Haaland basically played as a false nine last night. He would drop deep under possession which drew Holding or Gabriel forward, vacating space for De Bruyne to run in behind and Haaland was able to find and release KDB with through balls. Showed everyone just how good Haaland really is
Was holding mate not Saliba. His hold up and link up play has been abysmal this year, but he showed he can get better which is scary for the prem
Arsenal. Have 1 way of playing city has many ways
no one is talking how good city have been arsenal are just finding out what Liverpool had to deal with it, city is just at a different level
Hindsight is 20/20 but it's clear Holding shouldn't start for Arsenal ever. Play anyone besides him at CB. That was a huge mistake. And Arteta froze and didn't change anything which is what happened at Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton too.
First time listening....love your both knowledge of the game proper football lads
Just let one guy talk at a time PLEASE.
Since they benched, Trossard. 3 draws and a loss
Since they hired cone layer he's won one FA Cup in 4 seasons. Banter FC
@@hanx3560 ur a pro hater lol im guessing ur either liverpool or chelsea
Yeah, how does Arteta bench a player that provided so many assists and played so well since joining the club. He even got player of the month for the club last month. Took 60 minutes to bring him on. Just hope he starts more of the remaining matches.
@@StephenBolger Trossard is the assist king. Rob holding even has a goal off of Trossard now...makes no sense he's not starting
But Rob Holding can look at the score sheet years down the road and pretend it had nothing to do with him 😂
Just a quick one. If City do go on to win the league, does anyone know what happwns to the PL trophy Arsenal won in January....just wondering 🤔 🤔 🤔
Lol 😂
😅😅
Isn't that the front-runner trophy? I think I have seen it. Its made of glass and comes in the shape of a bottle
That the same thing I say bro record proves that arsenal tend to worn off coming to the end of the season 😂😂
They'll still get the prestigious top 4 trophy.
Remember a couple months ago when they said Man City were better last season without Haaland 😂
It’s cause they got bored of praising him at the beginning of the season with all them hat tricks and foden apparently not passing to haaland😃.
If you take last year's champions and add a goalscoring monster, I'd say it would be a disgrace if Man City didn't win the league
just a few months ago many said they were better without Haaland 😅
@@ruben6m well, that was always just ridiculous wasn't it?
@@falconarrowagreed… just one of the ridiculous claims some delusional Arsenal fans made. My favorite one was … “Odegaard is better than De Bruyne” 😂😂😂 I guess ignorance is bliss.. Their eyes were opened and their mouths SHUT last night
As April arrives what was predicted happened Arsenal start tightening up , making mistakes and City just outclassed them.
Money vs less money
@@tyleraltom6026 arteta net spend is worse than pep
@@finalfrontier001hahaha no way redo your research 😆😆😆
Yeah, keep making new predictions every month and finally get one right, then tell people "SEE, I was right." Well done, so clever.
Outclassed? More like outspent. Arsenal had two injuries and their defense was destroyed. City gets an injury and Kyle Walker plays, and there's still Laporte, Foden, Alvarez and so forth on the bench.
City's depth is the difference, the Saliba injury destroyed Arsenal's season. Haaland exposed Holding today. Gabriel didnt help much either.
Holding doesnt select himself in the team. Plus Arteta had other options. Play Tierney and shift Ben White to CB. but then again its easier to blame the title implosion on one player. Rob Holding the scapegoat
Saliba's absence has nothing to do with it. The whole team was not interested in competing.
And play without RB? Tomiyasu is also injured. Look at their record, goals and chances conceded since Saliba injury. They have yet to keep a CS and gave up 2 to WHU and LIV. 3 to SOU and 4 to MCI mostly through individual errors playing out the back and/or not being able to win duels in the air. Saliba makes a HUGE difference
Did Saliba play at the emirates and lose 3-1
“Depth” = money
City are the best long ball team ever..
Lovely podcast. I’m hooked, also Robbie has that Peter Drury tone to his voice. A bit trippy.
Bring on United in the cup final,it could well be over at H-T with there end empty
Excellent analysis as usual
Crazy thing is, people started questioning Pep cause he sold Zinny and Jesus to rivals and wondered why we even sold them. But people forgot the reason why we were playing a false 9 with a striker on the team playing winger. Jesus lowkey fools people with stats cause he really boosted his stats when we faced a bad team and City slap them and Jesus happened to have 4 or 5 goals. Those games boosted his stats and people thought he was a finisher that could also create. I love Jesus but he just has his shortcomings. And Zinny, he just is a b tier Lb with unique qualities which we valued, but he just is not the most solid def and he’s physically weak and not really athletic
arsenal has never been a rival or threat .
@@hc8714 True Man City have way more money
Poch has his own longtime staff, forget Lampard.
Arsenal is a big club for small games and a tiny club for big games.
True
there miles behind city you could see it different class that's three times they beat em this season if haaland had his shooting boots on it would of been 7
The fools who thought Arsenal will win the great premier league title that easy lol
They still can
Don't fault us for wanting our club to win
Money always wins unfortunately
One of the best tips we were ever given was the landrys card. It’s so funny when people who’ve been sat there for 30mins are giving you dirty looks as you walk straight in 😂
Last season it was Tuchel was gonna match Klopp’s legacy in 18 months, this season it was don’t let Arteta win the same amount of PL’s as Klopp in less time
What’s city vs arsenal got to do with Klopp Liverpool fans are so desperate to be involved 😂 you’re an irrelevant 6th place team. Know your place
@@Smj1303asy there mate… Arsenal had one good season in God knows how long… you can’t insult a glorious club Liverpool club like that. Liverpool have been in THREE, read that again, THREE Champions League Finals in the last five years. They had a truly bad season this year but they have enough money, talent and coaching to bounce back. By the way I am NOT a Liverpool fan. I am a neutral who truly enjoyed Arsenal’s type of football this season. It’s because of condescending and arrogant Arsenal comments like yours that I wanted City to humble you lot. And humbled you got😂
@@user-tb3vg1dy8d I support city you mong 😂
@@Smj1303 is that what your parents called you when you were growing up?? “Mong”?? 😂 Regardless, no need to disrespect Liverpool. They have earned everyone’s respect
@@Smj1303 6th place but also 6 time CL winners, a trophy your club knows nothing about 🤣 you should know your place you plastic club fan. Probably never been to Manchester. Enjoy getting relegated in a few years.
The excuse all these pundits still give lampard. The guy is useless as a coach.
Correct
Great player during his time but $hit coach now
Cream always rises to the top
And oil … money
De Bruyne and Haaland played just like Harry Kane and Son play against City
It’s is their destiny to win the PL. I have foreseen it.
Man City will win 30 more Premier League titles because they got oil money
@@mzf11125 oil money does not win you the league the manager does.
@@mzf11125 😢😢😢
Go ciity
In the reverse match at the Emirates where Arsenal lost even with higher possession figures, is exactly what Arteta planned for only for Pep to turn the table on him. Mancity had higher possession in this game. That was by design. That's Pep showing different ways of winning against Arsenal
Cool
19:00 was waiting for them to hop on Grelish 😂 just because he's a brit.
Who told you that, Charlie Cheon?
I'd blame Artete. Playing Shevchenko against such a team is to throw away points.
If Shevchenko, in his old age, came out of retirement to play for Arsenal against City, I would blame Arteta too!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shevchenko?
Arsenal are where they are purely thanks to Ramsdale.
Would playing this fixture pre-WC back in October when it was originally scheduled have made a difference? Probably not but Arsenal were in better form back then.
They were in better form when they lost at Highbury. Or wherever it is they play these days😊
Arsenal must learn to loss before think ING Of Winning build the mantality
Easier said than done
Blue roller skates
When Pep does it ‘he is fired up’, when Mikel does it ‘he is being too emotional and transmitting emotions to the team’ 🤷🏾♂️
If Chelsea make good changes before next season, with the money and without European football, they will have the room to possibly challenge for the title. Frank Lampard is not the answer.
Arsenal didnt fellow game. Instruction Good or bad Stick to play pattern Wil get chance
I love arsenal😅
So Grealish and Saka come to blows, one puts his hand in the face of the other and no red card? No suspension? If that had been Casemiro he'd be suspended for four games. What BS!
Don’t know why, but Mr Earle would not shut up and let the conversation breathe today……😮
Yes, I agree. I like him when it's his turn to speak. But he needs to let the other Robbie speak!
I absolutely can’t wait for the day Pep Guardiola leaves Man City 🙏🙏🙏
Bigger worry should be the person that us behind bringing in talented players into City. It that guys continues it won't matter if Pep is there or not.
Around 2043 thats when he will leave lol.
pray We don’t get a Good coach because if we do we still be top league and or oil money support us 💪
@@LitoLochoss I’m sure good coaches will come around after Pep leaves but most likely won’t have a guy at Pep’s level so it won’t be as annoying to be in the same league as city whenever that happens
I just wonder if City's league title bonus will be paid by the club or a shell corporation. 😂
maybe we might fiddle the books knowing the PL are to scared to charge us
Arsenal is a small club period.
A grocery store for young players, a business and then a football club.
We need oil money like City
Liverpool have won it once. Arsenal will not be in a title race next season
I honestly see Newcastle United winning it next season
@@edwardkelly3280 with somemore signing they can try but as long as pep is there city is untouchable
You play the same lineup every game, no changes in the last 4 games, saka had a bad performance every game , why not take him out second half or put him in second half . Arsenal drop the ball.
City......CITY......the best team in the land and all the world.....😁😆😉😊💙CTID. Can we now stop with these nonsense vlogs and media chars "can Arsenal stop City this is how Arsenal stop City, etc, etc"
Best team MONEY can buy
@@tyleraltom6026 Now you see thats a complete fallasy. We sit 9th in the net spend league table over the past 6 years, with all top 6 teams including liverpool a ove us. Goes to show much influence money - cheap petro dollars - has on the premier league. City is in a league all by itself. Look out for the new kid on the block, Newcastle.
How's Chelsea doing?
the background kind of annoying
Podcasts are usually audio only. That's why they didn't bother to have a decorated studio
All that paper, ever heard of laptops, tablets, iPads? They are nice, you can write on them too.
Hopefully city wins the champions league so pep can leave
