  • Can you imagine Black Mamba being killed by a 17 year old? Gogo would've gained legendary status in the criminal underworld. She almost succeeded, but she got too close to land the kill shot.

    • Doesn’t that make sense though? Get too close to a deadly viper (Black Mamba) and it will STRIKE. And once it does, there’s no hope for you. Throughout the entire film, while it does show that Beatrix is an extremely talented fighter, you’ll noticed that she struggles which each one, in varying degrees. She could have easily died during any of the encounters. And yet… almost miraculously she doesn’t. She just so happens to survive a point blank gunshot to the head. Bill just so happens to call Elle before she can slip her the poison. The mosquito just so happens to wake her up from a coma. B.B. just so happens to have survived. She just happens to find that table leg with nails. Etc. She seems almost unkillable. It reminds me of a quote she said during the first movie. “When fortune smiles upon something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other that not only does God exist, you’re doing His will.” I’m not discounting her prowess or training as a fighter. But it almost seems like she was destined from the day that she got pregnant and ran off, to bring the rest of them down for good. Perhaps now that she is the only one left… maybe Nikki is destined to finish the task, and nail the final Deadly Viper into her coffin.

  • The weapon Gogo uses is a Meteor Hammer. It's the perfect countermeasure for a sword as clearly shown here. It's main drawback is it's extremely difficult to use as you have to keep it in constant motion, by whatever means necessary, to be affective. It's also unpredictable and can be just as dangerous for the wielder as the person it's being used against...the perfect weapon for someone insane like her.

    • That weapon (called a Meteor Hammer) was specifically designed to be used against swords. The obvious downsides of the weapon are that it has to be constantly in motion to be of any use whatsoever, and that you need to really know what you're doing and how to properly use it or you'll just end up injuring or killing yourself with it more so than many other weapons.

If it wasn't because of plot armor, those two hits she took to the chest at 4:25 should have been enough to break her ribs, crush her lungs and/or cause heavy hearth damage, incapacitating her completely and ending the fight, I mean, if the thing was heavy enough to take a chomp off thick wood pilars (4:18), how did her unprotected chest endured two hits? Of course this also means that Gogo shouldn't have been able to get up after taking that hit to the head later on (5:14), but Gogo out-skilled her to get the first strike, and one strike with that thing is all that it should have taken. Yet even when Gogo had all the advantages going her way she lost because Mamba could still use her hands and feet to improvise. This illustrates the differences between the two, one a slave to her weapons, the other dependent on her imagination and instincts which is greater than her sword.
