It is hilarious to watch all these people go running as fast as they can to the accident and when each one of them gets there...... THEY DO NOTHING
they had to disconnect the positive battery terminal but it already burned through
love the fact that little tractor that rolled at the end was appropriately named out of control! 🤣
😎
12:39 -- I don't think I've ever seen a more aptly named vehicle in my entire life.
Darn! You beat me to the joke haha. I noticed the name and got a big smile!
you see a lot of named vehicles do ya?
@@joshthemediocre7824 -- Yes! I do! You do realize this is a *tractor pull...* where nearly *EVERYONE* names their vehicle. Or did that slip past you in your rush to smugly make your bid for 2021's _Pedantic Asshole of The Year Award?_

That dude that jumped the concrete barrier barely avoided very serious injuries, lucky and reactive as well.
Had to dodge the ram 😅

8:39 There are a little over 1800 rivets airbrushed on this beauty. This was when it destroyed the work of art on this New Holland Six Shooter. Thanks for posting this. The sheet metal is still there, but you can still see where this happened.
I've never seen indoor events that had venting for the exhaust. As a kid I saw sled pulls in the Astrodome in the 80s and 90s and they just let us breathe the exhaust in.

I'm impressed at the 3 minute response time from track safety.

@Dave Micolichek no but thousands of dollars of components and electrical will...
@Dave Micolichek thank you for proving my point lol
@Dave Micolicheklmao nevermind, you're clearly not bright enough to understand.
Dave Micolichek Nah, you’re really not getting it
I see a lot of unprepared staff at these events. Might be a good idea to have someone with a fire extinguisher who can run more than 20 feet.
Laughed way too much at this but agree, Marshall’s going to an engine fire and blowing on it lol
Yeah there are some fitness level issues.
@@Sterling_Archer777 - 4:34 - That was the best: Blowing on that fire .. what were they thinking? Were they thinking?
@@tubularap The fire is just excess oil and a fire extinguisher will cause a teardown and put most guys out for weeks. The fire isnt damaging anything.
@@kylecampbell1444 weeks? not from abc fire extinguishers. maybe if they cant afford to repair it for weeks. ive blown a couple motors and had my share of engine fires but never have i been "out for weeks". engine tear down and repair should only take maybe a day or 2.
Normal car people: yeah I put a hole through piston number two These guys: yeah I put a hole through engine number two
Maybe they should go back motors "101
You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not again 🤣🤣
6:40 you'd think people doing this at this level of competition would have a fire extinguisher somewhere instead of blowing on it like candles
You would think the owners of those vechiles will have fire suppression system like the drag racers have.. It like they do not car that there is a fire, just another day of defeating death..
6 Months of work, 60.000 grand, 6 seconds fun. I think I've found a new hobby :-)
I think the fun it in the building of it, the pull is just the exhibition
“Note to self: If tractors on fire... Put it out!” -Staff
A regular ABC extinguisher would ruin the engine. And the only dangerous fire is a gasoline fire, and these vehicles don’t use gasoline.
4:40 LMAO at the guy trying to blow the fire out.
I know right? They're on a dirt track....just grab fist fulls of track and throw it at the fire!

7:45 rumor has it that wheel is still rolling away to this day
jimmymarquez108 the announcer should have said.." heads up runaway wheel "
and the lug nuts are still in the toolbox.
The reaction time of that guy rolling for safety like a action movie.
It should have been an attempted murder charge!
6:41 The Hoyts told me they have big-time issues with the hood raising due to the force of the turbo and exhaust pipe during runs is why the side shields fall off. They also said their injector wires get absolutely mangled under the duress of a run. When you get on a bad set, you will see this for a few runs in a row until it gets worked out. Then they are good for a long while.

Sometimes it may be an actual photo we shot at the event and not from the actual video. Thats why it may be from the other side of the track. But we make sure its from the event thats featured.

As someone who grew up at the drag strip I really dont understand this sport. But it sure is entertaining!
Whoever pulls the thing farthest wins.
As a Canadian I don’t understand this sport either I went to the Champaign county fair in Illinois and it was awesome. Moral of the story you don’t need to understand it. It’s just badass in general
Wow, the itty bitty little tractor sure got the attention! I’ve never seen so many dudes run after a tractor like that.
"Stress Test" *explodes something* Perfect name.
No one ever talks about the guy in the sled and his feelings
The poor guy is constantly getting his chain yanked. 😆
@7:45 , well at least part of the tractor made it 300 feet, is that a win?????
That first one did a nascar move turn left.
0:59 you can see some fluid starting to leak on the left front tire from up in the fender well, which had something do to with the accident I'm sure. It pulled to that side and almost killed the flag man.
Good spotting
He should have let off long before he did.
Watch the passenger side front tire, the tie rod snapped causing the tire to tweak to the drivers side turning the truck into the wall

44werewolfnomore you can also see him trying to turn. With full hydro it’s free spinning with no fluid
I live here in California where we don't have any tractor pulls, because the drivers from the Midwest don't like to come out here and pull so far away from home. I do enjoy the videos at least it's something, I saw a tractor pull about 20 years ago, it is much more exciting to see it in person. They are never going to bring them out to California, so I guess I will just have to travel to see a live show.
They put hundreds of thousends of dollars into these tractors, But they can not put in a fire supression system, like the drag race cars have! ???
Just a Swede !! Ikr
Everything is about weight.
Most of these guys (minimal sponsors) are operating on a tight budget, with everything going into winning. Besides, a fire suppression system would seem somewhat unmanly. Few think that much about fires anyway. With the fuel used, it's just part of the game.
@Dave Micolichek .. Oh, I didn't know the driver and track personnel were all steel. That changes everything. Let it and them burn.
@Dave Micolichek .. Lol. Find a pulling event where they don't have fire safety equipment and you'll probably find that one person. However, you're saying don't worry about it, so I don't know what you're fussing about.
7:50 is that classify as a full pull if wheel makes it ?
Lmao. I never knew you could use your lawnmower for tractor pulls. And he flew off that....😀
10:20 - "Whoa! No fire extinguishers, please! Might ruin my engine!!"
why is it that there is always like 30 guys/gals that run on to the track and 95% of them are just standing there watching and getting in the way.
LIke Hockey never take your eyes of the action Great save
This! A fact. Even pullers need to keep eyes on the action and never turn your back on it.
Saw Phillip Jones from hunting town MD he was driving the tractor with the troll on it!He has a heavy equipment repair business! Stay safe people!
Damn. Someone got their shorts cleaned out quick

12:40 interesting how his tractors name was “Outta Control”. Coincidence? 🤷♂️
I saw that, too. Quite a fitting name.
Those fords make a nice pop when they blow.
Good video except for the lawn tractor. LOL!
Why do all the track people run over to everything WITHOUT a fire extinguisher?
Man, they can operate a whole season or more (hundreds of vehicles) without a single fire. Hell, it's so rare, most of them don't even remember where the fire extinguishers are, or whose job it is to get one. Besides, since the chemicals can really screw up an engine, fire extinguishers are a very last resort. Most owners would prefer they not be used.
At the risk of repeating myself from a different video, why are so many tracks not prepared for fire? Where are the extinguishers? So many track staff seem taken by surprise when fuel and oil burn!!
I agree with you, one thing to keep in mind is that some of the time they would prefer to let the fire go out on it's own instead of getting the ex. chemicals all over everything. and if it's pumping fuel out of a line or something you might as well let it burn itself out. Fire ex. does seem to be something they have never quite figured out in pulling but it's also fire and and an engine and happens different ways every time. and some of the fuel used is impossible to put out with a fire ex.
I film 4800 hooks a year 4+ leagues nearly only 100 things ever happen like this. It just isn't enough practice to be good at the thing. I have seen professional firefighters take 45 plus seconds to put out a fire. And I have seen freakish things that are stubborn to exhaust. Google chicken man keystone. It is the best. You just cannot know how you will react in a situation until it happens.
WWPTV yes that is true I pull garden tractors and I’ve seen some fairly suped up tractors and never once seen a fire but always hunts in case we have extinguishers on the side of the track
Both PPL and NTPA Officials use "StopFyre" Extinguishing Systems. It puts out the fire, prevents re-ignition and leaves NO Residue. It works on the Principle of the old HALON systems. A lot of the Pullers have them in their vehicles too!!
