Don't you just love how calm and sensible Highland Cattle are? Gorgeous looking beasts.
Its nuts are gigantic. Imagine having nuts like that.. 2 Basketballs flopping around in your shorts all days. You wouldnt have to do weighted squats anymore, just use your nuts lol
@@JonHop1 wtf
@@MrMOd3RnW4rF4R3 lol
Sensible? They're daft! You've not met many I reckon
@@readingwithric6588 Even Highland Bulls are pretty gentle, I'm pretty sure that's what he meant.
Oh lordy! I had to laugh when he walked into the paddock with all the girls. He takes like, 4 steps in, then he stops and poses.... "I am the BULL. Admire me." And I swear, you could almost hear them all squeal " FRANKIE!! "
Deborah Armstrong Hahah Love this!!! 😂
Good one 😂🤣😂
More like ARE YOU READY FOR FREDDY?!
Just like every nightclub across the land at the weekends 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I could almost hear the ladies giggle "teeheehee!" when they ran away from him!
Why nobody washed those bull/cows butts it looks very poo poo 😕💩
They are indeed saying Teeheehee! They are also saying “Catch me if you can!”.
@@joejoemorechrist6886 They love pop-poo bums! You can tell a lot by sniffing one of those (if you are a bull).
I was thinking the same thing ! Lol 🤣🤣

This bull reminded me of one joke..... Young man runs up to a farmer and asks him if he could run over his field, because he has to catch a bus that leaves in 10 minutes. And the old wise farmer said: of course you can, and if my bull sees you, you will even catch the bus that leaves in 2 minutes :D
😁😁😁😁👌👍👍
Three bulls hear the news of a new bull arriving. Two bulls say, " When he gets here he will have to find his own cows, we are not sharing. The third bull says nothing. So the day finally comes for the new bull to arrive. The bulls see the biggest truck they have ever seen. The gate drops and the biggest bull they have ever seen emerges. They have an instant change of heart. Both say, " You know I think I can share my cows after all . " To their amazement the third bull tears out into the pasture pawing and snorting. The two say, " What in the world are you doing, that bull will tear you to pieces. " The third bull says, " I'm not worried about that, I just want him to know I'M A BULL... "
@@lesmach6495 what?
@@leaschmitt2496 Well he didn't want to be mistaken for a cow. It's a stupid joke. I know a real bull can tell a cow from a bull. Please I beg your pardon.
@@leaschmitt2496 Bull wanted to let the new one know he isn't a bitch like his two mates.
Not sure how this video turned up in my feed but credit to this Son who is taking on his family farm AND producing and presenting interesting and fascinating content.
Thankyou so much 😊
I love that the big horse was hiding a smaller horse
😂😂
What a gorgeous bull, great temperament too. Betting he will produce some gorgeous calves.
2 am. my eyeballs are stinging and I'm lying in the dark listening to this guy waffling about farm animals. Something's amiss in my life.
I'm experiencing the exact same problem.
The stinging eyeballs is such a mood 😂
Mood. Literally, the cows mooed.
Same here!
I am experiencing the same issue, however it’s now 5am and I’m considering my life choices. I love these animals however I have no connection to them. What went wrong? My daughter will be awake soon lol

I live in the very south of the Isle of Man. Our main farmer in the village has been breeding Highland cattle for a few years and has a handsome herd, including bull. It's lovely to see how many people stop to watch this wonderful lot just doing what they do. The farmer herds many of them along the roads some miles up the mountain to some more distant pastures in the summer, with a few going off to the fields around the lighthouse on the south eastern tip of the island. This lighthouse pasture involves driving them past the ancient castle in Castletown, and they all make a very picturesque scene at those times. In fact last year the BBC even featured them.

USA here..just stumbled on this channel..That is one massive guy..( the 4 legged one)..ANYONE WITH A FARM NO MATTER HOW LARGE OR SMALL PLEASE keep on farming..don't give it up to all the craziness in the world..as always prayers and blessings to all
I actually want to get into farming because of all the craziness of this world. I know it's not like Charlotte's Web. Its a hard hard line of work. Any advice on the first steps for a basic redneck to become a genuine farmer?
Your cow farm is great, I love the way you have taken care of the cows' habitat
Scottish Highland are majestic creatures & funny characters. I have Scottish Highland and Belted Galloway cattle. Wonderful, hardy cattle with a survival gene like no other. Tough animals I've learned since my first 3 in 2005. Cheers from Upstate New York USA!
He is a eye catcher I love the Scottish Highlands they are absolutely beautiful cows so fluffy
I think the girls like him!!!beauty!!
Love this video because my dad who was a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia decided that land was more safe than the Atlantic and moved us to a B.C. ranch. This is where I seen my first Scottish highlander! Never forgot how beautiful they were!
That's a change, going from the Atlantic to BC!! We love the highlands so much we had to get some too!
He's in the field for almost no time at all & already has groupies. LOL
Groupies! Lol! They should change his name to Elvis or better yet, Fabio, with the big chest and hairdo he has going on! He looks like the strong silent type my mother warned me about. She said that it's the quiet ones you have to look out for...especially if they have giant sharp horns and can bench press a Volkswagon! I wonder how many times the owners have heard: "That's a lot of bull!"
Just found you guys. I paint these amazing beasts from my studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Saw my first one in Culloden in Inverness years ago.
Watching you attempt to put in the horses really cracked me up! Half expected you to throw a bone to see if that would work....😀
😂😂😂 horses don't understand arm signals for cows and sheep.

Moretti has a swagger! I love it!
Yeah, a SERIOUS swagger .... he walked like he owned that farm and everything on it, so confident and casual! Loved it!
@@teresahiggs4896 He did own it.
I remember as a young lad going to stay with my gran up in Tain in the north of Scotland to help on the farm where she had over 1000 of these beautiful animals she had one bull called Angus who was just a little bigger than this boy he was my favorite he was so friendly and would be waiting at the gate every morning for me I miss those days Rip Gran
WOW. Morrti is a huge Highland bull. I love Highland cattle. They are such a docile and easy going breed. Morrti has a nice set of horns too.
Tom. I do enjoy seeing your vids. When I was a little one, my first pet was a heifer I named Buttons. Takes me back...55 yrs ago now. I liked seeing Heidi helping out. She's a breath of fresh air. God bless from Ohio!
What a nice name, Buttons
@@beaulieuonnp593. Thanks. I was just about 4.
Your pet was a cow mine was a white mouse that died the next day.
All the girls teasing the new fella, he’s a massive unit....be careful what you wish for ladies!
Ya hopefully hes not breeding any first calf heifers!
I,m a far cry from humble beginnings. To think I watched 100s of hours of dancing chihuahua videos, and now this. My great great grandparents would be proud.
Hey Tom that hoof guy sent me here and I'm glad he did.. great farm and great addition... whatta bull!! Thanks for inviting us into your world.
That bull is the bovine version of brad Pitt handsome 😂👍
Mark: I disagree. More like Donald Trump. 😜
LOL
Mark Philpott No he is the bull version. Definitely not look bovine.
He’s got Larry David’s balls.

Oh wow, that is one heck of a bull, such a handsome fellow, well done Mr Pemberton snr, you have a good eye for a nice beast!
The ladeez are definitely impressed
Loved that he named his highlands Meghan and Kate. I am new to this channel. Does he have others that he named Camilla and Elizabeth? BTW, that's not a bull. That's a BULL! The way the ladies are following him around if these were my cattle I would name him Piper. And I loved how the sheep at 12:54 appeared to have been saying, "Hurry up and get the heck out of here. We don't want him to see us!"

Wow Tom how different does the farm look here 😮 just shows how far you’ve come and what phenomenal progress you’ve made ❤
Thanks mate, we are trying 🙈
AWESOME! It is a GREAT learning opportunity! AND I think it is GREAT you share this with the WORLD!
Watching you try to round up those two around 4:00 made me wonder if you have ever considered getting a cattle dog? I'm very new to the channel, so IDK what you have or haven't done or if you don't like cattle dogs. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. My neighbors up the road have two that are trained to run and get behind the cows, but not touch them. Some people will train their dogs to nip at the cows feet, but it's really unnecessary for what they do. The cows don't want to go near the dogs and they move away from the dogs without nipping lol. They can move so much faster than we, as humans, can :).
god bless you for taking so good care of your animals
Hello Heidi. Nice vid, wish we saw more horses i love them! 8:44 look at the horse galloping in the back, so amazing!
I love Moretti what an amazing specimen. My grandfather in Costa Rica used to have these two enormous brahma bulls, Donesco and Montesco and they were spectacular. I love your channel and you my friend have just gained another subscriber. Cheers
I don't know how safe I would feel walking around those horned beasts
Love seeing all your animals looking well fed and happy! They all seem to enjoy living with you!
but with dirty asses
Ur new bull is AWSOME, congrats. When he swaggered through the pasture "Hello Ladies." And the Ladies were like "Hey Baba!"
He looks like he just stepped out of a cave painting.
Totally right!
Just funny commentary
Your cows just sent megawatts of happiness all the way to my little heart in the Dairy State (Wisconsin, US). Thank you for sharing them.
Only just found your site Tom Pemberton, and love it. Worked on farms in the south West as variously an animal health rep and then agronomist for c28+ years. Your vlog reminds me of many good times (also so wet and cold!) . Sorry about Neptune, but it was the kindest thing to do. Thanks again. Best wishes from Cornwall👍
I don’t farm, but I love watching your videos cause it reminds me of my gramma, she was from Scotland. I’ve been there and it’s so beautiful
loved it! The younger bulls reacted to the mature bull like my standard poodle did when he met his 1st mature male dog that was still intact! They are using mature bull elephants to control the early musth in younger elephants! Nothing like a full grown bull to keep the youngsters in line! The animals have that right!
'My name is Ozymandias, look on my works ye mighty and despair' What a gorgeous and good natured boy! 🥰😘😚😙
Love your contagious happiness. Love the videos and all your gruelling hard work. Love the brushes. Hats off to you!!!!!! Love your choice of music.
Nothin's as adorable as a wee highland Coo. Like massive teddy bears.
Love the Highlands! So so beautiful! Great music by the way!
I love watching and learning ! Thank you so much for sharing !!
I really hope you inspire more people to become farmers. This channel is great keep it going!
I like him so much! And his passion!
You’re living the life family. God be with you.
I'm exhausted just watching you work!!! Wow! You live in a little piece of heaven! I love the Highland cattle and the beautiful landscape. Cheers!
That bull looks amazing! I have always been fascinated by the Highlands! Love watching the videos
That mother like a tank Damn he's huge he got control as soon he came in he's the master of the house know just saying
Morrti is quite impressive and the ladies think so too. They can't stop themselves from following behind him. Too cute.
I like to watch your videos. Very glad that real farms still exist.
Wow those cows were very happy to be loose :) Oh My Gosh that bull is massive ! . The ladies seem to like him :) Thank you for the video . We had a wee hobby farm growing up you could have put it inside your barn easily lol. My Gran was from Scotland as was my Mom (she came from Inverness so the highlands(the cows ) are lovely to see. :)
Holy moly He's huge
Is he ever.
What's good about these lovely videos of yours is that people can get a tiny idea of how much work is involved in a farmer's BUSY day
This is a real farm!!Very good to see your animals how live a healty happy life...respect
Love those Highland cattle. I’m Scottish Diaspora, my 6 times Grandfather came from the land in Laggan My sister breeds Polly Grey Brahmans and has always had Cattle Dogs, and my Brother in law has Droughtmasters. As you have guessed we are in Australia. I think you need a dog to work the cattle as they look like they get a bit cheeky with you.
I got halfway through reading and went “fellow Aussie!!” Would love to have more Aussie you tubers :)
Awe he looks so chill and content🥰
there was lots of calm and good behavior when the big bull arrived 😅
Morrti at 13:00 is like "BEHOLD MY MAJESTY!!!"
Those cows ain't saying no to him.
I'm looking forward to find them in the Miami Florida area. I have a feeling the milk of this cows may very well improve our hair health in the scalp.
Highlands are my favourite breed, they’re so majestic. 😁
Great informative video there’s soo much that goes on at the farm to keep all the animals happy Great job 😎
I love this Highland Bull, you can see he is a gentle giant. Him and the young female almost kissed hello - nose 2 nose! And then when he has walked into the centre of the padlock he looks up and smells the sweet air of being somewhere different ... somewhere that smells and feels like home? Such a wise beautiful soul, that one. Long REIGN the Highland Cattle Clan!
Ok dear. Good Love you See carefully, these cows look like Pig-Cow crossed generation.
Tom trying to move the horse at first 😂😂😂😂 “not like that” creasing
Next time I hear about someone being pregnant, I’ll respond with “congratulations, you’ve been served.”
Ha funny

Why nobody washed those bull/cows butts it looks very poo poo 😕💩

Oh, you've been served - when meeting a pregnant woman in the grocery store lol
I like the way the cows all come and take a sniff of the bull. You can tell they are excited
Tom, I love your choice of music for your video’s. Great choices. That is one big boy.
"OK, so that's how you move horses: through bribery" :-) 1:59
Tom, I got connected to you through the HoofGP, and I am glad that I did. I still treasure the 6 weeks I spent on my uncle's dairy farm in northern Wisconsin when I was in high school. Thanks very much for posting these videos, as they show people what being a dairy farmer is all about.
Thank you for these videos, they are great. The music is perfect. Very upbeat and not annoying at all. I simply love how the girls have a true appreciation of the male physique! I raise horses, the stallions never break out, it's the girls breaking in to get to the boys.
The same thing happens with Highland cattle if the cow doesn’t like the choice of bull. She’ll head down the road to the neighbors farm if given the slightest chance.
Is nice to be free! Those horses are happy! Thank you for the video.
Oh you are going to get some great progeny from him! Love how he just walks in and owns the place!
He's like the Paul Bunyan of bulls. Big and proud with confidence
I wasn't a sub yet back in August so I am just now (November) getting caught up, but GOOD LORD, THAT BULL! The big fellow looks...erm...very competent! Love the way he was slowly striding around the pasture!
Awesome looking Highland Bull. You now have the makings for a nice herd of Highland cattle. Enjoy
The most beautiful bulls I have ever seen .
Thumbs up for Heidi! I don't care who you are, everyone needs to get out and work some stock. Cows, horses, sheep and goats all have their own challenges. If you follow life like a young "old grump" like me you will find people fit into cows, horses, sheep, or goats. Walk into an office and cut them out, sort them, and then be happy.
I can’t get over how thick with grass and no weeds those pastures are! Beautiful!
I worked on a farm and in a large castle garden, also herded sheep. It's a good life! Now i live in a city. It was fun for a few years but i feel the people consume each other in a way. I am trying to head back to country life :)
Brilliant ...... big bull bloody big horns 😂😂😂 ginger warrior does it again
cracking looking bull that Tom im sure you will get some cracking calves from him
Aye nice quite bull too
Great camera work. Your drone is quite handy. Good on you.
I enjoyed this video! I live animals but haven't been around livestock! I appreciate wht you do! Thank you for a great experience!!
I love Highland cows. I came into contact with them about 25 years ago, where a hobby farmer in northern Germany had them on the pasture all year. It was one of the most beautiful sights watching them around Christmas in thick heavy snow; giant, gentle ginger beasts with huge horns calmly going about their business, not caring about snow or cold one bit. Oh, and their milk and meat were spectacularly good!
aaaarghh02 I’m looking forward to get photos of them in the snow again 😀
I love the calves so much
The hoof whisperer brought me here 😂 ...those ladies were trippin' 😂😂
