  • Such a humble lady outside the court! Great champion 🏆

  • Aryna congratulations. So happy there's another phenomenal power player at the top. I missed Serena so much and then Aryna, Sinner and Alcaraz came and I'm enjoying these positive, joyful players. Reminds me a lot of Serena. Aryna's fierce match and serving has improved so much. Such a delightful champion.

  • Into the pantheon of modern greats she goes! Welcome, Aryna to the club of multiple slam winners! Amongst current players you share that dinner table with Venus, Iga, Naomi, Vika, Angie, Garbine, Petra and Simo. Super elite and a superstar!

  • I am quite glad she is doing well. I rooted for Iga before but she has become more sullen and I prefer the refreshing more funny Aryna.

  • How can people hate her, she plays super aggressive, always risk taker and hits like a man, not a single boring moment when I watch her. I wish she can stay top3 for many more years, her and Ostapenko really just bring the best in womens tennis, without them it would be boring snoozefest of just playing defensive tennis.

  • I like her and her grunting is nothing new. I have seen many other women athletes do as well with less and less skepticism.

  • It's difficult to call a grand slam when you don't play 5 sets it's like not even notice that the women were actually in competition , even in combat sports women do the same as men , it's impressive how tennis has stopped in time.

    • Good point. Back in the 90´s the women played best of five in the world championship´s finals. I think Graf vs. Hingis and Graf vs. Huber went the full distance. On the other hand, tennis is getting ever more physically challenging. Now there are talks that both men and women should only have to play best of three sets, even in majors.Recalling Djokovic and Nadal almost fainting after their six hours AO final, that may not be the worst of ideas, though.

    • Go make babies and then we will definitely be equal, stupidity to the highest. We know that this world men want to be women and women want to be men but God did not make us that way. Did you notice that your father is different than your mom physically? 😂

  • This tournament was Coco's to lose. She is better than every Single player on the WTA but she comes across to me as somewhat stubborn, preferring to do things her own way rather than working closely with the veteran coach. And she paid the price. It won't be easier next year.
