Dier will never be any good at defense
Sonny goal shows why he is top class finisher, looks easy but it's not at all.
He actually scuffed the finish a little bit; it almost appears that he hit the ball with a bit of his left foot. However, the goal was scored and that's what matters.

I agree; it wasn't the hardest goal to score but he put the ball in the back of the net, unlike his previous attempt.

Tottenham's biggest problem is the fact that it's Eric Dier. He's lost too many points because of him, he can't play back fours because of him, and because of him, Romero's defensive area is widening and he's losing his stamina. Eric Dier is directly connected to all Totenham's problems. He should never renew his contract with him. All he can do is raise his voice and applaud showmanship.

1. The defense was terrible. This is a good example of Levy's recruitment failure. 2. In my opinion Foster is Tottenham's best goalkeeper at the moment. 3. Striker Kane is playing the role of playmaker. Why didn't Levy recruit Eriksen? It's sad that Kane is the only player who can assist Sonny. Think back to the season in which we reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in the past. Even without Kane, we were able to make it to the semifinals because the playmakers existed. 4. Perisic did not pass to Sonny who was still a no-mark near the box in this match and was obsessed with the cross. Tottenham are not giving many chances to players who are good at scoring. Porro also played the worst game until he scored a goal.
Conte 2 CMF style truly cost us a big weaknesses tbh, most teams usually outnumbering PEH and that's it. For the rest of the season we don't have any creators left so one of the best opt is Kane to drop deeper to provides assist opp just like in Mourinho era. I hope next szn we truly leaves this awful formations w better creative players incoming.

Mystery! How come Tettenham continuously lines up Dier? Dier is an underleveled player.
Eric Dier has never been good at Tottenham. However, the club renews his contract and makes him play as a starting member. Dier's poor performance has been a problem for years, but the club is focused on recruiting wingbacks and wingers. This is why Tottenham cannot win the trophy even though they have Kane and Son Heung-min.
Can Dier stop pointing and directing other players and just focus on his man? Kulusevski should have started instead of Richarlison. Richie is not a winger.. or a playmaker. He needs to be up top as a striker but not going to happen with Kane there. Son needs to play up top more instead if midfield. Utilize his runs, get him through on goal. At least we can see some change with Mason in charge.

Wtf was Dier doing? Tottenham defenders seem to forget how to put pressure to the opponents.
Defense is hopeless, no wonder Conte used to park the bus with 10 players defending in the first half hoping Spurs kept a clean sheet and then fire back in second half. But the system collapsed when injuries to top players like Bentancur and Bissouma created a massive hole at the back which has jeopardized the team’s record.
Kane has some truly special assisting ability especially on the counterattack. Of course, he is also well known for his goal scoring.

He spoke German and no English, had to learn new language and culture, and settling down was not easy... Mason had a horrific and tragic accident on the field while playing and it ended his career as a player forever. It's a miracle that he lives today... Sonny and Mason played together on the field as players... Now as Manager and player, they celebrate their small victory (tied after losing 2 goals) against a big club like Manchester United, when Tottenham is going through an internal crisis of losing Managing Director Paratici and losing Manager Conte WITHOUT FINDING PERMANENT REPLACEMENT FOR BOTH OF THOSE POSITIONS. After the disastrous game with New Castle, many fans wanted to throw in the towel and call quits with this club. But watching these two, Sonny & Mason, supporting each other and encouraging each other, it gives us fans a little ray of hope, after having so much crisis & hardship this season with this club. Whether Harry and Sonny leaves this team after this season, I do not blame them if they do, I want to support them while they are still here. Ryan Mason, you are the man~! Do not let anyone look down at you due to your young age or your limited experience as manager! Keep going because we have your back! COYS~!!! 🔥👍✌

If that was Romero defending, we wouldn't have conceded any second goal. Dier is a DMF, I've always said it. We had only Romero in defence. I hope he doesn't get pissed and leave. I hope he gets good backup defender to pair with him next season. I still don't know why Richie is preferred to Arnaut Danjuma. I really don't know. Danjuma would honestly be our saving grace if Kane goes, aside Son (that's if we can retain him). Arnaut is hungry. In just a few games, he has scored more premier league goals than Richie...Lolz. Why is noone seeing this? At the moment, the only dependable strikers we have are Kane, Son and Arnaut. Kulu has totally lost it towards second half of the season. But we still keep fielding Richie, why??? He is so unclinical in front of the goal. In my opinion, let's revert to our formation during Poch's tenure that created a solid link between attack and defence and did wonders. Primarily 4231 and secondarily 343. Introduce attacking football once again. This is what Spurs is known for. Get two AMF's btw EBERECHI EZE, McALLISTER or MADDISON (I'll prefer Eberechi plus any of McAllister/Maddison anyway because of Eberechi's unique style of play). Then crown it with Allan Saint-maximin from Newcastle. I bet you these will be willing to come to the Lane. In the end, it's been yet another disappointing seasin as usual because of our businessman, Levy. Tottenham would hardly progress with Levy at the helm of affairs no matter the manager.
