Hammerhead Shark Attacks Tarpon - Fan Can't Believe It!!

In the episode of BlacktipH, we go fishing with the Platinum Club Fishing Trip Giveaway winner, and a hammerhead shark attacks their tarpon! The day began with catching mullet by the beach. After Davis netted a bunch of mullet, Josh tossed out the lines for tarpon and sharks. Rafael immediately hooked up to a shark, which he fought for over 15 minutes before the line got chewed off. Shortly afterward, a jack crevalle smashed a mullet on the surface, and Rafael reeled him to the boat. Many baits later, Rafael finally hooked his first tarpon, and it was a giant! A few minutes went by, and right when they made it offshore, a massive hammerhead came out of nowhere to try and eat it! It was chaotic, but Josh was finally able to pull the fish away from the shark. Rafael won the Platinum Club Giveaway and got flown to Palm Beach, Florida, to fish with BlacktipH! #SharkAttack #Shark #Attack #Fishing #Tarpon

    • I spent a lot of vacations in my youth shark fishing around Pine Island, Florida using chunks of Lady Fish, Mullet, or Catfish. After watching that shark attack that Tarpon, I'm thinking about just hooking a live one through the back. Didn't catch much the last time I was there, because they say the water around Pine Island got too polluted by fresh water. Hurricane Charlie was blamed for wrecking the fishing there after August 2004. It literally passed right over Boca Grande I think, or Cayo Costa.
