    • Ethan D he's genuinely a scary fighter to watch. Like he's on cruise control until he decides it's 'time' to speed up and take full control of the match. Very relaxed fighter, doesn't worry about the crowd. AS long as he's not too heavy I see him defeating Joshua. Either Joshua wins early, or Usyk wins late.

  • A true and incredibly rare act of class was when after the AJ match Usyk said he deliberately did not want to KO AJ in the last seconds of the 12th round and you can see he stopped punching. This was very old school sportsmanship where you don't KO the old champ when you take his belts and obviously Usyk has respect for AJ being a gentleman like himself. How refreshing after all the UFC BS.

    • " _Usyk is the best person in Boxing right now_ " Best person? Maybe. Best boxer/fighter? Not even close. You see, in order to be the best at something, you've got to chase and beat the best to PROVE it. Usyk might have a great personality and his fanbase might adore him .. but that doesn't mean anything as it pertains to weighing and measuring his accomplishments/ milestones. If a fan cannot discuss WHY a fighter is the best .. and the most common answer is "because he just is" .. then we know where dealing with cheerleaders, not any kind of serious fans. In that regard, Usyk is not the best in boxing. He's not even the best in his division. When Usyk goes on a KO streak of 42-0, breaks Ali's title defense record while on that KO streak and is 2 fights from clearing out the HW division, then we'll talk about him being possibly the best in his division. Those are big shoes to fill. Until then, this is just fan-fiction at best.

    • @@asswuppin That's why I said 'best person' and not 'best boxer'. He's up there but he's not the best yet.

      @tdyerwestfield@tdyerwestfield2 жыл бұрын
    • @@tdyerwestfield Yes .. he's up there in terms of BEST PERSON by your standards. But he's not anywhere near being the best yet. That distinction lies in the FACTS/STATS that would reflect him being the best. And they're just not there. Not even close. Very far away. Word of advice: Don't let writers/pundits/analysts think for you. SOOOOOO many fans do! Look at Anthony Joshua. He's been built up as one of the best for years for virtually having done nothing. Like Fury, Joshua fought Klitschko once Klitschko was the same anymore and had to come out of retirement to fight. But they receive FULL credit for it anyway! They claim that Lomachenko is some "phenom" and dubbed him "The Matrix". But Lomachenko has 17 fights in nearly 10 years of pro competition. That's an abysmal record. And he's already got 2 losses. One to a journeyman. The other to a kid who is currently being knocked out in sparring these days. We all have our favorites. But for your analysis to carry any weight, its got to be predicated upon FACTS/STATS that you can prove. Impartial and unbiased. If the guys you like wind up accomplishing something noteworthy, make sure to talk about it. But prematurely hailing a guy as a top fighter when he's got nothing done as of yet is just a waste of time. Good luck! Take care.

There's a behind the scenes documentary of what happened after the Usyk/Bellew match, Tony is talking with Alex and he says, 'Pleae don't let him [Oleksandr] go too long in this Boxing game.', knowing Boxing is unhealthy to Boxers who go on for too long. After Usyk defeated Joshua, while Oleksandr was still in the ring, Tony came up to the side of the ring and congratulated him and gave him a kiss & cuddle. Afterwards, he stated that Oleksandr is by far the best Boxer right now.
