  • A vid I made a while ago, thought about launching on a second channel and then realized I would never have the time to run a second channel, so i'm relaunching it here. Very important video for those who want to start a KZhead channel themselves.

  • Wow. I learned something new. Till now I was under the impression that only viewcount mattered on youtube and every view was billed equally. It also explains the fact that how many of the fake self help gurus became famous. They just talked about money. Apparently people love listening to people talking about money.

  • Part of me wonders if the reason the investing channels make more money is because they attract an audience that is more willing to view the adds that show up on those channels. I.E. I got one of those how to be a top seller on Amazon adds when I click on this video but once I saw it was over two minutes in length I clicked the skip add video. Where as if the add was on an investment channel and I was looking for a way to get rich quick I might have watched it all they way through.

    • Or people are more desperate & as a result more likely to click through for something that can make them $$ rather than something that would entertain them.

  • Hey, what if you make a couple of video on finance here and there? Do you think that'd boost the revenue overall? It would be an interesting strategy... still related to movies, but with a finance twist, occasionally.

  • That is a great video, thanks for the information. I'm considering trying my luck on youtube by filming one my passions which is sculpting characters with clay(maybe like dr.garuda's channel), do you happen to know how can much does that niche make per view or how can someone go about finding that out? I would really appreciate learning this but I realize I'm asking a difficult question.

    @TheStracky@TheStracky3 жыл бұрын
    • Even if you find out how much you could earn by the time you would reach decent number of views things can change quite a lot. As has happened in the past with what is called now Adpocalypse. I wouldn't base my decision on how much you can get from ads since most if not all youtubers have alternative income sources to survive and/or grow. Making videos from your passion can be a way to suck the fun and interesting parts if you don't enjoy the process (video editing, some marketing, writing scripts or the whole logistics of filming something like sculpting) and just want to make money out of it.

  • I thought youtube paid for the amount of views, and while I get that some videos don't make money. Unless the guy has 9 times more ads and people willing to watch his content with ads. Why the higher return on less views? This seems like movie math were often it doesn't make sense were the money went.

  • I don't tolerate most of that channels, for me it's people talking about money without question our economic system and the relationship we have with money and status, most of that youtubers are selling the fantasie of been rich just because is profitable and the scam just keep going, I'm sure that some channels are well intended but the majority don't 😕
