Amazing video! These jaw dropping passes is something you cannot teach, you're either born with it or not. You also have to keep in mind that we see all these passing lanes on a panoramic camera angle above the pitch, while he sees them in 1st person. It is astonishing how he continues to find ways to improve different aspects of his game after 10 years. What is so bewildering is, this same guy is capable of dribbling a whole team on his own if he pleases, and scoring more than any other player... Yet, he's worked so hard on his passing which adds a third threat. Think about coming up against Messi. If he wants to, he will dribble you, but you also have to be wary of a defence splitting pass, and at the same time he can just curl into a corner that no goalie will save! It's been beautiful to watch his game evolve from when he was a more peripheral member of the team, definitely the Goat

Interesting thing about this video: Most of the chances he creates are wasted by his teammates! If he could just finish his own plays. ;-) And all this is just from one (!) season. And it's only one aspect of his game! Add dribbling, scoring... And he's been doing it for a decade already! Simply the greatest player ever. When you watch videos like this you realize how absurd it would be for anybody else to win the Ballon d'Or. Certainly not somebody who was just fortunate enough that his teammates pulled of a small football miracle at the Euros.
