about the shiny Blitze, it's not all of the special coaches. it's just a certain number of them
in the Savannah biome, there's a rock formation that looks very similar to Pride Rock from The Lion King, which is definitely a reference because a male Pyroar spawns on top of it

If you use ogerpon against Kieran, not only does he acknowledge this, but THE AI ACTUSLLY TRIES TO SPECIFICALLY TARGET OGERPON
I actually noticed he was targeting Ogerpon too despite me having bigger threats on the field. Bless her having Spiky Shield.

Also the AI practically expects the player to lead with her first and acts accordingly -- Politoed and Dragonite have a way to counter all her forms
Even though his AI has targeted my Ogerpon as well, appearently it´s not true for some reason but no one backed it up either that it´s not true but so many confirm that Ogerpon gets targeted by Kieran
@@BlazeNextGen i believe its actually in the code of the game to increase the targeting chance of ogrepon during the kieran fight
This is more of a sad fact rather than a fun secret. If you synchronize with your Pokemon to do auto battles, you absolutely CAN knock out shiny Pokemon
two more things: if you ride close to the crystals in chargestone cavern on miraidon, it gets surrounded by the crystals' blue crackly energy (not sure if thats true for koraidon, i own violet), and if you dont put the bread on top during your challenge with crispin he comments on it being weird and possibly a "paldean thing"
can confirm the same with koraidon + if you walk/ run nearby too
The whole open faced sandwich thing is also cool because open faced sandwiches are far more popular in Europe, which Spain is in, and what Paldea is based on. Since Unova is based off of America, it would make sense why Crispin is confused.
i discovered the crispin one on complete accident, i usually dont put the bread on top of the sandwiches, so naturally i didnt for the crispin challenge and discovered that, lol
Clay is likely the one who put black agurite deposit into the terrarium, since his ancestor is a Kleavor warden.
Holy shit... Clay's family is super important to the series, apparently!
10:06 Hydrapple is also a reference to the fact that Dipplin is introduced in a game where Gigantamaxing isn't available anymore, mainly because Hydrapple looks like a less goofy version of the Gigantamax Flapple/Appletun design in it's single-headed form.
Am I the only one who tried to push the giant crystals in Chargestone Cavern only to be disappointed they couldn’t be pushed like in the Gen 5 games?

Yep. I appreciate the scale they provide (similar to Rock Smash in PLA), but not adding movement to unlock paths was a missed opportunity.
Also after defeating Cyrrano as Blueberry's final boss, you can talk to him and he will tell that he has a house or property in Nimbasa City. Another Unova hint I hope. 😅
The new fly ability also allows you to glide indefinitely. Before, you'd glide for a certain distance and then you lose more height before the Pokemon would just drop out of the sky. It also fixes another issue. Before you could cancel the glide and on rare occasions, you can glide again but it was very temperamental. Now, you can cancel a glide and reactive glide as many times as you want until you hit the ground.
Indigo Disk is such a love letter to Gen V, I absolutely love it.
One could only wonder why...

You missed a secret room blocked by crystals in Area Zero. You need to find a Tera Garchomp to unlock the room and it’s full of loot, but mostly Tera shards

@@Padfoot_makes_stuff i found it. Tbh, saw in a video. Y'know the spiral that leads to the crystal tree? There is a hole there, next to the entry, hidden by a crystal and perspective. There is also a meteor beam tm there
The funny thing for me is that. My first time going to the area that looks like the nature preserve, I immediately found a shiny fraxure.

I think one of my favorite little secrets is in the Savannah biome. I think it's the stretch of land between the coastal biome and central plaza but there's a rock jutting straight out with a pyroar right on the tip. It's always there no matter how often I visit it, and I genuinely love the Lion King reference. Lion King was a childhood favorite so this tickled me pink with the sight.

That would've made so much sense. No one in the game talks about it or gives you any hints which sucks because the encounter method is batshit insane.

As for Archaludon being "the only non-Mythical/Legendary/Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon with a BST of exactly 600", I'm pretty sure the intention is for it to BE a Pseudo-Legendary now. To those saying it isn't because "oh, it needs to have 3 stages to be one", I'll just remind them that the term "Pseudo-Legendary" is fanmade in the first place, and while Game Freak and TPC have taken over fanmade terms in the past, that doesn't mean they always adhere to the same rules we think they do. It's also just as easy as giving Duraludon a pre-evolution in the next games and it'd 100% fit the requirements. As an extra indicator that Game Freak considers Archaludon as equal to Dragonite, Kommo-O and such, Duraludon literally appears in the New Years mass outbreak-event as the Blueberry-counterpart to the former twos pre-evolutions. Archaludon is a proper Mecha-Godzilla to Baxcaliburs Godzilla. Also, as for the "puppeteer" and "peachy" references in Kierans and Draytons dialogue, I have yet to reach that point in my Japanese language save file of SV, but that very well might be an English-only thing, and with Kieran very clearly being NOT puppeteered throughout the DLCs story, it's probably better to just assume that these weren't intentional.
Since it is a fan made term that requires 3 stages most people probably won't consider it as one since it doesn't fit that fan requirements
Yeah it really annoys that people are so adamant that archaludon isn’t a PseudoLegendary when the only thing that should mean is a bst of 600. Why is a 3 evolution line a requirement for PseudoLegendary when all it means is stats that are comparable to legendaries haha

@@NovaDog-gz4ye That's what I'm saying, all these "rules" were set by the fandom and Game Freak clearly doesn't have any qualms about "breaking" them.
Every other Psuedo-Legendary is a 3-Stage line, has a slow growth rate, a BST of 600, and evolves by leveling up at high levels. Archaludon is 2-Stages, has a Medium-Fast growth rate, and evolves via an item. It ONLY has the 600 BST in common. So we give it a seat at the 600 Club, but do not grant it the rank of Psuedo.
I didn’t think to use Ogrepon against Carmine and missed that text but I absolutely made it a point to use it against Kieran
I don't know if Carmine will target Ogerpon until she is gone, but Kieran DEFINITELY does

same, mostly because i noticed it changed colors from zygarde green to pretty rainbow sherbet colors
This Unova talk you and other people notice about in the Indigo Disk makes me want to make local Pokémon tournaments based on the Unova generation and even include regional variants, cross gen evolutions and even paradox Pokémon connected to Unova in some way plus any pokemon found in the Blue Berry Pokédex to help celebrate Pokemon Black and White as a fun thing to do.
The Nature Preserve one is the best one for me. Haxorus is one of my all-time favorites, I knew about the Tera Steller-Type Haxorus but not about the shape of the island that it stands in. This is truly awesome!

Just wanted to add on to the Meloetta fact. You do have to specifically spin clockwise for it to work. Something that doesn't seem to be mentioned as much. Took me ages until I figured that out as I was had been spinning it counter-clockwise. (Note: I hope I didn't flip those but the direction you spin does matter.)

Terapagos has a neat little referencen. While terapagos has a 50/50 gender ratio, the encountered in the game can only be male. Which is a reference to lonesome george the last pinta island turtle.

I noticed that the song that played when you see Keiran outside of battle before you beat the BBE4 sounds a lot like the Cipher theme from Colosseum.
Hydrapple has one of the best shinies ever. One detail is that the shiny Hydrapple has a Shiny Applin Green Apple on its horn.
Those items at the very top of the sphere in the Terarium just had me like, "You didn't have to do that, but you did, and I love you." 🥰

2:44 cyndaquil has avtually been in the game since launch, it was transferable through pokemon home, however it can only be caught in the wild in the dlc. Just thought id clear that up
4:29 This is assuming the Terarium was A) a concept at the time, or B) underwater at the time. Things change and develop: for all we know, the Terarium was mid-construction in Unova's Bay Area when Rosa visited it, and it was submerged a couple of years after. Not saying you're wrong and it's just a reference, but saying it can't be due to things we don't know to be the case at time isn't right. It's like saying the Kanto Radio Tower can't be the Pokémon Tower since there's no graves in it: several years have passed, things can change significantly in that time. (I say Rosa since Pokémon Masters indicates she's the one who went around Unova, not Nate, but eh, multiverse is an established thing now)

While I'm holding on to the hope that all these references are hints to Gen 5 remakes (better than BDSP I hope), they can also be explained as simply being related to the fact that Blueberry Academy is in Unova. Which in itself is a flag that bears hope of Gen 5 remakes.

With the Reference to the Nature Preserve I feel like it's not impossible for them to Teraform the land. It took them 2yrs to make the Marine tube. What's to say they don't use pokemon to change the whole area? It's definitely 10-15+ yrs into the future for the game. So it's not really a impossibility. Nonetheless a cool Easter egg.

I really enjoyed the DLC, but it’s really disappointing that I had to buy a DLC to have a more detailed version of the newest pokemon game. In the past, I feel like this would’ve all been included in the base game from the jump.
