Thank you Tim Henson. I've grown a lot since then, and after hearing you talk about Tosin being an inspiration that helped you get where you are today, and then seeing this video, it has made me want to try harder to get better. Now I'm around 19 years of playing and can only keep growing, learning these different styles from epic guitarists like you that love playing so much you can't stop. Keep up the phenomenal work. 🙏🏼

Clay is more likely to play a drill beat with his bass guitar and be skilled enough to make it sound better. If you really listen, everyone in that band is a hitter, the drummer Clay, the basist Clay, the rhythm guitarist Scott, and the riff/vocal/hook/bridge guitarist Tim. To be fair, Scott writes a fair amount of the riffs and bridges. And the Clay is the Larnell Lewis of this generation

Just a friendly reminder to not let Tim's greatness deter us regular players from reaching the best version of ourselves. We have our own unique styles to create yet. Edit: I made this post for those players who struggle with low self esteem or other ailments like depression. I mean, to be fair, Berkeley’s goal is to form working professional musicians, who’ll be able to learn and play perfectly 55 songs (maybe jazz, but the next gig might be rock, or country, or bossa nova or pop, or metal or gospel or folk) in two days with only an mp3, sight read on stages, know 200 jazz standards by heart and be able to improvise something that fits with anything. For those who have not seen it, Tim is asking for 2000 RT on Twitter to make a tutorial of this song, there are only 400 left, let's go!
Meh, I need like 5 years of practice before I even attempt this shit
Yo can you link the tweet?
I can't see the tweet

The level of musicality and passion that goes into every input does not go unnoticed. Absolute inspiration.
best ad ever. stayed for the whole ad. Thank you, our timmy hendrix
This is the first time in history that I got lost in an AD goddamn your good dude...
This kid is lowkey a great business man.
This kid is like 27 years old lmao
Imagine being called a kid when your 3 tears from 30 lol
Years not tears.....but I'm leaving it as it fits.
imagine not realizing that he has an agent
@@neoneherefrom5836 when ppl think artists manage everything themselves 😆
This track is literally too good. I'm honestly a little pissed about it.
Lets start a petition to get tim to release it. Against his will if we have to!
I’m putting my name in that petition
This needs to be a track on it's own
can we just appreciate how good does Tim look in this vid
Make a full song of this a little extended and i can die in peace
saem
It's just a version of the plini "things" motif. You can listen a lot to it in spotify

next album? that's nothing more than a myth, a legend perhaps....
@@khashamaris6867 next album is a real, and will be legendery good
Well you guys should know the band broke up.
Yeah about that album...
@@The_HypedGuy69 what?
Its got his effect and then a chorus, delay, reverb, overdrive, 3 different cabs, you can setup the cabs virtually and its $60, arturia us $200 and doesn't come with all that, I hadn't listened to pilyphia really until today but like holy shit, this might be the greatest guitar player alive and he is practically giving his plug-in out at this point
あの天井に本が無造作に散らばっているの、好きです。 物を落とす(手を離す)と全部上に行けばいいのに、と想像して楽しんでます。笑
If this man ever composed for a movie he'd get an Oscar
this man isnt a guitarist anymore; hes just a master composer who plays guitar. fuckin legend
who makes love to the guitar*
I really loved this! It’s a new sound. He’s highly skilled and gifted. I appreciate the art. 👍
Seen you guys in Cleveland a couple weeks ago and it was the best moment of my life!
SUPER DOPE, what we need next is second follow up Scott Lepage Archetype: Jesus
the plug in has some scott presets too, and so many others
i think you mean clay, he has the beard too
Clay is more likely to play a drill beat with his bass guitar and be skilled enough to make it sound better.
For those who haven't understood my point, Tim is not the greatest ever but he's damn good enough to make some people toss their instrument in the trash. Just wanted to brighten people's day with some positivity. Also thanks for the likes! 🥰
Hop in, we’re gonna go find out who asked
Hop in? Alright sure. What do you drive lol
Thank you
@@oshyn5131 makes no sense since he said it's a friendly reminder
@@fourteen-vn9ir makes perfect sense.. cuz nobody asked and honestly, if you get underminded by someone who is “better” than you, then you should probably re-evaluate how you see yourself lol
No lie, hearing this for the 100th time just gave me the kicking boost to restart guitar. It's so good omg
Tim's music language is so, alien...& I dig them vibes 🤘🏽👽🎶
1:27 holy crap that whole nylon part gave me goosebumps, that's beautiful
When an ad is better than 90% of the music out threre
Two years ago when I stumbled upon you, sir, I hadn't picked up a guitar in ages. Thank you Tim for inspiring me to pick that bitch back up and grind through the hard parts of practice and the days you can't hit shit. Today I'm ripping through things I couldn't even imagine myself playing before I discovered Polyphia and your solo works!!
One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
I just discovered Tim and I'm just in shok, he has a really incredible talent, wtf, i feel everything he's playing, is like a drug
It is brother
Bro fr fr, I just discovered Tim as well and I’ve been hooked since!!
That was my reaction when I discovered him a year ago.... i wondered how on earth I survived that long without his music
Yeah, dude. He's actually a genius, showing how much of what we are already used to can still be improved or at least changed (not saying he's the only person doing this, just saying he's one of them). Love his approach to the guitar playing, so artistic and beautiful, really one of a kind
welcome to the club, some of us have been here since their Envision days.
I want this on Spotify damn it.
Same 😭😢

Brother I'm obsessed with this tune, I don't know what to do so I downloaded it and watched it again and again. Extraordinary brother 👏👏👏👏👏
The only AD I put on repeat
*I just installed my* NEURAL DSP *and it's great.* My *"Wonderwall"* cover sounded like *Doomerwave.*
Main riff sounds like Plini's Heart. Good stuff
Right
That's the song. I was searching for about 30 minutes finding what that riff reminded me of
yeah yur right about that. But Tim is known to take inspiration from a wide range of pre-existing songs. Pretty cool to hear the influence.
I was looking for this comment, glad more people noticed.
It happened. I was loading a Tim Henson video and this came up as the ad. Yes of course I watched the full ad
They made this into an actual KZhead ad?
I knew i loved this ad for a reason. The guitar playing is so insane im frantically trying to add this to my wish list for when i can afford it🤣🤣🤣
Genuinely an idol to me.
Editors!!! Amazing and on point as always HEH.
The world needs a 1 hour loop of this
Here you go
well the fuckin legend did it, dam
please no
Ive watched this countless times. I shall put this here before 1mil views to say I was here.
I only listen to this ad for the music. And I’ll keep replaying the track as long as I’m alive!!!
so this is who i saw on that one guitar ad. so glad i finally found out who it was 🙏🙏
Tim applied to Berklee and didn’t get in, immediately invalidating Berklee’s musical credentials. Berklee did what the kids call effing around and finding out
I mean, to be fair, Berkeley’s goal is to form working professional musicians, who’ll be able to learn and play perfectly 55 songs (maybe jazz, but the next gig might be rock, or country, or bossa nova or pop, or metal or gospel or folk) in two days with only an mp3, sight read on stages, know 200 jazz standards by heart and be able to improvise something that fits with anything. It’s a different skillet, you can’t go to school to learn how to invent your own style of music and guitar playing.
Bro called a track on album 4
I have listened to this unhealthy amount of times..
Man, this stuff is cutting edge.. the mix of virtuoso playing and electronic music production.. this hybrid, layered sound.. like it's own language.. when I was watching this I actually lol'd cause it's that dope.. nervous system tweeked..
Не знаю, как это описать, но при просмотре этого видео появляется чёткое ощущение, будто энергия от музыканта исходит настолько тонкая и хрупкая, что даже не верится - реальный ли это человек ...
God this shit still gives me goosebumps and it’s a fucking ad this man is insane
Tim must be guitar world's most loved child. Never have I seen him being unlikable once.
There were times when people used to make fun of Polyphia’s style back during the Renaissance album…
What about the time he said he wanted guitar music to “die a painful death”?
@@ryankrankowski7777 obviously bait
In fact the beginning of polyphia and Tim career is strong marked by some hate/toxic jokes about this style of playing
@@Vall619 He's said this on multiple occassions actually, he doesn't even listen to it. He listens to hip-hop only now.
I got this as an ad and I never skipped it
