This scene really showed us the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is. Always taking care of everything, even for a small things, like helping grandma for direction. Homecoming is the most underrated Spider-Man movie.
I hated Tony Stark being a villain in Homecoming, so for me, it's the weakest film of the trilogy.

He was ignoring/ghosting Peter for MONTHS, kept crucial info from him, made Peter think that noone cared about weapons in his neighbourhood so he had to do something about it himself, then he sabotaged Peter's mission with FBI and then he had the audacity to punish him for something what was completely and entirely Tony's own fault. And he also created Vulture and was responsible for both Washington and Staten Island Ferry incidents.

You do see Remis spiderman quipping and interacting with civilians. Here they used it more as a replacement of Peter discovering his powers since they skipped the origin story. He literally can't save the day yet thats why hes helping old ladies cross the street.

I kind of wish that they had more scenes like this, just Peter going out and interacting with New York. Instead of going out and saving the day. This movie showed more to Peters life. In the sequel, there wasn't much. It kind of got too involved around the MCU, I know he's in MCU. But I wanted him to do his own thing. But we might get some more because the sequel was just the second step to his story :)
i agree far from home was funny and pretty solid but there was little heart to it. nwh was just fucking amazing. I think we’re gonna get a lot more of those “interacting” moment in the next trilogy
@Job van der Peijl Yes!! No Way Home had EVERYTHING I wanted to see in Peter, so many missing peaces in a puzzle and some of it are now found and put together in the movie! I can't wait to see if they ever make more!

Not only he did all that but he saved Iron Man in Avengers: Infinity war when Cull Obsidian was about to hit Iron Man with his hammer but then Tom’s Spider-Man came in to save Tony. AND TOMS SPIDER-MAN ALSO HELP SAVE HALF OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!! Not only Tom is a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man but he is also the most accurate interpretation of Peter Parker. He’s just a kid from queens, when he first appeared in civil war Peter was just 14 and already was able to create web shooters, the web fluid and was able to make his lenses move on his mask which Tobey and Andrew did not do. Tom’s by far the most smartest by making his web fluid and creating cures for the villains in NWH. Tom’s Peter was also on the academic decathlon team and he was the most smartest one out of all the students and he barely even attended do to being Spider-Man. Before anyone says Tom is an Iron boy jr, Tom’s Peter never wanted help from Tony Stark . In civil war he said he doesn’t want to go to Germany and has homework but he was forced into going by a billionaire, he never asked for any suits he just got them handed to him. He even told Ned how he is sick of being treated like a kid by Tony Stark, then when Karen tells Peter that he has all these different web combinations he tells her to go back to the normal one, intending he never liked how it has all these different features. He even says “Mr. Stark really went overboard.” Then in infinity war he got rid of the A.I and went back to how the suit was originally. Then in Far from home Happy tells Peter that he’ll never be Iron Man and Peter knows that he’ll never be Iron Man because he’s Spider Man. In No way home he loses Aunt May and before she dies she gives the iconic quote “With great power there must also come great responsibility.” After that he creates the greatest Spider-Man suit of all time and swings in New York City. Tom has been Spider-Man since Civil war but he was just a kid learning how to become the true Spider-Man. His first trilogy was actually his origin story as a teen in Highschool living a double life as a superhero and now his next trilogy will be Peter in his early adult years going to college and rebuilding his life. Tom is the true Spider-Man/Peter Parker and one day everyone will know Tom is and has always been the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

In this scene he feels like he is still getting a accustomed to the hero thingy. He starts the movie with so much enthusiasm because he gets to try his new suit and all.He has enhanced powers with the help of tony stark, but he has no one to talk to about it. Tony is busy with his things, happy is busy with tony's things, peter wants to do more and believes he can handle much bigger missions, he cant talk about this to aunt may so he is basically feeling lonely.That is until NED comes into play. You can tell peter feels happy when he can share things with his bff. Not to mention spidey doing helping tasks, being funny, sometimes committing mistakes etc etc. its comic accurate and fun to see. This scene was able to convey it all perfectly.

The webbing used, max speed, distance travelled, kinetic energy from punches and kicks, all leading up to when the next time Peter's heart rate calms, (meaning he's no longer in danger) a small pop-up appears saying "Taser Web Unlocked!" "Rapid-fire Unlocked"
If Peter discovered that without hacking into the suit he would have been speed running that "New skill acquired" "Web grenade unlocked"

I didn't notice this when the movie came out but I just realized that the song is perfect for this. Peter Parker is from Forest Hills. The Ramones are also from Forest Hills. There are 2 Ramones murals in the neighborhood and I believe one of the streets is named after them, too.
