He has been saying that arsenal got sick of him which is very false. We were counting on him and stood by him through many years of his injuries. If you’d like proof, you’re welcome to go find it.

Arsenal players who left Arsenal during that era prob were more successful. That's just being intelligent and being good jn business. Fabregas, Persie, Clinchy, Cole wouldnt have won more trophies if tbey kept playing at Arsenal, and thats a fact

I understand the "need to win", but I think players such as RvP should've fulfilled that in another league if they wanted to keep a pristine reputation with the club. In his case, Juve probably would've been the better option.

I will still never be able to forgive Robin for the way he left Arsenal. I honestly think Arsenal would have won the league if Robin had stayed at Arsenal. Robin was the difference between winning and losing. The cut runs deep.

Only reason he has regret now is because now that his career has ended, all he has is his legacy, which is massively tainted, Manchester United don't really have any attachments to him, he was just a temporary player to them and Arsenal have basically disowned him for leaving to go to their direct competition and winning them the title. He traded in a huge piece of his legacy and respect for a trophy and because of that, he'll just be another forgotten player who was decent in his time.
