Ahahah I have hearing loss so everything I hear scares me, because I can't figure out what the sound was to save my life, I actually feel better when the headphones block all sounds, got tired of being scared when it's most likely nothing 😂😂
Since COVID-19 I've been living with my family again (I was living in a different town to go to college before) and now I feel I can't live without my noise-cancelling headphones. I love not hearing people. If we ever get out of this situation, I'm gonna use my headphonesall the time, specially in the student apartment I live in so I can't hear my roommates and their awful music, their talks about witches and ghosts, the stories about their love lives and all the noise they make in my window (because mine is in the patio they sit in with their friends). Sorry about the vent, I just want peace 😭

I used to use my noise-canceling headphones all the time when I was living with my parents, but now that I live alone I’m convinced I can’t use them because I wouldn’t hear ANYTHING. Like, fire alarm, someone knocking on the door, someone trying to murder/abduct me, etc... so I feel you on this one

I've fallen down the stairs 2 times in my life and now every time I encounter stairs I race up the stairs and gentley, slowly, walk down the stairs in an attempt to not break my neck one day.
@@Jecole77 I fallen up stairs almost as many times as I've fallen down stairs. I've also had a ball start rolling up the hill from standing. This hill is steep enough that there's a 2.5ft high retaining wall between yard, this was no illusion.
I have carpeted stairs and i have fallen down them and gotten mildly serious injuries 5 times. Its just common practice now, my parents dont even ask if im ok anymore
Speaking of home alone and dying... I was home alone last night, I mean my two kids were sleeping but they can’t exactly fight off an intruder😂 anyway, my cat was flat out asleep across my legs, next minute she’s bolt upright ears flat and growling, I panicked and grabbed the closest thing to me (a lamp?!) turns out it was my other cat, stupid animal😂

I literally did the same thing in May, only one step but onto a concrete floor. My foot is mostly okay now

I literally bought the pack just for that shower and use it all the time. It's the best because sims can walk under it and it saves space and isn't blocky and weird haha

Sometimes I feel like the anxiety you and me have is stupid and not really anxiety. My entire family is tired of me asking for constant reassurance. But reading these comments, and listening to your stories...I realize that what I feel is at least somewhat validated.
i just thought of a story after hearing about kayla’s. so i’m going up the stairs to go to third period english class, when i loose my footing and fall up the stairs. i was even holding the handle. i was super embarrassed because there were boys behind me and they kinda made fun of me. but wait, i’m not done yet. i’m sitting in english and my friend comes up to me and asks why my knuckles are bleeding. i didn’t even realize that i scraped my hand on the brick wall when i fell, and i still have scars on my hand today. in retrospect i find this funny 😂

Oasis springs reminds me a lot of this little place in Nevada. It's a oasis with a little town right by it. Pretty much the center of this town is a gas station with a sculpture of 2 dinosaurs. Even the many smaller houses and trailers. The area looks just like the place.
I totally understand Kayla, at the beginning of the year my over-ears broke (they were smaller ones that just sit on your ear not completely engulfing it) after 10? years and I then had to use my in-ears with cable I bought 2 or 3 years ago and only really used when commuting on the train. Neither of them were really noice cancelling. Now I got bluetooth in-ears because those others broke too a few weeks back and that's just like a whole new world! It was so weird in the beginning not having to take out the earbuds just to get something to drink from the kitchen. I got used to them being somewhat noice cancelling, but it's not like my brother's massive over-ear ones, those are weird and it's freaky not hearing the outside world. But yeah, until last October I only had LAN at home and once I had wifi that really changed things as well, suddenly being able to use the phone or tablet to watch shows or listen to podcasts while doing household stuff! And now that I have those bluetooth earbuds it's gotten even more convenient.
You know, anyone who isn't a fan of her would probably say I'm weird that every one of her videos cheer me up, her stories can be kinda random sometimes but they're fun to hear.

tl:dr: Stressful experience, I went to lay down and my TV wanted to kill me Most stressful "just trying to relax" experience I had was after an already annoying day, I lay down to rest, want to just watch some Netflix to settle down, and my TV/monitor decided then to short and start burning. The cord literally melted in my hands when I unplugged it. Not pleasant, probably almost set something on fire

Try your weighted blanket under your comforter or duvet cover! It won’t shift around as much and then less of a risk of your laptop diving off the bed. I put mine under my duvet because I don’t like looking at it, but it really helps me sleep because I have super bad anxiety!
I rly like that ur so open about ur anxiety, I can relate to it. I do have ocd and and other things that came with it, but that's ok. Trying my best:) And ya, last week my kitty broke my headphones too:))))
what you said about the headphones... sammme! when I am laying in bed I can only have one headphone in my ear or else the tiniest little sound makes me have to pause whatever I'm listening to and sit there listening for like five minutes. also, I just get stressed that something is happening without me knowing because for some reason I feel it necessary to know everything that is happening in the world at all times.
You could get a duvet cover for your weighed blanket - add some extra decoration to your room and it wouldn't be slippery any more

Possible Oasis Springs dinosaur explanation:: there's a place close to Indio/Palm Springs CA that looks exactly like this! It's out in the desert and there's an inn out, gas station, and a restaurant with dinosaur statues outside. It's my favorite place to stop on road trips to California. I'm pretty sure Oasis Springs is modeled after Palm Springs, hence the name similarity as well.

Weighted blankets are the best!😍 And most of them have the cooling effect because the weight comes from tiny glass marbles and they dont heat up during the summer so they stay cool!
