- @@akankshyadas7001it’s called nano tape. There is a plastic film to protect the stickiness, and then you peel the film off. It is very stretchy and sticky.

As someone who has pinecone in her backyard, they do that cuz the moisture returns. They puff(heh) out due to cold and dry Temps but if they get moisture, they stay closed by the time they fall. I noticed when the pinecone above my hottub outside would fall closed while the ones away from my hottub would fall open and spread like that. To spread their seeds in drier climates

Pine cones close up during rain so their pollen spores don’t release until it’s dry again and the wind can blow them further

- We did it in class, I remember you have to get the fuzzy material shown in the video and tie it to a plastic straw. then you have to leave it in borax in the fridge or not for 24 hours then it’s done. sorry if it’s confusing!!

Lil fun fact: If you want to know if today's gonna be sunny or rainy, you can use a pinecone and put it outside for a while, and depending how open or closed it is, it will tell you whether the weather is dry or humid! ^^
