theres a special place in my heart for rally drivers. they have got to be the craziest and the most skill full race drivers on the planet. where the skill gap is determined by weather or not you wrap your car around a tree or not.

Rally driver must be the most brave and skilled drivers of any motorsports. The amount of trust the co driver and driver have is insane. You literally have each others lives in their hands.

Not embarrassed to admit that the WRC video games brought me into the world of Rally Racing. I don't really play video games anymore, but I'm so happy that rally racing exists, and I can't imagine what it would be like to drive that way. These dudes are insane lol

I can’t decide which I like more : The fantastic sounds or the hilarious spectators. But I do feel bad for the fences and guardrails. Rest in pieces!
I have a feeling that “if in doubt, flat out” is many of the drivers mottos in life
These pro drivers are extremely precised, also extremely good drifters and they have instant reaction to the events in front of them in just less than a split of a second. It looks impossible what these guys are doing, like they're litteraly dancing with the car while they flying at high speed through the forest. They're really a pilots on the wheels, and even drivers from a much faster motosport categories such us F1 or La Mans are not match to them. These guys are simply born to get out from impossible driving situations.

Yet another gift from Mr M. Thank you so much. As for drivers, forget about formula 1 or circuit drivers, Rally drivers are the best and most skillful to handle unexpected road conditions. It's not driving, it's art !
Yeah and also hillclimb drivers aren't having it easy because on some tracks there can easily be three different types of asphalt so it gets tricky to get proper setup and to drive since it won't handle the same.Not to mention they both have to deal with bumps as well.Really,road racing in general is some other world.
I get emotional just watching the sheer skill and bravery... Toyota Yaris a beautiful Rally machine , one of the best of this decade so far! Said it before and I'll say it again, the Best drivers on earth!!

This is a great vid. Something in for everyone: crashes, jumps, insane speeds, etc. But there's one thing here that the kids of today believe is a new sport, and that's drifting. Rally drivers, undoubtedly the best drivers in the world, have been drifting cars, virtually since rally racing began, and use it as part of their everyday tools of their trade. And before anyone says, "Formula 1 drivers are the best!" Sure. Stick them in something that costs £6million pounds, with every technological, vehicular advantage known to man! But I'm talking about man and machine going head to head against nature, and every type of weather and surface imaginable. And some of these machines are hardly different to some of the vehicles we drive in our streets, everyday!

I agree with the sentiment of Rally drivers being the most crazy but skillful people in motorsport, but I also say the same about some of the spectators... some of them seem to not fear death 😅
