UPSC fact #71: In a village named Bharatpur, Radha, who was married to Heera Thakur, completed her IAS studies after becoming a mother. She left her village to prepare for UPSC, successfully passed the exam, and ended up becoming the collector of her own district. Radha’s father-in-law Thakur Bhanu Pratap, who previously disowned her and his son Heera because they got married against his will, was so impressed by her achievement that he accepted them.

  • Stumbled upon this series and started watching. Reminds me of the days I spent preparing for CSS (Central Superior Services) - Pakistani version of UPSC. I gave up after the first attempt in 2013. If the goal is only to serve the nation, we can do that in many other ways as an individual. Patience, perseverance and dedication from the first episode is not only needed for UPSC, but also in our daily life for the nation-building. May India and Pakistan resolve all the issues and work together to build a better future. Good luck to all the UPSC aspirants. ~ Well wishes from Pakistan

  • Mera ek school friend tha. Usne mujhe looser bola tha because mae Medical Exam nahi nikal paaya. Today I am working as Branch Manager in one of the Top most Nationalised Bank and my friend is running a rented Sweet n Bakery shop. He left no stone unturned to demoralise me at every step so that I could also be a "failure" 😁. He was like my best friend. But we are not in talking terms past 10+ years. Life is like this.   • The best character ---SK Sir. A very positive man,matured and one who knows life. Whether or not he cleared UPSC CSE ,he is a successful man, because his success was always in his own hands.He knew how to take life as it comes it's way. An amazing personality. And I had a great smile when he overexcitedly recited his poem lines with anuradha ma'am. He was great when he was an aspirant and even when he became their guide.   • Watching it for 2nd time after watching 12th fail and aspirants 2nd season. This series is scripted and executed so brilliantly. Continuity and back forth screenplay intertwined amazingly and background music is also inspiring

  • Her speech makes me grateful for my failures. I wanna be a teacher but not confident for it because of my failures and the way I am. But no more now...
