They could make a good movie just from season 1 and make Avatar wan his own movie because the stories could fill enough time for standalone films while also building out the lore of the avatar series
I would just make a movie and start with season one training, ignore the half-baked forced love story, alter the focus of "pro bending" since, in the end, the entire tournament ended up serving no purpose except for the trio to meet and for a crowd to be present to show Amaon's ability. I would use the Zaheer arc for the entire main plot.
I believe it could it the fanbase scream for it long enough
I mean you can just use practical effects for raava and vaatu.

If they did make a live action version of LOK then they’ll have to make four seasons because there were four seasons of the animated version even though the last airbender had more episodes but less seasons 👍

Leave LoK alone we can’t trust anyone to do a live action properly, not with the two atla failures, they’d probably butcher korra being bi and erase her gritty badass, not taking no bullshit and her somewhat headstrong nature..
A live action ATLA doesn't seem possible either, judging by the last couple of attempts.
Hear me out: don't do season 2. Everyone universally hates it, even the die hards. Jump to season 3 instead. Just say a spirit portral opened for some reason in the center of the city, but Korra can't close it, so they blame her, thus kicking off her journey to find the new Airbenders.
I never understood the need to tell already told stories but with actors and computer graphics. If the point is to have real people because the acting feels more real, then the CGI takes you out of that realism entirely. I wish all that money and time were spent telling other stories that haven t been told yet.

A remake of Korra probably would be more interesting as it could perhaps fix the flaws of the original series. For example, it can do away with that convoluted love triangle lol. While I can see them trying to better set up the korra asami thing. I would have them go with the original twist they had for Asami where she turned out to be a villain, or just have her stay with Mako lol.

Animes like One Piece and Avatar, The Last Airbender became live action. im sure Legend of Korra will become live action as well in the future again. Sorry but everything you've said is nonsense. Korra would actually be cheaper to adapt then Avatar for a couple of reasons and Rava and Vatu are one of them. Vatu and Rava would be cheap to implement because they're put in locations that would have all the complicated blending of objects far in the background where they don't interact so there's no expensive time consuming work for them to do. Then there's the fact that Korra's story is primarily set in Republic City where as Avatar is a globe trotting story so Korra will save money by just having a singular set to rely on.

Or! Here me out now, just spitballing. They could come up with a completely new story in the universe!! 👀👀👀 I don't get the appeal for retelling stories we already know. Do something new!!
I don't get why people hate LOK so much. Yeah, Aang was a kid and ended a whole war, but Korra is also still young and had to take on so much more than Aang did with more advanced technology. The real reason it isn't liked is because it's different, but that's because Korra is not Aang, and you don't see much of your loved characters. This is commonly seen in shows where you fall for the characters. Lok isn't a bad show; you just wanted something like ATLA, and the next Avatar won't be what you are looking for either since a lot of you fell for ATLA as a kid and watched LOK when you were older.
So you think cgi is the hold back. Go watch the transformer movies and tell me cgi isnt up to the task. Its the artist not the brush that results in terrible art.
They are saying that the budget for those effects would be the hold back. Netflix isn't likely to have the same budget for an expensive show that paramount has a transformer's film 🤔.
@@CLDJ227 those movies are very old and have you seen what amateur and hobbiest are creating with blender. Its a piss poor excuse amd exactly the kind of well off the mark i expect from screen rants. The hold ups on LOK would be the fan hesitation based on poor track records for this sort of conversion and i would say the forced gay love story in a kids show but that a selling point these days.
@@wittyjoker4631 Those movies aren't that old lol, and I was just making the point that I can see what they mean about the CGI. To recreate the spirit world, vatuua and rava, and the big spirit battle convincingly would take a lot of money and time that Netflix might be hesitant to finance but anything is possible 🤔. Have a blessed one.
@@CLDJ227 a color shift is a very easy effect near zero dollars. Some decent green screen a few grand. Some solid cgi a bit more but not even close to being the bank breaking amount suggested here. And as far as tech goes yes the first transformer movie is practically ancient.
