Today, I’m going to cover eleven causes of leg pain and what you can do to help relieve leg pain naturally.
Eleven causes of leg pain:
1. Lactic acidosis
2. A pinched nerve
3. Obstruction in the arteries
4. Low vitamin D
5. Diabetes
6. Flat feet
7. Tight psoas or quads
8. Old injuries
9. Deep vein thrombosis
10. Overtraining
11. Stenosis
Keep in mind that many of these issues can be traced back to a poor diet. A diet that’s high in carbs and sugar can damage your body in so many ways.
I believe a Healthy Keto diet and fasting are essential to support a healthy body. Learn more about Healthy Keto and fasting in my other videos.

  • I was literally in tears, waking up from terrible leg pain in my upper thigh. I woke up screaming one night. I started researching, I wasn’t going to let this go or live like this. I watched a couple of Dr. Berg’s videos and went and got vitamin D and nutritional yeast right away. THE NEXT DAY NO PAIN! Thank you Dr from the bottom of my heart! No pain since the! I cant thank you enough! I’d literally hug you !!! 😭

    • Hi, My kid kicked a hole in his room door. He claimed that his upper thigh had a cramp as he was walking towards door and that he started stomping his leg to stop the cramp. Ive never heard him having cramps and does his story sound normal? When ive experienced cramps in my feet I couldnt move and had to relax to make it go away. He claims his cramp was bad bad and he stomped on floor repeatedly and since his back was facing door his heel hit the door and made a hole. Does that seem like an accurate story?

    • @@Ethiopia716I use Dr Bergs nutritional years and vit d combo. Works amazing and I was so skeptical but I get a lot of leg pain to the point I can’t walk and now I’ve been getting leg cramp and foot pain at the same time and it’s excruciating but once I take the yeast tablets and electrolytes it calms down within a few minutes but those few minutes are the absolute worst!😭😭

  • I am too skinny bc of a stressfull situation. And after having spent months on the couch on disability, bad weather as well as sleeping on that thing created painful spots on my leg where my nerves were pressured in i could feel it throughout my left leg. So when i went walking my leg numbed out. I also did have a vitamine D shortage. Now the numbing of the leg has switched for a while to a burning sensation, very intense and painful.. but with taking vitamine D it is slowly getting better. I can continue my walks and the burning sensation is almost gone. Eating much better, sleeping much better. I also had shortage of folic acid and 250 cholesterol i am working on. Thanks you so much i feel better watching this video. Also thank you for sharing some of your physical shortcomings, doctors rarely do that and it shows you understand what comes with pain or injury. Thank you for that.

  • OMG...growing pains are from lack of D? I was in constant pain in my childhood, legs, back, hips. Now, I am 66 and deal with the same pain from a life of crappy eating from day one. My mom didn't nurse me because she was a nervous wreck and I just found out recently that the "formula" during the 1950's was a recipe of "evaporated milk, sugar or corn syrup, and water". Then, both of my parents being from the south, we lived on fried everything, white bread, and white sugar. I have spent the last 6 years trying to reclaim my health before I die. My most recent addition to my diet has been homemade milk keifer and am finding it almost a mirical cure at this point.

  • Your timing couldn't be better. I've been experiencing sporadic pain in both legs at night that I've never had before. Some is definitely related to a torn ACL in my left knee that was never repaired (thanks to a corrupt HMO) and has gotten arthritic over the past few years. But calf pain has been in both legs. I also started noticing years ago that even the simplest repetitive actions would make my legs feel on fire from lactic acid. based on this list I feel like I have 1, 2, possibly 3, possibly 5, and 8. :(

  • I had the exact same experience with shoes, supports and flat feet. I was an overweight but very athletic child. I wore these monster(!) shoes with huge soles and arch supports for years! My feet were flat. I had an unrelated back injury at 22. During the long recovery from that, I found that my back felt better when I was barefoot 🤔 I wasn’t intentional at all about it… it just sort of naturally happened- but I developed arches! I kept wearing low profile shoes - back then I would get Earth shoes and wear Chaco sandals all the time. Now I can do the funny Vibram shoes if I have time to mess with those… but mostly buy Chacos shoes and sandals. My feet are strong and my back is happy. I’m going to try the shoes you suggested!! Hadn’t heard of those. Thanks as always!

  • Thanks for the info Dr Berg. I used to wake up on horrible cramps in my leg; screaming from pain years ago. Thankfully this is no longer the case now, thanks to your health advices.

    • @@saidomohamed3442 I don't have any good explanation to feeling better 😅 except the keto diet, pretty much like how early signs of arthritis have vanished after following keto, and stop eating wheat products.

  • My legs have awakened me in the middle of the night. It’s excruciating. I take magnesium & it usually goes away , also put on support hose & sleep in them when this happens. I definitely have taken in a lot of carbs also when this happens. Thanks Dr. Berg.

  • My legs (calves) have ached for 2 yrs now. I did the psoas stretch that is in the othet video and my calves feel so much better after 1 night. I will continue with the stretching. Thank you for all the help you provide and the cost effective methods to deal with issues. My Dr said to buy an inversion table. Those are over $200. Thank You!

  • When I was a young kid and I experienced restless leg syndrome at bedtime, I always told my parents that I must have played really hard that day cuz my legs just wanna keep going! Yep, musta played really hard! Then, as an adult, it was because of my collapsed disc at L5-S1 rubbing against my nerves that was the cause.
