I love how Mumbo’s technical brain comes out in his comedy. When Joel mentions “…weird, it’s like seeing two black cats…”, and Mumbo follows up with the “well it depends on how many black cats you own”, I laugh so hard. His brain instantly goes to alternate possibilities instead of going along with the common association Joel was going for.

Watching a few episodes from other perspectives it's still so surprising that Mumbo's task was NOT to harm the camel as much as possible

He'd lose 10 hearts if he failed the harder task, so tactically it's better to just not complete the task he already has (which unfortunately was doomed to begin with!!!)

This series is just full of brilliant comedic timing; Like when Grian started making puns to Mumbo, or when Mumbo walks up to Scar and Scar talks about how he lost more hearts, or when Grian LAYS DOWN THE LAW!! It's just brilliant, what an amazing series

In her defense he actually was trying to kill it. It just happened that several of the times she saw it take damage were, according to Mumbo, accidental. Camels are hard.

Mumbo currently has the BEST entrance into BigB's base. He walked from Scar's base, through caves, into the bigBbackrooms, and immediately was so confused he forgot where he came from.

Mumbo definitely could've rerolled if he hadn't told people what his task was and phrased the question better. It didn't explicitly say it was failed if Scar took more than 3 hearts of damage, so it became not completable rather than failed.

Task idea: Get at least one player to help you build a memorial to a pet you never had. Act as distraught as possible in front of green names but completely normal in front of yellows.

@@darkdragoness5 I think in this case Scar wasn't chosen randomly because it didn't use Scar's actual Minecraft username. For example, in Grian's task it said "SmallishBeans" and not "Joel". So I think if Scar truly was chosen randomly, it would've said "GoodTimeWithScar" instead of just "Scar".

Hey, Mumbo, you accidentally discovered an incredibly powerful option for keeping your task secret. With Yellow Names gaining the guessing ability, you're in danger of failing your task instantly if they guess right. During this session you accidentally did something brilliant, by trying to kill Scar's camel you made it hard for people to guess what your real task was. Essentially what happened is you created a decoy task that tricked the Yellow Names. If you want to recover your hearts come up with an obvious decoy task to complete alongside your real task to keep the yellows guessing.

This is hands down the most hilarious video of the series that I have seen, the perfectly timed Scar losing hearts as soon as Mumbo is within earshot and Grian saying that he can't re-roll as a dramatic sound effect plays was amazing and had me cackling.

I know this was most of the comments on the mounders first episode, but I can't stress enough how much I'm loving the completely random alliance of Mumbo, Bdubs, Pearl and Joel. It's not very often that any of them are very close on SMPs and it's interesting to see them all work together. I really hope one of the mounders wins this season!

Yea, this should have been a hard task since it was the whole session and you couldn't tell the person you are protecting. They should have either made it more than 3 hearts or until the person completes their task. Or that Mumbo was able to tell Scar his task similar to what Grian was able to do.

Secret idea: Randomly disconnect from the server during at least 4 conversations.
Task idea: get Etho to answer 5 Naruto related questions. When you're done, drop a log in front of him, yell out "substitution jutsu!", then run away.
Task Ideas : 1. You have to get everyone on the server to say their name, without you telling them to say their name. 2. You must steal something valuable from 6 players' houses, while their in their house, without getting caught. 3. Chose a player and constanly tell them horrible puns/jokes for 30 mins of the session straight without them questioning you. ❤
This series is one of the best so far... The secrets ALWAYS lead to the most hilariously chaotic situations, like Mumbo riding a camel for basically the whole video just to prevent Scar from riding it! XD
