I try to reply often, but "I don't get step X" or "it doesn't work" is too unspecific and I can't help unless I know exactly what problem you have.
COMMON FIRST LAYER PROBLEMS
Step 1 & 2. If the side colors of the cross or first layer don't line up the way I showed it in the video, then you need to redo it. Pay attention to ALL of the colors on one piece, and don't just pick white pieces randomly. I talk about this in the video, how I'm trying to match the other colors of the white piece (like white/orange etc.)
TAKING PIECES OUT OF THE SECOND LAYER
Step 3. At 5:33 I say "you should already know how to do this". I admit this is unclear. You should insert a random yellow edge into the second layer using the same algorithm you use for solving the second layer. If this does not make sense, watch the example solve video linked at the bottom of this comment.
COMMON TOP LAYER PROBLEMS
Step 4. If you can only get 1 or 3 edge pieces of the top cross, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
Step 5. There should be no problems here.
Step 6. If you ever get only 2 corners in the correct location, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
Step 7. Finish the 4 moves (don't stop at 3) every time. Turn the bottom (don't rotate the whole cube) to get the next piece. If it STILL does not work, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
"Why do I need to reassemble the cube?"
Randomly assembling the cube only has a 1/12 chance of being solvable. If you've ever taken the cube apart or twisted corner pieces, then that can be the problem. If stickers have been switched, you will have to switch them back.

I THINK I BROKE THE RECORD!!... Longest time spent solving a rubik's cube: 10 hours! Yes!!!
TIPS: For first time solvers that are slow (like me). Pause each step or move, then mimic. Before solving, practice the 4 moves left side and 4 moves right side. I like to say "UP, AWAY, DOWN, and BACK" when doing those 4 moves. This video taught my 10 yo. nephew and 8 year old niece. They did every move on their own.

This is a perfect tutorial. I was able to follow all the steps just fine and you explained it in such a way that eventually, I was able to memorize all the steps and solve the cube on my own!
This tutorial is PERFECT for beginners. I thought I would never be able to solve a Rubik's cube but when I watched this tutorial I thought I have a chance to solve a Rubik's cube and now I can solve the rubix cube in under 2 minutes. Definitely recommend it!

My son's friend asked me how to solve a rubiks cube. I said eh, I dunno, let's look it up. Wound up here. I'm a disabled combat veteran with a brain injury but this instruction was dope so I managed to solve it. I went "Ah that's fun" started watching other videos here and Tingman videos. Wound up ordering a speed cube off Amazon that showed up today (the next day.) Somehow I managed to solve once at around 3 minutes today even with slower hand eye coordination and reaction time. I already knew how to do it but in another beginner method but it's faster. I don't know about others but it helped me. I would recommend also giving notations here.

In the last step when Dylan says corners he means the yellow corners... So you apply the algorithm as Dylan says and look whether the yellow corner is solved or not.. if it is solved then move as he says and it will be solved.

I feel like this is the way i used to know how to solve a cube, it’s nice relearning to solve this way even if i prefer the way the method on the rubik’s website has. Since that last step is very prone to messing up the solve from my past experience
Had to re-watch most of the moves like 20 times in slow motion just to catch what you did but in the end I got it figured out and now it takes me less than 5 minutes to solve the whole cube. Thank you (No, I had no idea how to solve it two days ago)

I'm 50 years old and got my first Rubik's Cube when I was 10 and have never been able to solve it. In February 2021 I set out to finally learn how to solve one. Using a bunch of your videos I managed to learn how to do it in about 5 days and went from averaging 5 minutes initially using the beginner method to under 1 minute with the beginner method now in December 2021. I only use the beginner method and can't wait to learn CFOP. Need to master F2L and look ahead first. Me and my kids love your videos! Keep it coming!!!

i have had a rubiks cube thats been unsolved in 10 years and i found it in my closet and i decided i want to try and solve it. I might have had to rewatch this video at least 7 times but i have finally solved the cube!!!
After watching many times I solve the yesterday cube, which probably took me about 4+ hours to do. I’ve since solved it 4 more times the last time taking me 12 minutes. This was an AWESOME tutorial. Thanks

I tried to solve a Rubik's Cube for 10 years (Off and On) and never managed to do more then 1 side. I did rewatch this video like 10 times but I did it. Finally for the first time in over a decade I solved a Rubik's cube. I tried it over and over again with and then eventually without help. I learned to do it in under 5 Minutes in just a couple of hours. Amazing video my man. Thank you so much.

Step 5 doesn't always work it works with pure luck. The first 2 times trying it worked well and now I'm trying to do it and did the moves he asked me to about 10 times with no result

This has to be the worst youtube video ever to solve the rubic cube he is 1 going too fast for bigginers and 2nd he is not helping at all he is expecting you to solve some of the cube without him showing you l have seen some bad videos but this video has to be the worst video ever l dont believe at all of the comments put on this video as to people were able to solve the cube l got my friend who is excellent in helping but even he said this video is the worst ever video for solving the rubic cube
