MAJOR RESPONSE to OFFICER DOWN - Unmarked Police Cars Responding in CONVOY!

2021 ж. 24 Мау.
199 083 Рет қаралды

Multiple Police cars including a very unusual sight of a pretty ancient unmarked 2008 Vauxhall Astra and Ford Galaxy from the Matrix Team are seen responding URGENTLY to an assistance call from a BTP officer in distress pressing her panic button in Liverpool!
Very surprised to see that some of these older cars are still being used!
Thankfully nobody was badly hurt.
This compilation also features many other Police cars including Armed Response Vehicles and Traffic cops from Merseyside Police, Cheshire Police, Greater Manchester Police, Fire Engines and trucks from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, aswell as Ambulances from the North West Ambulance Service!
North West, England, UK 🇬🇧

  • That 2008 Astra is a weird one. Esp with it being a 3 door and having limited lighting (no headlamp flashers). Its unusual to see police vehicles older than about 6 years let alone 12+! Vauxhall did not supply many 3 door SXi Astras to the police I can tell you that! Its a rare beast.

    • It's pathetic that such a response happened even though "nobody was hurt". The suspect was possibly hurt by the police and then covered up, you know what police can be like when "one of their own" has been "attacked". Pack animals and bullies. Strangely enough, the police don't seem to give the same response to normal citizens who have been seriously hurt and are in need of help. When you call the police they are usually nowhere to be seen, unless it's one of their "informants", but when it's one of the cops own in "trouble", the cops are quick to rush to the seen ASAP, sometimes in multitudes. So much police officers, emergency service and police resources are being wasted on this when they should be making it available for circumstances of extreme importance. You can't judge every case like this, as this could be the exception, but the exception proves the rule.

  • 0:15 & 1:04 i don't see how these vehicles passed ready for service? lighting setup is really poor, firstly every response vehicle needs some sort of high up lighting such as lightbar or LEDs in top of windows because lights on the grill or fog lights are too low down for trucks and jeeps or simply high up cars to see them and sirens have no effect until close up, for example imagine you're driving a range rover and look behind you and see that Astra how would you know its even a police car? all you would hear is a siren and you'd have no idea where its coming from! yet the police moan about the lack of awareness from the public yet drive vehicles like that around which to me is a worse setup than ones you can buy off ebay yourself lol.

    • @@dragonemergencyvideos All our PCs are trained in response driving not just traffic, so all our general duties cars must have the capability of response driving at 100mph with lights & sirens. It is a legislative requirement that all polices meet minimum standards. Traffic & other specialist operations Have higher standards again.

  • Shame that they aren't so quick to react to a call from the public, what is the response we get"an officer will attend when he's got time"in other words don't bother expecting any help from them!. By the way the old Astra you saw is what they use for the public response!.

    • @@James-ke9svHe wasn't referring to none emergency cases, so what's your point? The person you are replying to had literally just said that in times of emergency the police only respond "in their own time", using out of date car models. I'm pretty sure he's referring to cop cars that get used for public responses in times of emergency, surely if you had common sense you would have already understood the context that he had specified.
