The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.
I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use of it than they can. It’s not much different from bond investing. The way I see it if you have a million at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50k-70k in dividend income. Credits to my FA Emily Lois Parker

I totally agree, I'm 60 and just retired with about a million in outside retirement funds, no debts and very small dollars in retirement funds compared to my balance of portfolio over the past 3 years to date. tbh, the role of an invt-advisor can only be overlooked, not denied. you dont really "buy" domains, you lease it from the domain registrar company. Reselling it will def cost a lot so I wouldnt do a lot of these unless you plan to sell high for very much in demand domains.

Given the economic hardship in 2023, how can we enhance our income in 2024? I have about $130k in bonds but the erosion of my financial reserves due to inflation is my main worry. I will appreciate a video on short term profitable investment that could turn $150,000 to say $300,000 or thereabout.

The only thing I can add to this is, if you are investing and are in it for the long haul, do not go for divided stocks. You will get twice the return from value investing. The 'twist' is, of course, that you won't get income from your holdings until you sell them, so it's not a good call if you are after money in the bank right now (that being the point of this vid which is why I am not saying the fellow is 'wrong'). The best route is to value invest in a portfolio of two or three index's/ETF's and then convert over to dividend ETF's when you want to retire.
