rival anything I see on TV in sports period. Its unfair to say just MMA for him. He is big time. Patrick skillset goes far beyond MMA. He could do a film on border issues or homelessness and it could win awards. Such a special talent. You will go far in life with this ability my brotha.

    • You gotta get out of that mindset for all around fighting bro. Don't be out here calling fights boring when the people inside those cages are fighting for legacy and the belt itself. Yes, some fights are not gonna be action packed like Gaethje v Chandler or Pantoja v Moreno etc. You gotta give these guys their credit, even just fighting in the UFC and getting some wins, is still an incredible achievement. The balls, the guts and determination it takes is too much for the regular people.. Btw this isn't a hate comment, just saying that: Don't underappreciate UFC prospects or any fighter in general

I have a feeling Tom Aspinall is going to be the next in line, unbelivable, America had it wrong, it ain't tea and crumpets over there in the real world. Im only young still but a lot of us as we get older find ourselves wondering “what would have happened if I just committed, or gave it my all?” Dave was speaking to a lot of us watching. Millions of people saw that an all a lot more will still see it as time moves forward.

  • The fact that he has 300k subs is unbelievable. If someone doesn't know about the UFC this is what you should show him. You start off barely knowing the fighter to fully being an invested fan. It starts off showing the fighters take losses in the octagon and in life and then gives an ending (with slo-mo and music) that's more emotional than some movies. The fighters turn into heroes and their mediocre lives turn into an emotional rollercoaster. These are the documentaries I want to watch!

  • I can only imagine how Leon and his team must have been feeling in that second fight with Usman, when the altitude was affecting Leon’s performance so bad. He lost round after round and must have thought his chance was over. The rallying cry from his coach and mentor to try and somehow get Leon back from the brink was gut wrenching. It was all but lost as Leon just couldn’t get his body to work properly. But then a miracle happened. A pre thought-out head kick tactic, drilled over countless weeks of training, came to the rescue just when Usman was tiring and thought he had it in the bag. It was an unbelievable moment. We were all stunned. I almost couldn’t believe my own eyes. How Leon and his team must have felt will live forever in my memory and his immortal words “headshot dead”and “look at me now”. And the brilliant thing is he’s now defended the belt twice. It couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy given the terrible luck he had for the last few years. Great documentary. Thank you for creating it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Honestly, it just goes to show you should never give up trying your best at things. You never know what can happen 🤔
