  • If we can't get more stories attached to mythicals I'd love to see more of this as an alternative to just going to the pokemon centre and getting a mystery gift mythical. I think really obscure methods like this really suit mythicals.

  • I'm just surprised you can get Meloetta as soon as you unlock the Terrarium. No need to finish the main DLC story or sidequests, you can just go to the location and follow the steps to have Meloetta show up.

    • @@figuradam61 I just meant once you can reach the Terrarium and explore it freely. As for the location, did you do it in the one specific spot that had leaves swirling in a circle? It's difficult to spot unless you're right on top of it.

  • Meloetta has always been one of my favorite mythicals, so her getting a cool ingame secret like this and hearing her Relic Song like that is so wonderful. Only thing that couldve made this better is her not being shiny-locked as I would've shiny hunted her immediately.

    • @14lamnc1 I don't remember exactly where but there's a girl somewhere in the coastal biome, I think she's near either the place you did the Alolan form catch requirement or near the Lacey fight arena, because I talked to her pretty early on. I would have to open up the game and talk to all of the npcs in the area to check which one specifically.

  • That was fun. Considering Melloetta's other form, spinning around makes complete sense. I took some time to listen to Melloetta's song and got attacked by a Zangoose. I was afraid I would have to go through all the effort of getting it to appear again, but that did not happen. I threw balls instead of attacking with the Level 100 Pokemon I had with me, and it changed forms after 7 or 10 attempts or somewhere around there.

  • Took me until this video to find out what I was doing wrong. Cuz the first 2 links left something out. 1 left out the music dampening so I was at the wrong Bush. The 2nd didnt mention you have to spin clockwise, since I had been naturally spinning counterclockwise. So thanks for that 🙂

  • I've watched many videos and read many articles on this and I can't get Meloetta to appear. I do the spinning and the sepia filter. I have tried different timings, different music, and still nothing. Is there some other condition in the game that must be met that I am missing? This is really frustrating.

    • Okay started to look more. And you have to be in a sortve specific spot. Try matching ADrives as much as you can kinda. And you'll also tell if its right by the wind blowing sounf getting a bit stronger

  • As someone whose favourite Gen is Unova I have to say this is incredible! Makes me very disappointed though that they bothered to put Meloetta in the game in such a cool way but then shiny locked it. Also, this seems much more difficult to do than what the Azure Flute would have been like back in D/P/PT days.

  • Hey mn, So I was thinking. Keldeo was a hidden Mythical in Sword/Shield. Meloetta is here. I believe Genesect will be a key player for the next Legends game. Also I think prior to the release of BW remakes there will be an event for Victini in Liberty Garden. All of this will be for, the NEXT Switch though, cuz I think we're gonna get Johto remakes first, Let's Go, Entei and Let's Go, Raikou! Also I hope the VC GS Ball from Crystal is in the game, so there's an excessable way to get Celebi.

    • @@mr.curtis6730 I already finished the game before I encountered Meloetta. Also this was before I thought of just doing a good search. Some guy on Reddit claims it respawns every 16 hours. I really want to try catching it in a nice looking ball and avoid things like Master, Timer, and Dusk balls.

    • @@diegodelamacorra8901 its got a fairly low catch rate use sanwiches and use paralisis, if you dont wanna suffer use a dusk ultra or quick, but if you want a decent ball a nest will do fine

    • Yeah but not Keldeo ufortunately, there are more legendaries from BW: Virizion, Cobalion, Terrakion and three new paradoxes Iron based on those pokemon (Iron Leaves, Iron Boulder and Iron Crown) But listen, there are ALL 3 unova starters too !! 😊
