  • I thought that would be a closer game but Notre Dame came to play! Was that Tamika Catchings calling the game? I love that they have the legends of women’s basketball making the calls. Her knowledge of the game is next level.

    • That's in any sports broadcast they have a former player with analysis duh

    • I respect the fact that she openly admitted that, when she arrived at college, she didn't appreciate the necessity of playing good defense (and in all candor didn't "buy in" to that requirement) ... and CONSEQUENTLY she rode the bench until she smartened up !!! That's STILL an important lesson for young players today to hear and learn :)

    • I've only gotten into women's bb in the half-year or so ago. I was wondering who the analyst was, she called their previous game, but that makes sense that they would keep the same broadcast team in South Bend for a few days. Looked her up on Wikipedia, holy crap. I'll have to go search from some highlights, but from her accomplishments she sounds like she is an undisputed all-time first-teamer.

  • Who would have thought in mid February that the Fighting Irish would be where they are at currently with such a limited roster due to all of their injuries. They looked like a mid level regular season ACC team earlier in the season with probably no better than a quarter final round in the ACC tournament and no better than advancing to only the round of 32 in the NCAA March Madness tournament. But Niele Ivey figured things out and got her team playing at such a high level with their lack of depth and finished 4th in the ACC in their regular season standings and then went on to win the ACC tournament and now advanced to the Sweet 16 for the March Madness tournament. Niele Ivey should be considered for coach of the year with how the Fighting Irish turned their season around from mid February to currently.

  • First time I really watched Ole Miss all season;a good team that lacked perimeter shooters. They have length and size. Coach Yo needs to find shooters. The Sweet 16 is going to be rockin for the women! The stars are all center stage. 😊

    • Your ignorance is showing. Her name is Tamika Catchings, one of the best to ever play the game and the award for best Freshman player is named after her. Catchings was born hard of hearing; she wore a hearing aid as a young girl. In 2000, she was honored with the Reynolds Society Achievement Award by the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. On June 24, 2008, Catchings was awarded the Dawn Staley Community Leadership Award for her work in the Indianapolis community with her Catch the Stars foundation.

I'm glad that you can find amusement in a person who was born with a disability and their speech pattern. Maybe one day you will have a child with a disability and that way you will be amused every day for the rest of your life.

    • @coachhumph5524, I agree with you @coachhumph5524 and thank you for letting that ignoramus know who she is. Also Tamika has a "DISABILITY" but she doesn't let her diable her! Some people like her with a disability won't get a chance to do what she is doing, but I commend her for even trying because most people with aa disability wouldn't even try because they know that people LIKE YOU @cassotv297 would make fun at them and even laugh at them, which is so sickening! Good job Tamika!
