Super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.

    • Exactly! Just seen Operation Fortune and it is utter shite. The editing is absolutely awful and stilted. The music is bland and the acting is like they took the wrong takes. Hugh Grant hams it up nicely and Statham does what he does but man....I was tempted to walk out halfway true. The editing/script is the worst offender tho, absolutely dreadful.

    • Yeah it's been delayed for a fair while because I swear it should've been released by now. I really enjoyed the gentleman when I saw it in the cinema, Jason Statham is (well...Jason Statham), and it's good to see Josh Hartnett back on the big screen. Looking forward to this being released sooner rather than later!

I wish they could have just changed that stuff...and the whole thing isn't that new, russia attacked Ukraine in 2014 and annexed their territory. So making these fictional bad guys Ukrainian is fucked up. If this movie was from 2014 February or earlier, it would have been okay. But it's not.
