  • I actually want to know what's on your mind when you run...do you ever feel bored....How do you deal with willpower fatigue, if you ever had it?

    @Chloeayoy@Chloeayoy5 жыл бұрын
    • If you run youll know you dont really get time to be bored, you just seem to be looking around, working on form and breathing etc.

    • @@Toonyy0606 this might be true to you and some runners but I didn't find this true at all, it's all relative to how fit we are, someone could be flat out and do parkrun in 30 mins where I could jog it in 18 mins. Also I never liked listening to music when I first started out! As long as were all happy!

    • Count every left foot fall. Get to 100, then start again. Use fingers to remember each 100. Depending on pace, 450-500 is approximately 1km for me. It stops me getting bored.

    • @@aliyansm1172 islam allows you to not fast if you have a legitimate reason such as illness or travelling, there was no professional long distance marathons in the 7th century so the scholars didn't comment on this but from logic, when running 15,000 km over multiple hours at high speed and this is your only source of income for your family, since you naturally need to drink, then you are exempted from fasting only when its a professional long distance race, at the end of the day, mo farah is a very religious guy, he prays all his prayers, reads quran and fasts when he isn't working, and he's definitely better than you both in the professional word, and religiously, also, whether he fast and how and when he does or doesn't, is none of your business, itd between him and his Allahl go worry about yourself

As a fellow runner who has done many "intense" workouts myself I know the feeling and found it especially funny at how pitiful mine probably were in comparison.

    @hlutearlt5634@hlutearlt56345 жыл бұрын
    • glucose is the basis on what all humans and animals live on. it's the chemical name for sugar, you can't live without it and your body is converting what food you eat into glucose and other nutrients as needed. carbohydrates are good for distance running because they provide longer lasting energy, that's what he was drinking in the video when he poured that powder stuff into his bottle. those are just powdered carbs, nothing too special. carbs come from things like pasta, certain types of bread etc. glucose is better for sprints because it gives you much more energy for a shorter amount of time and doesn't use your anaerobic system much, if at all. sprinting uses glucose which is stored in your muscles for instant use when needed
