TRX Falls Off A Cliff

So this was a challenging recovery. First in order to even go after it we had to get permission from the Sheriff's Department, BLM(Bureau Of Land Management), STLA(State Trust Lands Alliance - I think), and the owner of the vehicle and the insurance company. We had to submit our plan of getting the vehicle out to the land owners and get permission to be off trail to access the vehicle and what actions we would take to ensure no others would follow our tracks. This recovery thing is not just simply buy the biggest equipment and go risk lives to get views. We do this for our jobs and take doing this very seriously along with not damaging the land and possibly jeopardize our access to the wonderful area we get to recreate in. This is the way we decided to handle the situation, I feel we did it as best as we could with the parameters we were allowed to work in. I hope you guys enjoy the video. We appreciate everyone watching and supporting us. Thank you.

  • This was probably going to be a Heavy D 3 part Video where we need to for some reason bring in a 50 man crew helicopters, the HETT and more to complete an "impossible recovery". Trail mater recovers it in a standard 30 min video with a jeep and a squarebody... just doing what they do everyday. Refreshing to just want good honest content with out all of the cinematic BS.

    • I know it’s probably already been said in this thread, but I think it bears repeating. On KZhead drama is everything. Drama is what gets people watching. At least in most cases. I think one of the exceptions to that role might be vice grip garage, when it comes to car revivals. The reason for that is because Derek has a very dry sense of humor. He also works on older classic cars. Junkyard digs is another channel that does car rescues and car revivals. Those guys follow the same formula that vice script does. I actually heard them say that vice grip garage was actually one of their biggest motivations. They’ve worked together on a few different projects. Anyhow, my whole point with this statement was that people that watch KZhead love drama in all its forms. That’s why a lot of those more dramatic car rescue KZhead channels probably have more subscribers. Everybody loves a good action movie.
