Raccoon BabyRaccoon This Baby Raccoon was in the middle of a busy highway. We got out and coaxed him to crawl in a box. Then we saw another baby raccoon across the street and took the box over where he was.He seemed happy to see his brother- or sister whichever the case may be LOL.I created this video with the KZhead Video Editor ( / editor ) Big Long and Massive Trains Here at Wide World of Trains. I want to start doing Airplane and Jet videos at Air Shows Some Day
I think what you done was a good thing. You never touched it with your hands and that’s something that you never do with a wild animal baby. Just because you don’t see the mother doesn’t mean it wasn’t close by. If you had called animal control they would have put them to sleep. It probably wouldn’t have hurt to contact wildlife. They could have checked it out and maybe moved the whole family to a place farther away from that busy road. But God Bless you for helping the baby get back to it’s family.
Thank you this is the best post that I have read in this whole thread I believe. I was thinking never to touch a wild animal especially a raccoon that was my knowledge. And as far as Wildlife goes I'm not sure we have a wildlife phone number in this area just didn't think of it I guess. And like you said the mother could have been close by that's what I was thinking
You are welcome. I live in the country and I deal with a lot of wild animals. I have learned to keep leather gloves handy and boxes, small cages. If a human touches a wild baby animal the mother will smell the scent and will reject the baby and it will die. Where I live I don’t know the Wildlife fish and game number either. I either have to look it up in a phone book or call the local non emergency sheriffs department and I ask them. I am in a if you blink you miss it small town in NC. I think the most important thing is that you stopped and helped that baby raccoon. You saved it’s life. I wouldn’t have thought about calling anyone as well. You are or I should say y’all were kind and caring people who cared about the life of that baby and I can bet that the mother was somewhere close by like I said before. I am disappointed in a lot of the comments in the thread because they said some unkind things. But I guess everyone has their opinion. I can also say that if you have cats and leave food outside overnight you will surely have possums (opossums) come up to eat your cat food and you definitely don’t want to pick up one of them. Raccoons like cat food as well. What a lot of people may not have noticed is it was daytime and raccoons are nocturnal. Mothers will sometimes go eat and then (like a mother bird) come back and regurgitate the food for the babies. And I am rambling on. I just wanted you (y’all) to know that your comment meant a lot to me. You did a good thing. It shows the kind of person you are. Most people would have just went on by. If I am wrong I do apologize for any misleading information I have given to the viewers of this video. I don’t go around picking up wild baby animals. But like I said I always have gloves handy and boxes and cages if I need them. I am not taking chance should I have to do so. Thank you again for your information. For your area, google "wildlife rehab". I live in greater Houston area where we have the Texas Wildlife Rehab center. I have even called them at 10 pm on a Sat night, left a message about finding an abandoned baby animal, and gotten a call back that night or the next morning. Then, I've often been given an address of an "animal rehab-er" close by me to take the baby to. These are ordinary people who know how to care for the baby until it can be released back into the wild. Once I took a baby squirrel to a woman who lived in a mansion in a gated community. She had an entire set-up in a room in her home with incubators even. Very good-hearted woman who specialized in baby squirrels. (Btw, DON'T try to feed a baby animal. Keep it warm and just get it to a re-habber as soon as you can). And, once I found a baby rat, took it to the Rehab center, and was asked if I'd like to be notified when baby is old enough to be released so that I could watch it being released back into the wild when the time came. I kept a straight face and declined. But, thought it was so nice that they asked. : ) And, btw, they're a nonprofit, so when I've brought baby animals to them, I always give at least $20 as a donation. But, obviously, if mom is nearby, best to reunite baby with mom.

It's very rare that the mother would rush and gather them, they are very protective. Which leads me to believe that something happened to the mother and the babies left their den looking for her or food.
Although mom's do forage during the day, you're right, at that age they should stay out for up to12hrs at a time - far longer than mamma should be gone for. Hope to god they made it.
Rewk Mose! The only option when you find young animals like these, is to try and put them into a box or somewhere comfy and secure, and wait around to see if their mother returns. Obviously you can't stay there waiting indefinitely, so you should secure them first, then start calling a local animal rescue and ask their advice. If there is no sign of the mother, and the rescue people are busy, then you cannot just leave the animals there alone. That's just not an option with a good outcome. You'll have to take them temporarily, and quickly search the internet to see what milk, and/or water and food is healthy for them and feed them. But obviously keep in touch with animal rescue to find a time when you can drop off the animals there.
Rewk Mose , I have to agree with you. They appear to be too young to venture out on their own. Something is wrong with the situation. I hope they were reunited with Mom but sadly, I doubt it.

Last week we had a baby raccoon calling for his mother from our porch attic. We have since discovered there are two of them. He even came out and walked around on the roof. She was gone about two days. About 3 in the morning I heard him chattering excitedly, I knew she had returned! I think she may have gotten locked in someone's shed or something. I've been putting out extra food and water for them. I hope the mother raccoon's ok and makes in back in time. Or perhaps another mamma raccoon will adopt them.

Wide World of Trains: Or he was cute. ..... If you had REALLY rescued him then perhaps he and his sibling would still be alive. Instead though, you just threw him out of that box onto the grass, still very close to the road. He and his sibling were far too young to fend for themselves and almost certainly without REAL intervention they would have wandered back onto the road again or succumbed to injuries and/or starvation. How much effort would it have been to contact a wildlife rescue / rehabilitator to save them?? VERY lazy, yet it seems you want everyone to pat you on the back and tell you how great you are for 'rescuing' the cute baby raccoon. Shame on you.

too bad u didn't wait, they died if she wasn't or maybe(hopefully) someone else picked them up n took them to a place to get fed n released later. it was good he was taken off the road though, he was so adorable, I would have picked him up n carried him... lol.. I actually would have waited n if she was not around I would have eventually kept that little one on the road, who know's I'm such a big sap I might have kept both... lol
You definitely did the right thing by getting the baby racoon off the streets, good work on that. But like others have said you should have called a wildlife center or something. Just assuming the mother was nearby wasn't enough, she might have been wounded or even dead.
Did you SEE the mother? Didn't you realize the first baby was injured, and the second baby was in danger? Moving two scared and disoriented raccoons ten yards from the road is a good start, but the situation demanded more than that.
The sound of those cars passing is ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING.

Just so everyone knows - when they are that small, they don't have teeth.Slowly, Just pick them up by the scruff of the neck, and support legs just like with a kitten; tuck them into a towel or jacket. Purr to them and rub back of neck; they settle right down and will be comforted. They can't bite with no teeth. Poor little guy - his ears aren't even standing all the way up. I fear Mom may have come to bad end. Kits should go to wildlife rehab; or wait with them in the box until night to see if mom comes. (I know that is a lot for most people) but she will come if alive. If not, they need a rehaber. Barely four weeks and shouldn't be out of the nest yet.

That baby should have been brought to a sanctuary! What a hero you are, you posted this online now this baby will die alone because surely the Mother no longer exists! I rescued four Orphaned babies and raised them two and a half months till I was finally able to find a sanctuary that rescues Raccoons!
many times adult raccoons will sleep during the day but their babies will be awake and may wonder off somewhat near the den, the den may have been close because you saw the raccoon sibling across the street, good job rustling the wandering young bud off the street and getting he or she back close to the den again...thumbs up using the box.
i wouldn't say saved from certain death, because they most likely died afterwards. good on you for stopping though. Chances are something happened to the mom, they are way to small to survive on their own. if no one took them to a rehabilitator or found mom, they are dead.

Raccoons usually don’t leave their babies alone. We’ve had raccoons around, they tote their babies around everywhere. Hope you didn’t just leave them. Call wildlife they can always tell you what you can do! The mother may have gotten killed by either dogs or cars? However it was nice you saved them from the road!
baby racoons are not usually left on the ground like that. The mother may have died or the babies fell out of the tree. I woild have brought them to a wildlife rehabilitator.

Yeah its scary to just leave them their not knowing what could happen and when you gt back home you just keep thinking about the baby racoons about what could happen to them

please, when you find young animals like this and the mother is not seen, take them to the wildlife center. if you really don't have time or no box or anything: give them a call and tell them where the babies are located. it's nice to see you stopped, really! but it breaks my heart you even had a box and still left them there. a more accurate title would be "saved from certain death by getting hit by a car and left to die a certain death by starving". i don't mean to attack you, maybe you just didn't know better. but next time, please save them for real. thank you
thedeadserious my goodness.They did the best they could!! People are never satisfied. I’m sure next time he won’t help at all and will let them get squashed to death since no one is satisfied. They stated several times, they weren’t sure about these animals and didn’t know what to do other than getting them off the street. The fact that they did try and help without knowing is great in my eyes. They tried. That’s all you can do.

wow. it was reunited with another lost baby raccoon. they're probably dead. i ALWAYS take baby animals to a wildlife refuge for their safety. the are taken care of and released when they are old enough to take care of themselves.

Thank you for getting the little guy off of the road. I hope that you were able to reunite them with their mother, and not just leave them. They were too young to be there by themselves. (I raised a newborn raccoon, found in a fallen tree, whose mother did not come back to get her.)

So sorry you couldn't make the time to drop them at the local wild animal rescue person, they were still at the age to be nursing, mama probably trapped or poisoned & couldn't come home. These little ones can barley walk : (

Wide World of Trains : Should have "Googled" a local animal rescue group. They would have come to trap them and gotten in touch with "professional" government licensed wild life rehabilitators. Now for SURE, without their parents they will SLOWLY STARVE to death, or become ROAD KILL ! YOU DIDN'T FINISH THE RESCUE AT ALL ! Had to leave ? All you needed was just a "little extra" time to help these little orphans out .👎😢😞😟
Hey at least I stopped unlike other traffic, by taking him off the road and setting him with his brother (or sister :) ) gave him more of a chance that the countless other cars that just went by
Saved? Unless you took the poor babies home, you definitely didn't save them. They were way too young to be on their own.

He was exhausted from all the walking poor baby I myself would have picked him up..I can't help myself, n if the mother would not have come back, I would have taken them home n try to find a Place that could take care of them till old enough to go out in the wild. But then I've always wanted a Racoon so I might have kept the little runt.. lol

you got to be careful with raccons because they can carry rabies. that's why it's never a good idea to pick up a raccon unless you've been professionally trained to handle wild animals especially the ones that are known to carry dieses. these people did the smart thing by not picking it up.
Exactly! Ive gotten lots of comments here that I should have done more, as I have pointed out I dont know much about these other than the risk of rabies, thus I didnt handle them only got it out of harms way

Jasmine, the hate is shocking to me. And WWoT was correct to be cautious. They are adorable, but when dealing with animals that you don't know it's necessary to use one's brain.

PS: If you ever DO run across a similar situation-a raccoon this young really couldn't hurt you much...they barely have any teeth! And they don't WANT to...they want love, food and protection. I raised a family of orphaned raccoons long ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life. These are truly VERY loving, sweet animals that are SUPER intelligent. When I took on that little family, I didn't know what I was doing. I learned from a great Vet. You could too. And you would be mightly rewarded. If you like dogs, cats or both- you'd LOVE these little guys...
It was nice of you to get there baby raccoon off the road however he looks like he had been injured and hopefully you went back and got him and the other one and took them to a rehabilitation center .

Thank you for moving the babies out of harm's way. Searched within the comments to see if you by chance brought them to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator - recognising this was recorded and uploaded in the spring of 2016. Both looked malnourished -- one was showed signs of injury by it's stiff-legged poor gait and right eye had retinal damage -- which was a fairly good indication their mother unfortunately passed away. Raccoons have a long maternal period of up to a year so without mom, they cannot survive on their own.
Weekly Whiskers - Excellent observation. I thought the little baby crossing the road looked like it might have been injured, but, unsure I didn’t want to say anything. I hadn’t noticed it was 2016 upload though. I appreciate your insight. I do deal with a lot of wild animals and tame animals and Thank you for the information that you gave. I did list a website and number on a post for the Wildlife fish and game. God Bless you for your post. There were a lot of negative and unkind words in the thread. It was so nice to see someone else post something helpful and kind.

I had to rehab a baby raccoon once and it wasnt easy but it was the most enjoyable time of my life. He may have rehabbed me lol. I have a lot of property and he had free range and successfully made his own way into the wild. It took daily walks to get him to forage for his meals and one day he just didnt come back. Id like to think he caught the scent of a female and had many babies but since I havent saw any sign of him since, he most likely fell victim to to local pack of coyotes. Only the mother could have taught him about such hazards. I would do it again if ever given the opportunity. We both had a great year.

anytime you see them this small and no Mom, box them up and call a local wildlife rehabbers. these guys sre as good as dead if not. that one couldnt wall so well. They love peanut butter and marshmallows. if you go back and see them do as i mentioned. They don't eat a ton waiting for a rehabbers. gotta male sure mom is nowhere around which seems to be the case.

I feed about 15 raccoons on a nightly basis and give them tons of cake, marshmallows, zebra cakes, donuts all kinds of junk food they love it lol ... I do make sure I also give them dry cat food, apples, cantaloupe, grapes, chicken, burger, steak, peanut butter sandwiches too
I clicked this vid to be happy and see the baby saved and left feeling sad because it was not saved
They are way too young to be out and about. Raccoons can't see until they are at least 3 weeks old and that lil one looks blind still. Something must have happened to momma also because females will go to any and all lengths to find and protect their babies. Those poor lil guys probably died. That absolutely breaks my heart. Wonderful of you to help him off the highway though. I can only imagine how many people just drove by not caring.

People in their hustle and bustle of their lives don't seem to care about anything else but getting to their important lives on time. It's why we see so many road kills because people would rather run something over than take a moment to allow the rest of the world to live its life. It's nice to see when someone stops to take a moment and care.
Awwwwww.... He wanted to be held so badly... I want one... I save wild babies of all species and right now I've got a 13-day-old Cottontail rabbit that I plan to either place in a rabbit sanctuary, or release back into the wild, but I would have kept that raccoon as a beloved pet... 😍

Then it would've turned on you cause it's still a wild creature no matter what. You could possibly also get rabies. So uh, rethink that.
You didn't have to shake the dang box though, the poor thing was hurt! You need patience and careful hands for things like this, you almost acted like that box mean't more to you than the racoon. The sweet thing probably didn't make it on it's own like that anyways though.... but at least he was saved from getting crushed by tires....

Poor little guy seems to have a problem with its leg. I think it would've been better to calld wildlife rescue instead of leaving them on their own.
he's hurt!!! poor baby... I used to have a baby coon, and he was so cute, loving, never snarled or acted like it was going to bite. racoons are little thieves, and mine would sneak up to us and try and steal our cigarettes out of our hands, or phones, or whatever we had that seemed like it was important... we eventually had to release Rocky-Skips back into the wild when he decided that he was an inside pet, and despite our best efforts would constantly try and sneak inside the house and hide in my kids beds... Before anyone says anything nasty about any of this, I had a long discussion with a renowned veterinarian at Michigan State University, (originally only a farming and veterinarian college) He explained that R-Skips had marked us as his property and that although we thought R-Skips actions cute, and assumed that it meant that we were his family, it was not like that at all. The vet explained that the next issues would be R-Skips using his claws in less than ideal ways, like tearing up the house to make himself a good nest... Or tearing a hole in the wall to get inside, and once inside tear everything and anything he wanted to up... We also found out that for Rocky to successfully be released and reintegrate into the wild, we had to drive him at least 5 miles away. We did better and went about 12 miles (as the crow flies) away... Rocky-Skips didn't want to leave his cage at first, but eventually ventured out... We waited around and made sure he was ok before leaving. He walked to the side of the woods and called out and then walked back our way, and then back towards the woods, and called out again, he must have heard what he was looking for because he ran into the woods then. We waited for about 15 minutes to make sure he was not coming back and left. My kids were really upset and cried when they got home from school and R-Skips was gone. I explained that R-Skips had spent way too much time away from his mommy and daddy and they missed him, and he had to go home. They were okay with that answer but said that they would miss him... 4 years later and the kids still talk about R-Skips... sorry for long comment, just wanted to share my experience...
Oh don't be sorry, I want to hear stories like yours, thanks for sharing in such detail. I know nothing about them except that they can carry rabies so I was cautious but I did want to try and save him from the traffic. This is a New York Highway so it wasnt safe for him.

Wide World of Trains Raccoon babies have to be placed within a group. It is imperative for them to develop social skills. They can't really survive when raised and released solo. I realize this is of no help now, but worth passing on as you never know.

u should have tried to call an animal rehab center. look up on google for nearest one. they may not have survived

People are more interested in using a smart phone to stroke their own egos ("Wow! I'll make a KZhead video and become famous!") than they are using their heads to take charge in a situation like this. Put down the damn phone and help the animal! Then use the damn phone to find some responsible wildlife rescue groups!
Raccoons are considered nuisance animals. They won't rescue them.

@@hard2handle269 I live in Ohio and found a baby raccoon at our church. Mom was on the road dead. No one would rescue it because in Ohio they are not rescued, only killed. They will not relocate either. We found a man who rescues them and has several.
They are soooooo adorable... Me being the huge animal lover...that I am I would of ..probably taken the babies with me ..to raise..cause chances are something could of happened to the mom..💔...I just hope that nothing did happen to the mom ...all animals are like babies to me ..love them all ❤

Apparently low on energy, calorie devoid, and missing their mother. These cuties are far from rescued, If Mamma was around you would have known it right away. My guess is they did not make it.

Sel Sam Yes that’s right. But because they’re so young you need to keep them warm and reduce stress by putting them in a cardboard box lined with a towel or something warm, offered them a little bit of water if possible and contacted a vet / wildlife expert / rescue service. They are totally defenceless and way too young to be on their own - they would only fall prey to predators like a dog, cat, owl, hawk, crow, eagle or other threat.
You just left them there to die?. What's the point they need either their mother or someone to take care of them. If they are in the open in the daytime their mother is dead!!!!

he did what he thought was right and you guys can't fault him for that... all this hate and saying what he should have done might cause someone to not react and help the next raccoon they see in the road for fear they're making it worse... i have two families of raccoons about 8-10 of them that live on my property and eat cat food for dinner every night... and when they wake up to use the bathroom during the day... they're all super sweet, eat out of my hands and play with my cats... the babies are super cute too! good job getting them out of the road! they may or may not have made it but their chances are way better because of what you did... Don't let anyone try to shame you or act like they know better.. everyone is an expert online.

I didn't see any saving going on here, there are enough organisations and people out there in all developed nations that will save animals that you could have really saved these animals by contacting such and handing them over.

They were probably eaten by hawks. Sad to say. I think they should have taken both to a wild-life rehabber if they actually cared if they lived or died.
I think your intentions were probably good. I'm glad you got the raccoon back to it's sibling. But PLEASE, man...will you try to be more gentle next time? This was a tiny baby-crying out to you. You may not have realized it, but you were mighty rough on this little creature. It's a BABY! Clearly hurt...clearly crying. I was struck and upset that you never even made a reassuring or comforting noise towards it. An INFANT-frightened, hurt, begging you for help. Raccoons are largely nocturnal. If the Mother was around, they never would've been on the ground in daylight, by themselves. And they clearly don't understand roads and how to stay away from danger. Next time-PLEASE- go the extra steps and get them to a rescue, vet or kind hearted person with a nurturing touch. I'm glad you stopped to help; but these animals needed so much more...

D- you're being a little harsh; the kit was making normal "where are you Mom, brother/sister" vocalizations. Yes , it is a very small kit (with no teeth yet) - but how were they to know that? It is not every day one finds a little bandit in the middle of the road. As for his teetering walk - he was doing pretty good for his age! He looked pretty normal to me - even the weird eyes; when I first started doing wildlife rehab, I thought one of my kits was blind, but no - that's just how the eyes look when they are very young. At least they stopped and tried. Better to leave both kits in the box, and see if Mom came...or call but seriously, I had to ask all over town for two days before I found a facility that could help with raccoons. Not all states allow that. Best to make sure Mom comes if possible. You have to understand that people are afraid of wild animals; they had no way to know how young it was. And, sometimes Mom will come charging down (not usually, but it can happen).

Only when cornered or they're a mamma defending their Cubs...pretty much like us. Otherwise they'll avoid confrontation & conflict wherever possible. When it's not, yes, they can put up a good fight, but are no match for larger dogs.
Tallison Rausch ... I agree. I raised a female raccoon found as a newborn in a fallen tree, who could not be reunited with her mother. She was so intelligent!! I was always comparing the things that she could do and her problem solving abilities to a monkey. I kept a diary of her development and of all of the things that she would do. She was always trying to figure out how things were put together and try to take them apart, just like a child would do. She was like a daughter to me, and she thought of me as her mom.
Raccoons can be vicious any time, not just mamma's protecting cubs. I relocated 18 of them last year--some of them are very aggressive and mean; others are quite calm. They have very different personalities. Raccoons in packs can attack dogs and cats, or even humans. And no one should ever have one as a pet, especially if babies or kids are around.
sullyFL ... I kept the baby raccoon when she grew up, because she was terrified of going outside. She would scream and cling to me when I stepped outside. I was afraid that someone else would not put up with this behavior, and then have her euthanized. The 60 foot cottonwood tree fell during a very windy rain storm. She was inside it at the time. Then a crew came with a chain saw to cut the tree out. I think that the experience traumatized her. As far as being aggressive is concerned, even as a baby, she wanted what she wanted, and I did not know this until it happened, that she would bite hard if I attempted to take something away from her. She was bouncing around on the bed between me feeding her. She took my keys off of the table by the bed. When I reached to take them away from her, she bit my finger really hard, drawing blood. My reaction was quick and automatic. I immediately screamed, and hit her nose hard with my knuckle. It happened so fast, without me even realizing what had happened, until afterwards. (I did not mean to hit her, nor to hit her hard. It just happened automatically, because I was so startled and hurt from the bite.) That was the last time her teeth ever touched my finger. Whenever I fed her a piece of food by hand, I would hold it between two fingers, and she would carefully pick it out of my fingers with her teeth, being very careful not to touch her teeth on my fingers. I think that she forgave me for hitting her nose accidently, but she did not forget it, because she never bit me again. She was nice to me and my mother, but when my brother came over and in the room, she would lower her head, step side to side, with her hair up, and make an "I don't know you, and I don't want you in my territory" noise. I did not let her around my cats and dogs. (Actually, she was afraid of my German shepherd, even as a baby.) I loved her dearly, and I am happy that I knew her. That said, I would not recommend a raccoon as a pet, for several reasons.
Thanks for sharing your story! They are so smart and strong, I could see them being strong-willed and cunning--hiding shoes or keys to make people stay, or breaking things if you were paying too much attention to it instead of them. So what happened to your raccoon?

That baby is very young. You could just pick it up, we saved one from our down spout and kept it in the house till dark, and put it outside and the mother took it. If she didn't, we would'nt have left it. No way to survive alone.
At first I thought mom left the runt of the litter on its own, but it looks like something happened to mom and they are all that’s left of the litter. I hope you didn’t just leave them like that, because that too would be certain death.

Interesting, It was more important for this person to film this little guy trying to cross a road,and could barely walk. I guess it's for a you tube channel, and I honestly can not be upset at that. See friends, this is why,you go to harbor freight,and pick up some nice gloves,and pick him up,and carry him to safety. Then you can film this little guy all you want. Thanks for at least staying him, it shows you care...

This Raccoon got his/her leg hurt, and it's horrible, my heart is broken, in that case I would had carry the raccoon and protect him/her. But I am really glad that you helped her, coz not everyone would help an animal that they saw on the street.

If their mother didn't return, those babies were doomed. She might have been killed. Next time, please take them to a local animal rescue. They don't wander like that unless their mother has been gone for too long.

I know this video is nearly 2 years old now, but that baby probably had rabies or distemper, judging by the fact that it could barely walk. Difficulty walking - fully or partially paralyzed hind legs, or walking in circles is one of the signs of rabies. It might explain why the baby was abandoned. Or the mother could have died from rabies herself.
Hello thanks for watching, yeah I really don't know anything about raccoons but I saw them in the road I stopped and did what I could the only thing I really know about them as they could have rabies and I aired on the side of caution a lot of people are criticizing me for not doing more but I did what I knew. A lot of people obviously drove right by and did nothing so least it did more than they did
I think you did the right thing by not handling them (as cute as they were) It's a hard choice whether or not to do more than just moving them off the road. Chances are (at least the one in the road) had rabies and would have probably just been put down by a rehabilitator. At least he/she got to spend some time with his sibling. It was probably terrified in the road. I guess in the future you could give someone a call and just see what they say and perhaps be a bit more gentle getting the raccoon out of the box.

WWoT, knowing how mean people are on these sites, I probably wouldn't have posted the video. I agree that you must be careful with animals you don't know. As cute as raccoons are at any age, according to the Center for Disease Control, after bats they are the second cause for deaths by rabies in humans. www.cdc.gov/rabies/location/usa/surveillance/wild_animals.html Now we know about the parasites. As far as using your phone to film is concerned, well I hate the phone for anything and turn mine on first thing in the morning and last thing at night to check for emergency calls. The rest of the day it's off. But the modern world has a different idea on that and I dare say that many of the people criticizing you more than likely have inappropriately filmed things that would be criticized as well.
