You gotta play the full 60 vs. Colorado. They have 21 come from behind wins this season. This was their Third 3+ goal comeback. The team plays with confidence when down and doesn't seem to panic. They have the talent to erase multi-goal deficits at any point during the game. Hopefully Vancouver learned a lesson during this one.
Hope the team learns, but fans are only whining and complaining, very pathetic

@@tannerglenn4508Yes they do miss calls but that was a blatant hit to the head and was called that. Should have initially given five minutes and then reviewed it and reduced it if warranted, which it wasn’t. Look back at the 5 and games that Myers and Zadorof got a few weeks ago, that’s exactly what was done. Yes Makar got pulled down but Hughs also got jobbed on the interference. I don’t think anyone can argue the reffing has been good or consistent this year. Canucks lost because they quit skating in the third and perhaps got a bit gun shy on penalties as well.

They Really want to Win the Cup this Year to Prove that 2022 wasn't a one time thing, that this is a Dynasty in the Making.
Avs are a great team. Full marks for the win and what they've accomplished. But a gap of two years without a cup means not a dynasty. Dynasty literally means in a row. There hasn't been a true dynasty in the NHL since the Islanders in the 80's. The Oilers get tossed in because a gap was small between back to backs on two occasions. Even two in a row shouldn't be called a dynasty. If the Avs win three straight cups then you can call them a dynasty.

Let's go AVS 🎉
This Avalanche team looks like they might be back to tournament worthy. Last year felt like they were too dependent on their superstars, and they got humiliated in the 1st round. This year has looked the same. The first line and top D-pair have more points than the rest of the roster combined, and Rantanen and MacKinnon are the only forwards in the league to make the list of the top 50 skaters in TOI/G. This year they made some huge moves at the trade deadline to not only add scoring depth, but also some hard hitting -- both invaluable to take a serious run at the cup, and both on display in this game.
yeah, since Johansen never fit and Bednar couldnt trust him we essentially had 1st line, a 2nd line with a 3rd liner as a C and then a 3rd line. no matter who Johansen played with he was an anchor. not to mention they are missing Lehkonen, Drouin from the top 6 and a few other pieces. but adding Mitts has made the offense look like 2022 again where as swapping Byram for Walker hasnt made them look any worse on D. Trenin and Duhaime fit right in and made their PK + Depth alot better from game 1. I’m just glad the 2C is finally solved and the anchor in Johansen is gone. now players slot into the right lines, and they play the top line barely 20mins, which is down alot from almost 23mins for Rantanen. the ability to roll all 4 lines.. the only weakness or questionmark is in the net. but that was the case in 2022 and ended up fine. if disaster strikes, you give Annunen a try- he’s shown progress
Михеев забил наконец-то!А Вэл ему -"А так умеешь?"
After the first Avalanche goal, the Canucks were already freaked out. They were so scared to lose the lead and the stress finally broke them. They kept taking stupid penalties and failed to clear the puck out of their zone. They should celebrate to be able to get a point out of this game. Petterson just couldn’t win any puck battle at all. Sadly, he couldn’t even stand on his feet. Really wonder how he can survive in the playoffs. I believe all teams from the west would like to face the Canucks in the opening round, as I honestly believe they can’t handle the high pressure games.
Agreed... I was at the arena and when we allowed that goal in the last seconds, I realized that this was the beginning of the end...

Those Avs sure have a knack for drawing penalties. Mack is spending more time on the PP than almost anyone else in the league. That’s a dangerous combo.
They draw a lot of hooking and tripping penalties because of the speed Mackinnon has on the breakaway. It is better to cause a penalty and let the PK do its job than give up a breakaway goal
