The joy you communicate, in these vlogs is a fresh breath of air..Thank you for your cheerful cadence.,
Thank you for your kind words! 👍
That house was a great find and a bargain considering. I wish the family great success.
Thank you all for sharing Château de Bruges with us. How exciting to start watching the progress of this new life in France.
I know, I plan to go back there in a year to catch up with them!
Thanks to all of you for bringing the centre of France and its "patrimoine" back to life !
Thanks
If Jake, Danielle or Graham see this message, to take wallpaper off, you need to go to the DIY Center and get a product called "Dissoucol" made by a company called Quelyd. This product is mixed with water and you roll it on with a paint roller. 2-3 minutes later the wallpaper literally peels right off.. It's the cats meow... No steamers needed ever..
Great tip, thanks!! 👍
Thanks so much for this advice! We will without a doubt look to give this a try in our next rooms! Hope you liked the video!
@@ChateaudeBruges Beautiful property! I saw on another chateaux that this new product doesn't work on waterproof wallpaper , but was great on regular 'stuff' but was great otherwise.
“She hasn’t made the cut just yet”…. That would have been my ticket home…. How rude!
😊
It looks like a fairytale castle. I love it.
It is!! 👍
What an amazing project! It’s already beautiful but it’s going to be amazing … look forward to booking a stay there ❤️
You’re right it does already look amazing!! Thanks for watching. 😊
That's an incredible floating stair ! Gorgeous setting. I have a only 12 rooms and that's more work than I need !
Yes I can imagine 12 rooms is enough!! 😊
What a beautiful château as well as the gardens. Will be following!
It is a beautiful château!!

It is an amazing château!!
Haven’t made the cut yet, I d be packing my bags and heading home. What a thing to say.
Surely it was a joke, and she was taking it in stride!
Yes I think it was just a joke 🤣
I think it was a little hurtful
I follow and enjoy your vlogs and I also watch a few other chateaux owners , and it seems to me that there are so many English coming to France to buy and renovate the chateaux , I am always asking myself how can they afford it ? The couple are giving up their teachers job and presumedly the father as well . Where do all these people find the money , I really am amazed by this . Bonjour de la Charente Maritime .
You can get more for your money in France than in the U.K. so that’s why people often move to France 🇫🇷. For me it’s the lifestyle and weather that drew me to France. 👍
@@LifeinLaCampagne Thank you for answering me , Do you mean that the salary’s in Britain are higher than here in France , surely you mean for the select few . I also watch the British TV online and they are all talking about the financial problems that the British people are suffering just now , food , electricity , as we do also have in France but to a lesser extent than you. I am sorry but I can’t understand when someone buys a chateau for say 4 hundred thousand € add on the repairs , the taxes , materials , then change it into a wedding venue mostly for the English , the total must surely come up near 1 million € who can afford that? So I still think that you have to have money to do that , but then again I have noticed that when they start filming their renovation they start to ask for Patreons to help them live their dreams , to my knowledge that doesn’t exist in France and to be honest when I tell my friends about the begging they cannot believe me. Bonsoir.
Did that guy say "she hasn't made the cut" about his girlfriend!?
English humour?
@@louisajones3535 or he could be just an ass?
Yes I think it was British humour 🤣
Interesting video, and what a lovely family and a gorgeous chateau. But I hate you using the word caves for what in english is a cellar. Caves in English are grottes in ‘french. If you want to use it say it like the french do.
You are absolutely correct! I annoy myself when I do that😊 SORRY!!!
