Or the part where she was on the run for several years from a ludicrously gargantuan bounty with her only constant friend being a silent robot.
Drinking becomes a real easy getaway when you live in constant denial of being alone.
Also, interesting fact: In Borderlands 3, they gave her a new ability where she could kill people with her gaze

Gaige has some wasted potential being a nerdy hardcore punk chick that is vunerable inside. I love gaige as a character with all her robot related phrases when she summons deathtrap. i just wish there would be more content with her.
stop hoping gearbox to care more about gaige. they truly wasted her potential. turning her from nerdy dorky badass inventor cyberpunk girl into confused wedding planner simping for a man that doesn't care much about her in borderlands 3. gaige got better treatments from fanmade fics and arts compared to gearbox's official canon-y stuff for her.
The writers are mostly useless hacks who care more about memes than character development.

She is one of my favorite characters but her skill trees are a mess. Why they put her recochet about in a completely different tree from anarchy I will never understand.
The fact angel passed along her tech siren powers to tannis, and not gaige who she had a kind of relationship with in the background of bl2 is a crime. could have been such an interesting character upgrade and a worthwhile siren to carry on angel's legacy.
I am very happy this is finally here since Gaige is my favorite character in bl2
I'm still waiting for a DLC where you help her in getting rid of the crimebuster bots. Kind of feel like it's what she should have been doing between BL2 and 3.

i wish there was a comic on how they were brought together before the intro of BL2 happened. Like Axton, Zero, Salvador, Maya, Krieg and Gaige. And probably Maya told Gaige to protect Krieg in the back while the OG cast checked the disturbance inside the train
gearbox only care for borderlands 1 vault hunters. there's been like several comics for them while bl2 hunters got screwed by bl3 story writers.

Same here, I love Gaige. I solo’ed all content with her, even though it wasn’t the easiest, zer0 was alot easier. But Gaige will always be my favorite and she really encapsulates that wacky borderlands feeling. I mean, what could be more BL that negative aim?! 😂
@@dennisnordlund902 She's my fave character by a huge margin. :) Also completely alters the way i play FPS games, i usually default to stealthy sniper builds. With gaige i instead go full anarchy and shoot shotguns at peoples faces point blank :D

I was never very interested in this character but after the bl3 hammerlock's dlc i played bl2 with her...shes fun to play with..also...I just realized that her deathtrap bots are used all over meridian meteoplex as police bots and delivery bots in borderlands 3

From what I understand, the arm isn't as sturdy as you'd think. Gaige alludes to the fact her new mechanical fingers broke off when she first tested out the "arm smashing concrete" part.
At least we have melee abilities like her digistruct claws, so thats a trade off

I think what’s more interesting is that it doesn’t necessarily matter. If what we hear is true then Gaige should have gotten first (or at least above Marcy). So the fact that she didn’t begs a couple questions about how Gaige sees the world. I haven’t gotten too deep in the lore but if all we hear about the “buying off” the judges incident is from Gaige’s echos then it could be an unreliable narrator type thing. Where the family didn’t actually buy them off and Gaige only thought that because in her mind there’s no way the other girls bot could be better. We hear her call Marcy names in all of this and it’s all her opinion so in actuality it could be Marcy’s also into robotics and developed a great robot too. This is a rabbit hole though as with unreliable narrators, liars, and even those who overly exaggerate, if you question one aspect you have to question all of it. So maybe Gaige couldn’t accept that her bot is inferior and rationalized it with the theory that her family bought the judges. All of this^ is completely a guess based off of casual gameplay of Gaige and this video. I’m most likely wrong and that’s okay because I like the thought experiment of it all. I think it adds a little bit to her character too.

Not 100% sure here but since Siren powers seem to be rooted through the left arm and only the left arm I think that means Gaige can't become a siren due to her robotic left arm. Though I do see your point but 3 dropped the ball so many times during it's story that the ball ain't even in the same universe at this point.

its totally nonsensical that gearbox made gaige drop her echocasting hobby for no reason. she would've been a great contributor in the war against calypsos through her echocast channel and also offers bl3 hunters the opportunity for more quests from gaige (especially resolving gaige's conflict with the holloways).

@@boom-wj1gt gearbox planned to use her for marketing borderlands 2 contents. but ever since she was released, there's no more info about her echo or story. theres some gearbox twitter about torgue hijacking her echocast to promote the torgue dlc but i forgot where the link is. gearbox only add some more unique dialogues to her in wedding day massacre and son of crawmerax , but she doesn't mention anything about her echo cast. and iirc in bl3's hammerlock dlc she said she goes hiding as drifter looking for odd jobs here and there but still no mention about her echo cast too. imo she drop her echo cast because she doesn't want to be tracked by the holloways. just my headcanon. since gearbox seems to don't care much about gaige for some reason.

Gaige for me is one of the many characters I reccomend for new players, alongside Axton.

Deathtrap is in my school vr game as a boss it was an elite unit for mass production, and they are very interesting where Deathtrap, after defeat, he becomes a perk (it acts the same as the Mant perk from the game Grounded) and she is still alive and acts as the perk upgrader

I loved Gaige up until endgame. I was really bummed when I started needing Anarchy and realized I'm screwed when it comes to solo-farming tough bosses... because I lose my Anarchy everytime I exit the game. It's so time consuming when everyone else can just jump back into the boss fight, whereas I have to farm Anarchy before fighting the boss again 😢
Could those service bots in BL3 be those "Crime buster bots?" I mean their designs look vers similar to good ol DT himself and some of them are designed after police forces (the Constable bots and Billy club bots)

I feel like Gage was another character that they did wrong in boardlands 3. Her monolog about her loneliness [because she has to hide] is sad, even worse is the fact that when she thought she lost Death Trap the sadness in her voice almost broke my heart. Because of the hiding she has no friends, no family so Death Trap is all she has. Reminds me of the movie Cast Away were due to extreme loneliness the main character desperately sought emotional support from a beach ball.

I do have a little question concerning time line that is the Bots we fought in BL3 could be the rip off deathtrap models but Typhon's Robots and the Robots found in Family Jewels are the same models, so which one came first?
Since Halloway Robotics robots cause problems or make them worse instead of solving them I imagine they'll be getting sued and alot of complaints from their customers so maybe Halloway Robotics will suffer the same fate as the old Atlas did
