This is my life growing up as an Autistic person. During my childhood, teenagehood, and young adult, I was always considered a freak, but I found friends who were different. They were special in their own unique way, and this video is the perfect example it. Thank you for your talented animation.

As an autistic person myself I can confirm this is a bad comparison.
I interpret this animation as people see someone happy, they are always called "crazy" and are despised and excluded, until they finally find someone nice and the excluded finds friends who welcome him! I've already experienced this at my school and I'm thrilled that there are people who know what it's like, these animations have open-minded social criticism and that's what I like! Patrick you really have talent!
when the new color appears, the animation starts with a gray and depressed view but when the mutation appears, a new brighter and colorfull view happens, and it changes everytime acording on whats going on, nice detail, it really shows the the art inside of the animation

This was so satisfying, and it's great to see you're continuing this series one glass at a time! From beginning to end, this series has grown from being about desperation and being alone and how it's wrong to be different in any way, to have that shrink and slowly grow to have a world filled with vibrant and colored things! That's just my take from it anyway, but it is something nice and refreshing to see. The talent from everyone is amazing and shines like the brightest of stars in the best way!! I personally relate to this video, in a family full of people who don't understand/don't want to accept me being trans. I've been misgendered and hated within my family, but I have friends who accept me for who I am, and a lot of friends who are just like me. This video is a perfect example of how people who are different and unaccepted can find friends just like them who support who they are. Thank you for this animation, Patrick. I've always loved these Pour Generation animations!
You know you have to understand how parents feel when their sons or daughters became trans But at the same time your right
Well, with me was the opposite. Just my family accepted me. In my school, my teachers and school's principal used to say "You were a mistake" or "You'll never have success". My English Teacher said that is impossible me being accepted in a University. Or when my Philosophy Teacher said "Your questions are insignificant". I always had to be a different person. I remember my mother motivating me. Now, I finished my graduation, something that my teachers would never think. I understand you, sometimes people want us be someone we aren't.
One thing Iikes about the generation of the first orange cocktail glass was that it's parent was orange to begin with. I feel like a lot of the time LGBT children get a strong emotional reaction from their parents because their parents were able to pass and expect their children to be able to do the same and don't understand that the circumstances are different.
Wa wa someone called you your biological gender
This explained my life in school without missing the slightest detail. I was the dork who played and knew about basically every game known to man. I accepted who I was for a bit. Until people picked on me for being dorky, and that was all I did. But one fateful day in 7th grade, a new kid came into my class. He was just like me! We got along really well, then I started to go to conventions where I met several other geeky friends!
geeks rule!
This is the most surprising and inspiring ending ever from “Pour Series”. The story is simple with new fresh idea how the society can be went wrong. I felt so good the film changed its tone from the hopeless reality into the more lighthearted meaningful message. The film teach us to accept who they are no matter how weird they are, then make the society to be more weird and keep weirder. Additionally, the animation is smooth and unique with each of times the glasses is growing and multiplying.
I think everybody's weird. We should all celebrate our individuality and not be embarrassed or ashamed of it. -Johnny Depp
This new one is definitely the best yet, it's a lot more optimistic than the rest
thank you! yeah, I had to make it nicer after the brutality of POUR GAMES.
I love this films because its so relaxing and i watch this always to sleep
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="130">2:10</a>. Rasism lore:
Well it have been a long time that I didn’t comment here in the channel, what are my interpretations: two to be honest, the first is more about related to genetics, mutations in genes and passing your characteristics to your descendants, the other is more about family, being different in a certain way in the family, being the rejected black sheep you know, and after that finding people that you can identify and accept you, anyways good as always ;)
"black sheep" most def. great comment.
Fantastic work, Patrick!! Per usual you manage to make incredibly difficult animation looks easy and inviting. My favorite shot is the umbrella break, and the saturation shift is beautifully subtle. It's nice to see the theme grow organically. IDK if this is the crescendo of the series, but it's a wonderful progression to the overall story arc. If there's one problem, it's that you keep raising your own bar, making your NEXT even more intimidating. But, we're confident you'll keep up the great work! 😀
Thanks for this comment! umbrella break is my fav shot as well.. the foley was fun to record (tree branch). Thx again my friend!!
I like the little whisper dialogues, like at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="152">2:32</a> when the B guy said "freak" quietly
glad you could hear that. I was worried I whispered it too low.
I was able to hear it to! Great job!
Once again Patrick, you blew my expectations by 1 million! Everything about this animation was so well done, and the plot was very interesting and funny when one of the cups had a tantrum with X. Either way, amazing job Patrick, I hope you continue to make videos like these as it always puts a smile to my face 😊
thank you so much, and such a great comment, made my day!
You can really see the similarities with the original Pour 585, and it yet it takes a totally different and much more optimistic approach. It kinda makes me think of identity, divergent people, how they can influence others and stuff like that Even though I'm technically autistic and I suffered from it, I don't really relate to the character's pain. I grew from that and I now accept the fact that I'm a weird unconfident person as part of my identity. What struck me the most however is the ending, where the guy created some kind of little community. I've been inspired by so many artists lately and it pushed me into drawing. I'm not gonna explain everything, but I relate a lot to this this scene Anyways, this comment quickly turned into an essay about my life. I just wanted to say thank you to Patrick Smith for making stuff
this is a great comment. you know that I used same musician as 585? maybe that's why it feels similar. thx for sharing your personal interpretation btw!!

I love everything in this video. Designs, animation, idea, EVERYTHING! I really hope to see more in the future :) Edit: I also loved that quiet "ᶠʳᵉᵃᵏ"
thx SO MUCH.. really makes my day to read a comment like this.
I feel like this shows the attitudes of the cups, and seemingly there are two factions. Theres the Wineglasses, orderly, uniform, prone to repetition, the homogenous like the description says, and they're mean or downright cruel to anyone who dont abide by their society, outsiders, outliers, or sometimes even their own kind as a show of status or dominance. (Like in 585, 668, and pour games) Then there are the "Misfits" (or Variety), who are wildly different compared to the wineglasses in shape and size. The Variety are more open to change, and are accepting to others differences compared to the Wineglasses, heck they even contain wineglasses in their numbers. They even don't harm or mess with outliers who find themselves upon them, like in 939 with the jar, they just continue on with what they're doing.
I could not have said it better.
i love this so mutch
I love the story presented, often difference comes at the price of isolation but it is those who can accept you that you will find happiness with
