  • Lol, the spider at the beginning is a huntsman, scary looking but one of the few Aussie spiders that WON'T kill you.

  • It's so nice to seeing Australia not on fire anymore. Not to mention the local fauna intergrating back to their habitats again.

    • @@linusandersen3587 Do you propose I should remove the Brazilian prime minister (the advocate for forest clearance) from office? I'm sorry I can't do that. And Brazilians seem to like him just fine. After all, the forest is cleared for agriculture so they can feed their families and ensure their children's education. It's like the Indonesians and the orangutan. They should be poor but keep the forest while the Brits and the Muricans are so rich they don't know what to buy next. I sometimes wonder if western conservationists are preaching to the choir. Conservationist: "Animal A will soon be extinct". Me: "Yeah, why?". Conservationist: "It's parts are ordered by Chinese millionaires to prepare traditional medicine and viagra". Me:" So, what do you expect ME to do about it, exactly? Can I just approach Bill Gates or Elon Musk and tell them what to do? They have security guards you know. I'm sure Chinese millionaires have theirs too".
