I just downloaded the ILHA pattern and am looking forward to making it. I have some Jody Long My Little Sunshine easy care organic cotton blend yarn that I am hoping to use. I tried to order the yarn you suggest but was having issues with a cart error. I also didn’t know how much to order and would definitely try to order some as I do love wearing cotton as I am very sensitive to wool and have to be careful even with a superwash merino. Thank you for any suggestions you may have and looking forward to starting this sweater soon.

Happy Pod Anniversary 🎉 Excellent podcast Bobby! I have knit the Ilha and love it and will definitely knit another one. It was my find last year when I was looking for the “next Ranunculus” like you 😊 I am surprised how often I wear my DK weight long sleeve summer yarn sweaters. If you are looking for a really reasonable priced summer yarn, I would recommend the Drops Belle. It is half the price of Tine Line and exactly the same blend of yarns in it. Not as many colours available though. I would recommend you purchase the 3.0mm tips for your set of Chiaogoo…..keeps all options for knitting open 😁and a lot of Petite Knit patterns use them. Regarding the Spincycle yarn, They don’t hand spin it anymore like they did at the very start of their company. I do think they still hand dye the Fibre before it goes in the spinning mill. Oh my gosh! Six Ranunculus. That’s amazing. I really love that pattern. The Ilha pattern is so easy! I’m working the textured chart right now. When you stated you were knitting Apline bloom size 1 with only one skein of spincycle I cringed (I test knit size one and had to dip into a second skein). Oh my gosh! You are right! 2 skeins are definitely needed for the Alpine Bloom sweater. I just filmed Episode 17 and I talk about how much Spincycle yarn is needed for this pattern. Beautiful dumping bag! I’m participating in this KAL too. You’ve inspired me to keep up with my dumpling WIP. I caked up this yarn twice and soaked it in wool wash to soften up, but it still has a mind of its own. I’m going to keep going - you’re embroidering is so cute! 😊

The lace on the sweater sleeve. Why not just turn the lace pattern/chart upside down and just knit it on the sleeve?

I am new to color work. I have seen KZhead videos where the dominate color is held in one hand and the coordinate in the other. Is that how you do it?
