Crongrats on your participation in designing the pack. I like how they are including people like you in this pack and Devon Bumpkin in Cottage Living. Way better than the Sims team
I love Devon Bumpkin’s build so I was really happy when he got to build in a British world in an official sims pack

A lot of this would go perfect with Cottage Living for like a rundown cabin in the forest as like a starter farm house

The second I watched the trailer, I was like man this pack was made for James. It just had your vibe all over it. I was so happy to see you were the talent behind these builds. You did such a fantastic job!!!
Maxis logic: Little houses? -> tall windows Huge factories? -> small windows
I mean I agree with them... You don't really see factories with big windows. Architects use big windows to make small spaces feel more "open"...
@@salshouille Not true. Small windows may be the most common but there's a Victorian mill around ours with large windows. Medium size mostly and one very large at the top. I'm not sure if its like that on the other side of the building but I expect it was the big wig's office. The example I tried to direct you towards is a building called "Lion Mill" on a website talking about textile mills. Obviously I don't want to give away my location, but if you can find that image, those windows are the medium wall height size similar to the one I'm talking about. Note: I had already replied to this but I quoted a website to find with an example image of what I talk about. I was worried it'd be flagged as spam and when I reloaded an hour later, it wasn't here so I'm typing again [sigh]
@@salshouille there’s plenty of factories with big windows. Maybe it’s just where you live? Or maybe the type of factories in your area. A lot of the old refineries, coal plants, manufacturing plants, and other types of factories in my area have plenty of large or medium sized windows and ceiling windows. Possibly for ventilation as well. The ones I’ve seen with little to no windows might be meat factories and such.
@@salshouille I live in an old shoe factory, my windows are 6ft high and 4ft wide...many old factories are the same around here.

Yes finally! I'm so here for the new industrial items. Also noticed the category "shabby" has been added to the game which is awesome. Definitely will get a lot of use out of the BB.
I know everyone is calling it "industrial", but I think of it as more "junkyard chic". haha

I love how basically ALL the EA content creators released their videos all at once, my phone didn't stop pinging for like 5 minutes straight because of all the notifications lmao Also this pack is a dream and your part in it is simply * chefs kiss * I'm actually obsessed with the bus item, it looks like it could be perfect for rags to riches - you could just place the outdoor bed/cot inside and it's like you're living in an "abandoned" bus?! This is THE best B&B since dream home decorator and the fact that most of the items (if not all of them) are so suitable for other occults like spellcasters and vampires is just amazing. All the moon shaped objects like the mirror and the nightlight are simply perfect for witches. And CAS looks freaking awesome too. Fungus amongst us, Fenry Chompsalot Jr, Portal Potties... the Sims Team's pun game is once again very much on point :D

So many simmers video notifications but I figured since you made all of the lots I should watch yours first! Super excited for this pack, especially for building those big art loft type industrial builds.
*record scratch* Wait a minute hold up you built ALL of the lots in this pack?????! Dude, that's amazing!! 8:01 that archway and broken window are easily my favorites atm 😍 24:33 those trunks remind me of Harry Potter! (Also Newt's briefcase he carries around) 26:33 the little book under the table!!! Hands down amazing detail. Omgosh 😍
I loved the duct-taped together workout machine made with an old car seat. Hilarious!
I agree about the trunks. The fun part is that it looks like you could make a realistic Remus Lupin with a dilapidated trunk.
I'd really like to see your version of the Three Little Pigs houses in a wooded area so that the big bad wolf can come for a visit. LOL 🐖🐖🐖🐺
I’m very excited for this pack! I’m glad we get a new toddler bed and bassinet. Would love it if EA had an update to give all fences a matching gate. 😂 I love the new nightlight for kids though. I wish we’d get different types of workout equipment and kids toys. Like a pull-up bar or bench press would be cool.
32:10 The best solution I can think of would be making the initial grouped item, but then have it like counters where you can click on a gear next to the swatches and change it to singular items in the group.

I really like the idea of a Riches to Rags LP with the items that have 'new' swatches and the beat up ones. A Sim from a well-to-do family is bored with their life, but meets someone mysterious one night which results in them slowly falling into the Werewolf lifestyle, and all the furniture they own slowly deteriorates and gets all stratched and ruined

I'm really digging those live edit shipping containers. I'm definitely going to use them with eco lifestyle and make a junkyard for a lone wolf to live in
That theater-esque chair literally looks like the chairs at my local theater, actually a lot of this looks super familiar and I love it!
Your enthusiasm shows what a perfect match you were to build the lots in this pack! I don't even do supernatural gameplay and I'm tempted to get it for the world and items now.

Once again, Build/Buy has hit it outta the park... very impressive... whilst I just can't vibe with the werewolves, the stuff is absolutely brilliant... so many different uses...
i would really love an official "rags to rich" objects kits or pack with really low quality items in build buy, also low quality clothes and also really nice ones really expansive... it's would be cool to get more part time job too and more work choice overall , i love just start with a really poor sim or family cause it's just too easy if i don't ... go EA just do this pack please ! This would be so cool, with James helping doing it cause of all his let's play about it ! (also this would be cool to get a town with a really trash side and a really rich one beside it)

The build is one of the things I've been looking forward to! And I've been wanting werewolves since I started playing! Ooh I'm so glad we have SUBTLE color changes! I can't wait to make one wall look slightly newer or more moist because it's holding back water

I love love LOVE the items in this pack. Even if I wasn't interested in the gameplay aspect, I would still buy this for the build items alone. This is gonna make run down buildings look awesome!
I really like how much this could pair really well with Eco Lifestyle with a lot of the DIY type of items.
the stone arch doors and stone windows would go good with a green house with cottage living stuff
40 minutes just for build/buy, James built the lots, the way I get hyped every time I watch the trailer, CAS... I absolutely pre-ordered it & have no regrets.

The small desk is just like one that used to be at my parent's house that was just a shelf with a panel that came down to be a desktop I love that that is in here!!!

wow that's actually a lot that we will get in this pack I am definitely going to get this I love all the roughed up looking items these could work for maybe an old eccentric spell-casters house too. Plus I love occult sims so can't wait to play werewolves too.

I'm loving this build and buy! I can see myself using it for outdoor retreat area. More industrial look down by the doc in that city pack that I can't think of the name of. Haunted houses with some of this stuff. I'm so ready to build.

25:00 I built that desk IRL once when my parents got a new door and were gonna throw away theirs but I needed more desk space - the hole for the doorknob made cable management pretty easy

These look incredible, and loads of stuff that will fit well with eg. Realm of Magic stuff too. I got 10min into this video and went and bought the pre-order. It really feels like they've made a huge effort with the BB this pack.

I love how they got you to do ALL the lots. I liked in previous packs where multiple builders were involved, but by having one person doing all the building feels a bit more cohesive!
Everything looks so cool! There are many pop culture inspired builds that eagerly wait to be created. I believe many players will be inspired by a recent horror game.
Surprisingly, the thing that excited me the most is the piece of teared wallpaper. Can't wait to play this!
I really hope you build some things outside of the pack theme with these items! Like a huge factory or outside area with the sewers and a bunker with the new debug object.

This stuff all looks amazing. The fact that it's so stylized and yet so many of the items still feel very versatile says a lot about the design of this pack versus older ones. (I'm looking at you, Get Famous.) It's so nice to see how much the objects and textures are improving with each new pack, and I can't wait to see all the cool builds people are going to create with this pack.

I really wanted build buy items like this for a looooong time! Especially combined with strangerville, eco lifestyle, maybe even university and cottage living. Very excited!

I think it was a missed opportunity with the Homer Bucket inspired plant pot in the collection of plants. I wish they'd taken that piece of artwork and made it into a single plant planter. That would have been amazing.

This eastethic is just perfect for You James and made me think of You right away, before I knew about Your builds. I LOVE that they chose You to work with them for this pack! I love it too, a lot of the stuff looks awesome and well made, I'm excited! The roofs, the bus thing, the rugs in both new and worn out looks, the "handmade" things, there's a lot of nice details. I like the quality of the new pee/poohoo bush, I wish it came with matching regular bushes and a hedge!

These are possibly the most impressive build and buy items we've ever had. Love the amount of detail, so much of this would have been useful for my many extreme rags to riches games. Can't wait to try them out!

Ur not bias. This is totally your esthetic. You always express love for this rundown look and they picked the perfect simmer to do these builds.
Also I swear EA was reading off my wishlist when they made this pack: Werewolves are something I've wanted since Vampires, more run-down and beaten-up looking items, and (what looks like) an actual electric guitar, *on top of* lots built by IMO one of the best builders in the community, along with a base game update that adds my favorite dumb way to die.

I love this pack, because ive wanted for a while more old broken and tattered items
First and foremost congrats on designing the lots. I don't play with occults much but I do like some of the bb and cas options those have. Im actually excited for this pack because I like what I see from bb and cas more then other occults. I think im going to enjoy this actually. Unlike the *cough cough* wedding pack. I can't wait to get this tomorrow.
