    • I never paid, but when they first switched to on-demand I did use the app because you could watch all previous seasons and the current season with a 3 week delay and the only cost was ads. I completely stopped though when they added three 15 second ads every 5 minutes, it was unbearable (same exact ads every time). Shortly after they did this, they then locked all previous seasons, and only had one video available at a time which I think is 3 weeks before the current episode if i remember correctly. I don't know how they kept an audience and stayed afloat as I'd imagine they made a lot less money after completely cutting off ad revenue by removing free viewing and switching to pay to watch which not many people seemingly did.

  • Side note not only are Hmmwv wheels run flats, the run flat inserts also push outwards on the bead to help prevent a bead from popping off. Many people who run Hmmwv wheels on offroad vehicles take a sawzaw to the run flat portion and retain the extra bead protections. Downside the 16.5 sizing but intercotire does still offer a wide selections of tires in 16.5. Also if you find a wrecked duramax motor they are pretty much a direct swap you could also swap to a gasser pretty easy too.

  • Fun to see this. I live on the island of Guam and here we can get clean title for the road for these so they sell pretty steep (priced 10 to 20k lately) that said not many folks build them much further than wheels and small or big block chevy swaps. Something I am hoping to see is a rear steer conversion on one, as looking under them it's totally doable being it seems the rear suspension mirrors the front just add a ram, log truck bunk pins and a joystick?. If I personally owned one I would be looking to 4l80e conversion and a mild turbo setup. Later uparmored models came with factory turbos and there is a company making banks style kits for these now.

  • My first tour, we had a regular m1123, and the front springs were worn out. No bounce anymore, so we ordered springs for it. The only springs that were available at the time were up armour springs for the increased weight on the hmmwv. They were so stiff, the front end literally bounced on every bump. Almost like we replaced the front end with pogo sticks. It was a horrible ride but the lift it gave was def helpful. You bouncing across the bumps reminded me of that and I haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Hahahaha. That rig is cool man. Neither of the engines in those were worth much. I laughed pretty hard when he said give it the beans.... Down hill with a tail wind is the beans.
