I think proximal bids are the best way forward to much time spent going to auction and it's a level bid as in you don't get caught in the moment of auction battle bidding if you get clear photos of car do all your checks can't see the point of spending a whole day at auction
Another theory with proxy bidding… was it just you vs the fire extinguisher and the reserve was only £6500?? 😂😂
Dave over at Lovely Car also uses proxy bidding.
Try lubricating the steering joint at the end of the steering column, known problem to cause iffy steering, cheap and easy to do.

If I was to own a disco, it would have to be dark green, but it does look good with silver and black. They seem popular as camera cars for tv shows and a couple of car KZheadrs, youse them as camera cars. Looked great in the showroom. Great video and content as always ♥

Doubt its tracking. Bottom arms regularly need replacing on these and bushes due to weight. Same on rangie

I can't, that's the risk we take. But the ones I bought are of a value that it's worth repairing (to me)

Question re the proxy bids: Can the auctioneer see the value of the proxy and bounce bids off the wall to raise the bidding to the proxy amount?
I'm not sure but that's what most of the comment section seem to think 😂
@@ShiftingMetal Yes, all auctions bounce bids from the back but only to the reserve. It's illegal for the house to bid things further.

I just had a new engine fitted to a 2017 F-Pace with 65k miles.....
@ckm-mkc OUCH! I have owned over 25 vehicles in my driving lifetime. A majority of those vehicles have been brand new but when I was first started some of them were near the end of their useful lives and the only vehicle that I've ever had to replace an engine or transmission on was a Land Rover Freelander and I had to replace both the engine and rebuild the transmission!

Don’t bid more than you want to spend and you can’t go too wrong

BCA auctioneers take proxy bids all the way, thats from the horses mouth. Your crazy for putting any proxy bids in, regardless of which auction it is.
Which is why you should proxy bid what you’re happy with. You act like he’s bidding thousands above trade value just to get the car. 🤷🏽♂️

Totally agree, I don’t have experience of BCA but I have inside information on other auctions and the auctioneers love it when you leave your highest bid, they will run you up up within £100 of it every time !

They know what your proxy bids are so they will bid up to close to that. Not so sure proxy bids are what they seem.

The point about proxy bidding is surely redundant, now that BCA is internet only. Nobody sees who's bidding.

Quelle Surprise they took you almost up to your over book bid. Beyond me why you let them know beforehand how much you are prepared to pay and then sit there watching it instead of bidding.
It works better for me. If I set a budget and bid manually it seems to go higher
