At first I thought it wasn't a bug, Because since her release the bug was always there so I thought it was just her advantage so I always abuse it LOL Actually muddles have another bug, the damage it transfers is 100% and muddles somehow can't activate golden staff, Even though DHS and corrosion's damage work well
it got removed because its easier to do than before cuz of the new attack settings
Masha went through every role, from a fighter to a tank and now an assasin. Can't wait for her skills to finally deal magic damage😘

Melissa is just bug fixed before she can attack mid air and still hit the enemy from afar. like basic attacking to nothing and the enemy link to muddles still gets damaged
I saw this one before cause I always play roam, I legit thought it's one of her actual gameplay

I think what it means is when only attacking the air muddles will not trigger dmg from dhs and other similar equipments

2:30 the last attack of Melissa that has no target so it didn't trigger Muddles to attack. Before, muddles still attacks enemy even tho Melissa has no target. In this vid (Hororo admitted that he did not understand the changes) Melissa attacked Muddles and that triggered muddles to attack and that is a feature.

@@Myticalcattnip not a nerf, bug fix. Im glad its gone anyway, you can only pull it off in very niche scenarios. Melissa needs a buff to her ult, she shouldn't be gettin hit by johnson's car or aldous ult at all. We need a mm to counter one trick johnson's because its hard to split push

i think the melissa one refers to her using her basic attack on the air (literally nothing) which triggers her to attack muddles. it’s connected to the basic attack targetting adjustment and it’s been going around lately, getting lots of attention.
Yes, look at 2:30. You will see when she shoots the air and not muddles, it doesn't hurt layla
Thank God they buffed Masha for better performance plus Ruby's nerf isn't worse than before (like she still had base spellvamp but nerfed to 5% instead of completely removed)

@@Irfan_Muhammad07 death is also a purify. In DOTA2, death is considered a hard dispel that removes most buffs and debuffs where all dispel skills can't remove. So yeah, she basically has 3 purify but the final one also dispels you from the clash

For melissa, it's might be confusing even hororo confused, but he already realized what the nerf is in the pinned comment, for y'all who still don't get it, before when melissa linked the enemy and only attacking air from afar not the target or the doll it still deal extra dmg from the link, now when the similar situation happened the link no longer deal any dmg just like this 2:30 before the cut
The Melissa fix was about the new setting with target, basic she can still attack muddle without being in the muddle range or basically she just attack air and expanded the range of hit basic attack. Glad the fix it it was broken AF!

For Melissa, for the context we talk about her attacking outside muddle circle or she didn't hit muddle (muddle button) It was as long as muddle linked with enemy even though you're hitting air (just basic attack without hitting anything and/or outside muddle circle), the muddle will still deal damage to enemy. Now in order muddle attack linked enemy, Mellissa still need to attack something or deal damage to something or attack muddle itself to make muddle attack. Why this happened? Because there's a specific settings for Melissa which allow her to hit air freely with fast basic attack, and enemies are to far to counter her back, since Mellissa only need to linked the enemy and she can deal massive damage from afar.
hororo, the melissa part if you go to settings > controls > attack activation distance then choose close, before if you wouldn't hit muddles, muddles would still hit the enemy hero but now it wouldn't 2:47

@hororochan its becuase players can just uss muddles and melissa dash away, and with the new distance target, they used close and melissa can just hit thin air while muddles damages enemies. So like you can just throw muddles and dash to the tower and you'll be safe hitting the target froma afar even if it didn't reach muddle's range
For mellisa i think if you are not in range of muddles, giggles cant attack it anymore. Previously, even if muddles is far away from you(out of your basic attack range) giggles can still attack it as long as you do basic attacks.

For the basic attack ones they wanted to nerf the trick where Melissa would have the target option at "close" so she would throw muddles on the enemies dash back a bit then attack the air and still let muddles trigger the attack effects
1:52 This means that when Melissa attacks in the air with an enemy with a leak in the muddles, the attack effects will not trigger. that's my understanding
Masha buff is great. Ive already relearned her kit and she's actually really good if you know when to engage. the buff is going to make her very strong 💪

The thing was melissa can hit the second skill doll without attacking anything, she can just stand still and attacking air and that her 2nd skill deals dmg to enemies that connected to her 2nd skill
The Tigreal cc reduc is good, not too much and not too little. Not completely removing Ruby lifesteal is also excellent. I hope this kind of good balancing would happens more often
Oh for Melissa when u hit "Air" middle still attack the targetted enemy, but not that's removed so that means when u try to hit the natalia hiding in the air muddle will no longer give the damage
1:52 there was a bug where if melissa shoots towards the range circle thingy of her skill 2, even without any real targets, will dmg the enemies that are linked to the puppet.
The Melissa change means muddles won’t damage the enemy if she just attacks air. Before you could press the attack button without a target and muddles would still deal damage
Melissa, like if you use basic attack on the air (hit noone), muddles will attack on the link enemy, but now that is gone

Melissa used to be able to trigger muddles attacks without touching a target, so if your basic attack didn't land on anything. Now it doesn't anymore (you did it once at 2:31)
I think what they mean by the nerf of melissa is that your puppet will not have attack effects if you dont actually attack the puppet in range since you can really extend your range and not be at the puppet range by activating the "close" option in settings
But I dunno if that is the nerf means since I exploit this strategy before this sudden update
Its deserved for masha before the update i played her and shes so awkward in team fight and struggling to survive/catch enemies because shes vulnerable to cc

Melissa update is that previously Melissa would hit air when her muddles was connected with enemy and when she hits air one of her basic attack went to muddles passing on to enemies means free long range which is removed it was a bug
The Melissa nerf means the basic atk from muddles won't trigger if she throw her basic atk in free air, it still would trigger if she aimed at muddles itself or any creep
The Melissa one means when you use 2nd skill and it attaches to the enemy hero then Melissa attacks with NO TARGET. NO TARGET means you're attacking from nowhere. not muddles nor the enemy hero. we all know that when we attack, as long as muddles is attached to the enemy they will receive damage. Look at 2:31 , when the one attack/bullet from nowhere that Melissa did, it didn't do damage to the enemy.. That is what it meant 👍 I'm Melissa main so that sudden update is very disappointing to me coz I rely on that one and attacking muddles
Mellisa previously could attack the air and still make the Doll hit the enemy she coud stay in a way safer position especially with one setting. But now that has been removed she has to actually at least hit The Doll or any other thing for the doll to attack the enemy

Melissa used to be able to make Muddles attack enemies by shooting at air. Now she would need to hit Muddles/creep/minion/enemy to make Muddles launch attacks.

I think it could've been better to remove Ruby's base spellvamp as long as she can't be affected by antiheal effects. That way, she could really use the limited items of spellvamp to her benefit.

For melissa u try it on wrong way Maybe its on her basic attack that doesn't hit any target (include muddles) If u dont get it its the same thing as wanwan basic attack, melisa can also hit enemy even its not on muddles area if u turn off the basic attack setting (i forgot its new name)
